“I go to the Pleasant Hill OTF from time to time if I have to work in that area on a particular day. I have to say PH OTF has some of the BEST coaches. Michael is an amazing coach!!! He is super focused on the members and encourages them to be their best while in his class. Thursday I took Vicki's class and it was a 12 minute bench mark challenge. She was very personable and walked around before class to see what our goals were. She encouraged the members to cheer on the cardio team during their benchmark challenge. Both Michael and Vicki are exceptional coaches. If you are considering joining the Pleasant Hill OTF I encourage you to. You will not be sorry. Go get'em ?”

“I found StudioFlex via Yelp and was thrilled that I did. I recently checked it out and had an assessment by one of the owners, Kyle Gee. The facility is fantastic - very clean, state of the art equipment and a good variety of it. There is a small parking lot that makes it very convenient and easy. Besides the awesome facility, I have to give a huge shout out to Kyle. His intake and assessment was really thorough - he asked a lot of excellent questions to ensure that he had all the information needed as a trainer, but also to ensure that my needs/goals would be met. Kyle inspired confidence and truly showed he cared about my health journey. You would be in great hands at StudioFlex should you check it out - which you should!”

“I've been personal training with Fred for close to five years and it's been a great experience. Prior to joining Beyond Health I wasn't a fan of exercise or working out in general. I didn't enjoy the traditional gym environment and was looking for a more personalized experience to help me build a habit of working out more regularly. After working with Fred three times each week, I can see and feel the difference in my muscle development and overall health. He's extremely knowledgeable and caters the workouts to your needs without being a drill sergeant. You can go into each session without stressing about which workouts to do, which weights to use and no judgements; this makes it a much more relaxed environment. I highly recommend Fred if you're considering personal training!”

“Great place to workout. Small gym feeling without all the normal large gym drama. I love that the equipment tracks your progress and instructs you on amount of weight, reps and exercise. I am not looking to bulk up but rather tone up and strengthen my core. Stephanie one of the owners and fit coach is great...very helpful. Happy that the gym reopened given the COVID issues. “I decided to sign up for their Back to School Back to You special which was $77 for 21 days. They give you a nutrition plan and you get unlimited workouts. So far I have already lost 4 lbs. The workouts are challenging and everyone is really encouraging. If you do a challenge they take a deposit that goes toward the gym. Try it out & see for yourself.”

“I had decided to try out kick house after seeing they had a discounted plan on active & fit and have been going for about 4 months now. The coaches are all really good and have their own special way of teaching (Coach Jackie and Robbie are my favorite) but all of them are friendly, encouraging, and informative. When signing up manager Alexa was really good at introducing me to kickboxing for the first time. She also helped me figure out the best plan that suited my time and budget. The classmates are all very genuine and supportive. The staff maintain the studio very well by cleaning all equipment and floors after every class. From consistently going I have definitely noticed results and feel a lot stronger overall. Each class builds up to a tough but fun workout.”

“Can't say enough great things about Lamorinda CrossFit.I've been active my entire life but felt my workout routine was getting a bit boring. Two years ago, I found LCF. As a competitive individual, I like the format of LCF classes and the fact that each workout has a measurable outcome so I can track my progress. I enjoy having coaches who genuinely care about me and push me harder than I was used to pushing myself. I've found improvements come in many different forms and in ways you least expect. “Tried out a climb x bootcamp class and I loved it. Definitely a great workout. The parking lot is small and you must park in an unmarked spot. The climb room is very slim but it works. There's no lockers but cubbies. I would definitely go back to try the lagree class.”

“As other's have said before, very welcoming atmosphere, welcoming, non-judgmental, and you will be encourage to push yourself as hard as you would like. What a fun way to have a workout.I've done muy thai before so had some striking experience, but this will work out your conditioning something serious. Get fit and have fun while doing it makes it not seem like exercise! You'll sweat your butt off and learn the basics.”

“This is the best gym in the Bay Area, California - and likely the country. Vlad and Becker will literally work with you to get you on whatever shape you want. These guys go the extra mile. Why is this the best gym around? Simple. I am a busy executive and can’t stick to a defined schedule. You can come in whenever you want when they are open and is totally flexible. You always have a trainer or two to spot you! This place helped me lose 40 lbs. in 6 months. I even used the 9Round once in DC and SD when on work trips but Vlad was the best. I can’t recommend Vlad and 9Round enough!! They are amazing and you won’t find a better gym or workout program. Period.”

“This gym is great. Been there since 2019. Before, during, and after covid they have always been fair and respectful to ALL of their members. They always try to meet your expectations by welcoming feedback. If they dont have something you need for your workout, they do their best to get it, or find an alternative.Their equipment is always maintained well. If something is broken or wearing down, they fix it. Equipment is usually available and the gym is rarely packed.
