“We stayed here on our way to Pebble Beach from Washington state. We were really confused when we first drove up. There’s nothing on the exterior of this place that gives a hint to the wonderful amazing magical place inside the gate. We stayed in base camp. It is a super fun and unique experience. The level of detail is superb. We ended up booking another night for our return trip. LOVE THIS PLACE!”

“The Lady Anne is our favorite place to stay in Northern California. The hosts, Sam and Sharon, are delightful people that make our stay such a great experience every time. The house is an authentic Victorian home, with every bit of the charm and history you’d expect and hope for. Morning breakfasts are fantastic and interesting conversation is always on the menu. If you’re staying in Arcata, The Lady Anne is something you must experience.Rooms: There are many rooms to choose from, each with their own personality and vibe.Walkability: The Lady Anne is just a few short blocks from the Arcata Plaza, Wildberries (the best grocery store in Arcata), restaurants etc and is a short walk/drive to Redwood Park. Perfect location for visiting Arcata.Food & drinks: The breakfast served is delightful, especially for kids. Tasty edible flowers from the house garden often accompany the meal, which is a lot of fun and inevitably leads to interesting conversation at the table!”

“The beds were very comfortable, room was decent motel quality. Close to a 24 hour diner called Toni’s with fantastic desserts, and I highly recommend going into Arcata for a crepe at Renata’s for breakfast. The laundry room was a nice value add, but the dryer didn’t dry. It’s right off the highway and great if you’re road tripping to the redwoods!”

“Nice clean rooms and facilities. Breakfast was good, but not sure if some things can't be helped... skip the steam pan stuff like hash browns or sausage. The waffles are great and anything else you can make fresh.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it over other nearby hotels.”

“This quaint, centrally located hotel with old world charm is a delight, and the front staff was incredibly helpful. For those looking for a hotel with character and personality (not one of the 'anywhere highway hotels'), check this place out.”

“Traveling with pets can be a literal crap shoot. This Motel 6 was clean and they went out of their way to give us the room farthest from any busy street, so it was very pleasant. A bit removed from downtown, but easily accessible to all we wanted to explore. Very pleased and can highly recommend.”

“Very friendly staff and very hard working.
When we checked in on Weds the girl with piercings on her lips wasn't too nice, or mean either, just regular i guess. For the following days Thurs-Sunday the rest of the staff was real real nice and helpful.”

“Difficult for out-of-town travelers to find specific property. We got lost several times ... a detailed map would help, I think. We are not accustomed to round-abouts LOL”
