“For quick exit i love the self check out. Why not have the eating area as you exit the building thereby reducing the collection of carts while eating. Like the QR appointment idea at the cell phone kiosk.”

“Service is quite good surprisingly. Man runs out to pump your fuel and wash your windows like the good 'ol days. Prices are fair but store is small so selection is limited. Would have given 5 stars if the welfare office wasn't across the hwy. Undesirables seem to gather in the area busking for spare coins quite often!”

“All the staff is always very pleasant and helpful. I come to this location quite often for this reason. And also the washrooms are always clean and tidy at the very least and also they don't just put out of order sign up just cuz it's dirty, not that's it's ever been very dirty.”

“It feels funny to leave a review for a gas corporation, but one employee needs to be recognized. I had the pleasure of meeting Kim around Christmas of 2023. Just happened to have some cash and needed some fuel. Not my best day, and yet I left grinning ear to ear. This woman is an absolute angel. I am loyal to THIS SPECIFIC gas station purely because of her. I only get gas Friday nights after work, and never pay at the pump, just so I can go talk to Kim. I am 100% convinced that she is the most kind hearted, generous, sweet woman in this city. Heart of gold. This station has earned my loyalty solely because of her.”

“A conveniently located gas stop and small convenience store. With a automatic car wash. No wand at this location. It's a great way to trade a few esso points, or cash dept/credit card.”

“I buy my lotto at Esso bridge hill on the Westside. Also they have a very clean washrooms and you don’t have to ask for a key. They also have a BMO bank machine so I don’t get dinged taking out money.”

“This pharmacy has always been great. Yesterday my doctor called in a prescription but it was not ready when i arrived. Instead of having me come back the next day, Jennifer at the cashier counter, went to the back and arranged to have it for me in another 15 minutes or so. We have always been lucky enough to have her when we check out at the counter, and she is always courteous and friendly. Thank you Jennifer for great service.”

“Was delighted with the exemplary customer service I received here today from a teller named Raj. He was inundated with some cranky and high maintenance customers..he was kind, patient and friendly regardless..and I appreciated his positive attitude and his obvious dedication to his chosen vocation. He is an asset to your employ. Will be back to visit! #Raj#awesome#thanks...loved his spirituality and kind demeanor”

“Staff is very pleasant and they pump the gas. ?? The facility has been totally updated being very clean and modern. Snacks, trinkets, lotto, free air for your tires, and propane as well as gas. AND lots of smiles and courtesies. ??????”

“I give this a 4 cuz they have chester chicken. No vapes and there carwash on the lot is a bonus with really good vaccums. However it really upsets me that to try to overcharge when buying a screamer. They do it everytime i go in there. Instead of the 3 something they want 7 and some change. First of all thats not legal and secondly i have to prove the price as it is on the canco site. I do not let them get away with that and nor should anyone else. So the staff there are questionable.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
