“After reading reviews about this location and the one on Shattuck, I came here to open an account. Glad I did. Their employees are so helpful and nice!!! Particularly Amarita and Jessica. They walked me through the process of opening a business account. Amarita even researched something with me, which proved to be helpful because when I got home I wouldn’t have found the information on the website had I not seen it at her office.Chase is so much better than Bank of America. And apparently are the largest in America so we don’t have to worry about it going under like recent banks around here have.Super happy with my experience and glad I came here (which is further away) to open a new account.”

Asked You To Provide Information Through A Government Funded Company Who Provides You With A Focus Bank Card And Account To Conduct Banking Transactions Why Can You Not Walk Into Any Branch Walk To The Teller Windows Provide Bank Focus Card And Identification And Withdrawal Any Dollars Amount Maxium On Card Without Having To Sit In An Office ? Have Manager Take Your Bank Focus Card ID To The Teller Window ? Come Back To The Have You Sign A Receipt With Withdrawal Amount Give You Copy Then Have You Walk Out Of The Office ? To The Teller Windows To Have Receive And Have Your Cash ? Withdrawal Counted Out Then Given To In An Envelope .

“Very good customer service and really good staff. Problem. Runs out of cash at the ATMs. Happened over the weekend of May 4th. 2025 around noon. That seems to be systemic with Wells Fargo these days.. They used to be 100% reliable. As far as cash at ATMs cuz I would give the past 12 months on 90% reliability. That's really sad for one of the largest banks in the United States”

I highly recommend her. I also feel safe using the ATM inside and have had nothing but polite, helpful service from everyone else at this bank. After searching around for quite a while for the best bank for a business account and cards, it was refreshing that the biggest bank around is so appropriate. For personal accounts, I'm very satisfied with my local credit union.”

The bank-tellers and workers make more than up for the rough and sketchy block they got assigned to by higher-ups and city planning. Helpful, friendly, clean (inside). Outside: Bank customer's personal safety does not seem a priority to Bank of America HQ or Berkeley city planning.

“I don’t know why comments are so negative. I opened an account here and it was really efficient, the Manager is really nice. I contacted her a few days later because I needed a document and she sent it to me in the hour. They have very good offers to open an account, especially when you’re paid by UC Berkeley, and even if you’re international. There is also a nice bank app. For now it’s perfect !”
