Afterwards, I purchased some clothes at a really great price. It’s a very organized, clean, and friendly space. Highly recommend this gem in San Leandro and I hope to come back soon!”

“Lovely little shop that’s crammed full of wonderful old (mostly) things! They were very friendly and helpful, when asked; otherwise, I was left to browse peacefully…which I did for a very long time. There’s a lot to see!
I felt that some prices were a bit high, but overall reasonable and fair for the market. And I did buy lots of things: jewelry, beaded necklaces, and some antique sterling silver.
I will definitely be returning!”

“This is a great little thrift store located across from Lafayette Park. There is a large variety of clothing, including men's clothing. There are lots of toys for kids of all ages.I went there looking for a choker necklace. However, I found a beautiful bracelet and lightweight animal print shawl.They have lots of helpful volunteers. The profits go to local charities. --”

“AMAZING. They have so many good finds vintage, new, and y2k. You definitely have to hunt but it's worth it. They have cute little carts you can push around which are convenient. I got like 20 things for $60 which was a steal. Very good color tag deals and low low prices. Apparently you can coupon online for more savings! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING ETC.”

“Great help from the staff. I needed a walker for my Mom but didn't see any until I asked. Debra showed me where there were and helped me pick the right kind. She understood what I was going through with my Mom and made getting the walker enjoyable. A few minutes of compassion made my day since sometimes you feel alone when it comes to caring for your sick parents. Thank you for your support Debra. This place is fantastic I always receive excellent service from everyone and I appreciate all the volunteers”

“I've lived in the House nearby the thrift shop for about 5 years stopped by once and thought the prices were initially high.
However over the last 6 months I've stopped by almost every other week and I've been bringing donations and shopping for family members and Christmas gifts. I found the staff to be very friendly and warm. They rotate products very quickly and now I've noticed that some days there's tags that are on sale which is great to rotate product and give you the chance to buy something if you thought it was a little bit high.
Additionally the Christmas sales in the holiday gifts that were available were really well priced to move and I've also found some really great clothes for my daughter's there and now it's become something we enjoy going and doing together which I think is a wonderful part of the community plus it's all for a good cause.”

“I have shopped at Habitat since they were in the old bowling alley on Monument. The inventory and bargains may vary but the heart and soul of the employees never does. Hansel and Andrea are delightful and they make sure all transactions are fair to the customer and provide finances to the Habitat program. After all - the stores primary purpose is to support construction of new homes. I must also mention that Hansel and Andrea have passed on their excellent customer service to newer employees like Deshawn. If you ever have a question or an issue every employee will do whatever they can to help”
“This was a great shop for thrifting! The clothing selection is small, but it’s all well gone through because the clothing is quality for a really great price. Shirts were $3 and jackets were $5. There are also furniture pieces, pretty large and brand new! The cashier was really kind too!”

“I'm a huge fan of Goodwill/thrift stores, so my opinion is definitely biased. The staff have always been very helpful. The store gets really crowded on the Saturday 50% discount days (call ahead of time to find out which dates have the sales, bring a friend, go early). Teachers also get discounts on Sundays. A bit of organized chaos, but there are always hidden treasures if you have the patience.”
“I just dropped off about 6 bags of clothes, blankets, and school supplies at 2pm, which is when they stop accepting donations. Rather than being made to feel bad for keeping someone late or being asked to come back tomorrow, I was greeted by a gentleman saying, "Welcome to Goodwill. Thank you so much for your donation!" He continued to be very kind, gracious, and courteous. What an amazing experience! The whole transaction lasted less than 2 minutes, but the impression this gentleman made on me will last a very long time.”

“Find good little things for good price like the organization. Was hesitant to go because of reviews but decided to try it. Staff was friendly. Not sure why customers are complaining of prices I'm sure there's a certain amount that needs to be charged for them to keep running. Overall had good experience found some nice cloths and my kids like looking around too.”

“honestly this place is a goldmine. i popped in looking for a lamp and ended up with a vintage sweater, a stack of cookbooks, and a little ceramic fox i didnt know i needed. the prices are so fair and the ladies at the counter were super sweet, ill definitely be coming back next time im in town.”
