“Update 12/11/2023:Initially I gave 2 stars and changed to 4 stars today because the higher management personnel reached out to me. They helped resolve the issue with the move out charges. I was impressed by their prompt response and courtesy. As I initially wrote the apartments are genuinely nice and are conveniently located. My advice is to voice your complaints as a tenant because people in charge absolutely listen and are there to assist in fair resolution of any issues. Scheduling move out inspection allows to clarify move out charges beforehand.Initial review:Overall positive experience ruined at the end. I lived at this apartment complex for 1 year. The apartment was generally nice and reasonably priced.The location is great too. The apartments have smart locks. Smart locks get often jammed for no reason and an apartment may be left unlocked. The maintenance and the property management are absolutely horrible. Firstly, the maintenance staff are rude. They barge into the apartment without knocking or ringing the door bell. They do not remove their shoes nor use shoe covers. They enter every room they need without asking if there is anyone in there. That includes a bathroom and a bedroom. To top it off, the management charges exorbitant move out fees. Any small damage to the paint and they charge a tenant for the repaint of the entire apartment. Same goes for any small damage to the carpet. Accidents happen, I happened to knock over a cup of cafe latte in the bedroom, obviously it left a stain. The rude and maybe dishonest maintenance staff assessed the stain as pet damage which according to the management requires re-carpeting the entire unit. They do not care that I never had any pets. Eventually, the management took my deposit 400$ and on top of that sent me a bill for an additional 500$. I have a perfect credit/rental history and this is the first time I encountered such blatant dishonesty. My recommendation is to stay away from this place if you do not like unpleasant surprises. Even though the apartments are nice, the stress that dishonesty of the impudent management staff causes is not worth renting at this apartment complex.”

“I have been a long-time tenant at La Mesa Village Apartments and this review is long overdue. I am writing to thank Maritza, our property manager, and staff for doing such a great job maintaining our property. The landscaping is emaculate and our needs our met in a prompt manner. We have an inviting pool and hot tub on site, as well. A very comfortable place to live. Thank you. Patricia Powers”
“Kevin is the manager here and he is great . He has always took care of anything I have needed . The maintenance people are wonderful and always fix anything that I need as well . They all are so friendly. I just think the world of those guys . The only thing I would change is I wish they had guest parking and maybe special parking for long term residents. Lol . Kevin follows through when a complaint is made . Thank you sir.”
“When we were looking for an apartment, Bobbie was so patient and helpful. She followed up and answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns. She made the daunting process of finding a place to live very easy. Upon move-in, both her and Jessica have been nothing but professional. Everything is taken care of in a timely manner and we feel our voices are heard. This is what we look for when renting a place. The apartment itself is large, clean, comes with parking, safe and has a pool!”

“I highly recommend living at Ariel if you’re looking for a luxury apartment rental in the little italy area of downtown. The location is spectacular, as are the ocean views and new finishes in the units. The inside of the building and common areas are always very clean as well. Ivan and Isaiah were very helpful and professional with my wife and I throughout the leasing and move in process. Also Roberto in maintenance has been quick to address any concerns that we may have after move in, in order to be certain that our unit is perfect and up to our standards. Excellent staff, location, views and amenities, look no further!”

“Eitol Towers is more than an apartment, it's a lifestyle! The minute you step onto the property, you're greeted by the stunning, ultra-modern architecture. But it's not just about looks – my apartment has massive windows that flood the place with light and offer incredible city views. Plus, the private patio is like having my own outdoor oasis – perfect for entertaining with friends (and soaking up those San Diego sunsets!).And let's not forget the crown jewel – InsideOUT downstairs! It's become my go-to spot for delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. As part of the LGBT community, I especially love the welcoming and inclusive vibe at Eitol Towers. Live here if you want to enjoy a REAL community with character and uniqueness!”

“We just renewed our second year at Metro. This is by far one of the nicer apartment complexes in San Diego that’s remained at least somewhat affordable in comparison.
There was a management change about a month into our first lease and the new manager, Al has been so great at taking care of the property. Gustavo and Casey are also just wonderful and so willing to help anytime we need something!
My favorite things about this place:

The apartment spaces are huge! Big kitchens, big bedrooms and big bathrooms.
Washer and dryers are included in every unit.
There are several lounge/community spaces that we use to host guests often—including a rooftop deck with a fire pit.
Even though it’s close to the freeway the windows are triple-paned and it’s much quieter than I thought it would be.
Is it perfect? No. Is anything? We looked around before signing our second lease and we are very proud to still call Metro our home!”

“I have lived here for going on 3 years. No complaints as i just re signed my lease this last march. I love how you are central to everything in San Diego, as well as being very close to the freeway and lots of shopping (target, home goods, trader joes) my most favorite thing about promenade would be our landlord Shannon. She is very responsive, kind and accommodating. She has made my 3 years living here enjoyable which is very important living somewhere. The landlord usually makes or breaks your living situation but SHANNON IS 10/10 hands down one of the best landlords in san diego! thank you Promenade!”

“All the employees at Park 12 have gone above expectations, but I would like to say Brianna really pulls her weight. By far the most resourceful employee who can solve basically everything and has amazing communication skills. I truly admire her work ethic and does a phenomenal job balancing all task. Start to finish, she never missed a beat and is actually very sweet.”
