I love that they carry local brands some from other places, and there’s a wide variety of items, and price ranges for everyone. Their clearance section always has great products and they reduce the prices well. I also love that I can purchase a donut at the counter. Everything is vegan so you don’t have to think twice. “Most staff are nice, but one who appears to be the manager/owner seems stingy and wanting to lecture people about how they don't make much money or lose money on milk and so they can't give me points on buying milk. Brought up cheese and yogurt that was expired and she acted like it was my fault.
Prices are expected as it is nice and convenient, and there are interesting and unique products. However they seem to have an inventory problem and have too much of some stuff that doesn't sell well, and often have some random discounted/clearance items.”

“Finally was able to drop by to try out their pasta and it didn't disappoint. I love that the pastas change daily with two options.
Tried the puttanesca and the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavourful. We also ordered a side order of bread. It has a crisp top with salt. It went well with the pasta.
There's not too many tables inside, but there's seating outside as well. It's a cozy vibe and everyone there is friendly. I'd definitely come back for more pasta and good vibes.”

“Love this store. I worked on a construction site a few years back & got to know the owner because he's a very trustworthy person. The other 'convenience' store is closed - apparently shady & that was my experience with them too.
I hadn't been in the area for a few years and store owner remembered me, wow. I now stop in after attending a dance class on Saturdays at the Collingwood Community Centre. We always have a chat and a 'catch up'. The last couple years I'd had some serious medical issues and he actually cares about his customers & how they are doing. I don't live in this area, I'm over at Fraser & 41st but will always stop in when I'm in the area. Thanks for being a nice guy Tim!”
“As we dont have any Bangladeshi grocery in Seattle, I love coming back to Dhaka Bazar to do my deshi grocery. The owner Limon bhai and his associates are always welcoming and very hard working. Neat and clean store with lots of deshi products. Love it.”

The staff is consistently friendly, their hours are good and their selection is wide enough that you can get a lot of what you need for a last minute meal or a delicious snack. “We found this place by accident, walking by and saw all the cases of soft drinks. They have a great selection of pop from the US. As someone else mentioned they don't have signs with prices. However the employees were very friendly and scanned the drinks I was interested. Although the drinks are much more expensive than local soft drinks they are about the same price as other specialty shops in the area. One variety was over three times the cost of a regular local Coke. But you are paying for variety.
Having never been here before I don't know if they always have a good variety. For now, being addicted to a couple of flavours,I will be a regular customer. They also had a decent selection of chocolate bars. I didn't pay attention to the meat area but there were many options.”
