“Treasures of Tibet Store is the best place to shop in Berkeley for clothing, blankets, jewelry and gifts. It is owned by a fabulous family and Peki and Thubtan are such friendly and generous owners. They run the business with integrity and kindness as well as being so helpful and friendly. Their store items are of stupendous and excellent quality: beautiful and soft materials in their blankets and ponchos. They have a wide variety of clothing, from excellent , colorfully designed cotton pants to a diverse range of Tibetan blouses and coats. The earrings are truly beautiful and of many lovely gemstones. There are many rings to choose from. It is a truly well run store with so much to choose from, even big and beautiful abalone shells! This store deserves 6 plus rating. It is a well organized and beautiful store with such friendly owners who will go out of their way to give you the very best service.”

Their prices seem to always land somewhere between $200-$400. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

“I’ve been a big fan for years of this boutique. It’s introduced me to so many great designers and brands. I recently purchased a skirt here for a friend as a gift, and they wrapped it beautifully! They told me she wouldn’t need a gift receipt to return or exchange - super easy. I have a dress by the house brand I bought years ago that I still get a ton of wear out of. “I've coveted my Eileen Fisher purchases for these last 5 years because the pieces are always exemplary, but after going to the Eileen Fisher store at 4th street in Berkeley on September 8th, I am bowled over by the next level assistance provided by the sales associate. I was picking up items ordered online and when I tried them all on they all worked. But - the shirt I had selected to wear that first day of work, which was the next day, was quite wrinkly. The sales person took my garmet and began steaming the shirt! That gesture really helped me feel calmer and therefore more ready to start the job that next day. Thank you Eileen Fisher Berkeley!”

“As I company, I'm a big fan of T9. Love their brand, their products, their real-women athlete models. I had my first in-store experience in years when I came in to return something that I ordered online which didn't fit. The store did not disappoint. The associate who helped me was assisting others when I walked in, so I looked around for my replacement jumper. They didn't have it, but it was no problem. Within a few minutes, the T9 associate had processed my return, ordered another in the right size, and helped me order a pair of shorts I'd been eying in the catalogue (after trying on the size and deciding on a slightly different length and color). Both would get delivered to me at home for no delivery fee. I'm not sure how much the return and second delivery charges would have been, but I was happy to not find out. Now I'm so excited about my new summer jumper and shorts that will be coming soon!”

This is the brand's flagship and original store an I am a fan. This store is better stocked and more varied than the Palo Alto store. I found the Russian sales woman very smart, honest when some colours did not suit me and well informed about other brands that I may like. Bryn Walker is a wonderful brand.. not for the faint hearted.. oversized and timeless .. very distinctive and tres tres chic..”
