“If I could give this place 10 stars, then I would! My car that I loved was stolen, thrashed and recovered. It was quite an emotional roller coaster for me. I spoke to Wendy the day my car was recovered and she showed so much compassion towards me over the phone. She took care of my well being first, which is so rare these days. I had a similar experience when I went over to Uptown to check my car. Everyone in the shop showed empathy and compassion. It really felt as if they were my family. Hayli understood my needs and she listened to my frustrations. I cannot say enough about the humanity in this place. I will always be grateful to Uptown for making this horrible experience of having my car stolen bearable.”

“I’ve owned cars for a long time and had to inevitably deal with body work many times. As an auto enthusiast who wrenches on his own vehicles and details them himself, I’ve always been able to tell when body work has been done. That was until the last two times I’ve been to Ma’s. The most impressive work was on the back end of an old Mazda5 with color shifting paint. There were no differences in color or orange peel with the original paint.
What’s been even more amazing is the way they stick behind their work. They did another flawless looking repair to the rear hatch of an SUV, but there was some creaking noticed before the repair. It sounded better after the repair but got worse months later. They spent a significant amount of time trying to track down the noise to stand behind their work. I can finally stop my search for autobody repair shops!”

“Fixit Auto Body Shop is outstanding!!! My car had some deep chipped paint on the doors, and I needed them fixed asap before returning my vehicle to BMW. Not only did the owner took time to assess the damage, he detailed the process, timeline, and gave a more than fair estimate for the work. I accepted, brought the car in, and the shop even gave me a ride to the car rental place so I can get my rental car. My car was fixed a full day ahead of schedule and look IMMACULATE when I went to pick it up. The shop even cleaned my car for me, and it truly looked brand new!!! Now we are suddenly sad about returning our leased car back to bmw because it looked SO GOOD! We would totally recommend Fixit to everyone we know, and we look forward to bringing in our other cars in the future! THANK YOU!!!”

“I scraped my car really bad while staying the weekend in SF and needed the car repaired quickly as I was leaving the city the day after. They quoted me and originally said it would take 2-4 days, but when I told them my situation they said they could get it to me by the next day and quickly started working on my car. I brought my car in Saturday morning, and they repaired the damage by afternoon the next day, which means they came in to work on it even on their day off. The car looked brand new, and they even fixed some previous scratches I had on my car for free. “I had an excellent experience with Musa and the team at SMT Auto Repair in San Mateo. I brought my Mercedes Benz in to have a damaged bumper repaired and was extremely pleased with their professionalism, prompt service, and attention to detail.

“If there were 15 stars, I'd easily give them. Les is a) incredibly knowledgeable about every car from the 15 year old Escape to the minivan to the vintage, b) so practical in that he asks what you want to get out of your vehicle vs trying to make it perfect regardless of the life left in the vehicle, and c) kind and personal. They are also very reasonable on cost, but I'd pay almost anything for the way I was treated.”
“I cannot recommend Fix It Auto in San Francisco enough. I recently brought my 2014 Tesla Model S in for service, and the experience was top-tier from start to finish.
The customer service here is easily 110%. Even when a few unforeseen issues popped up after the initial repair, the team didn't just walk away—they stepped up. They worked directly with my insurance provider, AAA, to ensure everything was handled properly and that my car was brought back to the condition it should be in. It’s rare to find a shop that stands by their work with this level of accountability and dedication.
While they had my Model S, they also performed an inspection on our 2020 Tesla Model X. My wife dropped off both vehicles, and she couldn't stop talking about how courteous and professional the team was throughout the entire process.

I was so frustrated with my car accident situation that I vented a bit to one of the Alioto's staff (Chiara), and they listened compassionately, and even added some advice around how to handle the insurance and claim. The repairs came out amazing. The paint match and finish look great, everything lines up properly, and the car looks like nothing ever happened. They also thoroughly inspected the vehicle, found additional damage, and handled the supplemental repairs directly with GEICO, which made everything much easier for me.
