“This place needs an update, seeing that the last review is from 2017 and all! .... So my family and I just moved in down the street and this place just happens to be the closest store of any kind that's in walking distance, so we decided to come and check it out. The store is filled with a variety of things! Pretty impressive actually! Kind of reminds me of a 99cent store mixed with a T-shirt shop, they have clothes, shoes, jewelry, belts, tools, shelf food, refrigerated items, snacks, cleaning supplies, hair, body and nail care supplies, tobacco and accessories, big living room sized rugs, pots and pans, etc... There's no way to name it all, but they have a lot! And is actually perfect for those 'quick runs' when you just need something immediately! The guy behind the counter was like an old time friend that we hadn't seen in forever! Just super friendly and happy to see us ! Lol Made us feel very welcomed! Shop is clean. Prices are low and vary. Husband got a nice thick hoodie, and a pair of Van shoes look-a-likes for work for like 40$! They even have ice! Haha. So glad we liked it because we'll be coming often!”

“I love the owner here he is very knowledgeable about his products and always friendly and willing to help. Anytime you have a problem has most likely got the answer, I had a problem with my tank connecting and he was able to tell me how to fix the problem without trying to sell me additional products. He is honorable and knowledgeable and this is a great store.”

“Very clean and organized store but that is not the best part of this Dollar Tree. Recently my wife and I shopped here for a few items and I noticed an employee guiding a blind couple through the store to pick up their groceries and supplies. My heart felt joyful and my eyes got misty seeing the patience, compassion and empathy shown by the employee. Kudos to you and may god bless you!”
“The best Dollar Tree I've been to in Bakersfield. Big, clean, organized and well stocked. The only thing is that thwy don't have a fridge/freezer so they don't carry those products. Other than that it is great.”

“It's never over crowded very centrally located and the check out lines are very short and go very fast. Much better location than some years ago when they were on Wilson Avenue. Primarily, it's a very seasonal store as They continuously rotate their merchandise depending on the time of year that we are in.”

“I always thought they just did girls clothes. They've got everything in there you won't believe it. Of course they have clothes, electronics, sports gear, shoes, vehicle items and miscellaneous homeware. You got to check it out it's worth the stop.”
“While dinnertime approaches, it is often my anxiety that i....uh-oh....FORGOT SOMETHING!!! -N its always some fundamental part of the whole meal and so, without a minute to spare in our busy, busy life - i run down to DollarGen, where they almost always have what i need. This location has a little bit of everything. Great, low prices. But most prominantly, the staff. This group of employees are ALWAYS friendly, always helpful, always smiling, sometimes they even brighten my day if im having a hard one! They make the whole environment a welcoming and friendly and the experience a positive one. Whomever does the hiring n firing n put THIS group of employees together at this specific DG - somebody should definitely give THAT person a raise! Id choose to go to this location even if i lived clear across town! Overall i give it a 12 outta 10.”
