“Although my aftermarket Miata wheels were too small for Agundis to balance, the staff were incredibly friendly, determined, and accommodating. When the second tech couldn't get it to cooperate, he came into the lobby with his adapter and my wheel to show *why* it didn't work. “I recently moved back to San Francisco from Sonoma County and there is no Subaru dealership in the City. I’m old school- used to going to a dealership for maintenance. I found Pat’s on the Internet and went in just to check them out. Forrest spent time with me asking questions about my car history and explaining their service program.
Just had my first appointment in which they did basic maintenance and a complete safety check of all my systems. “I had an excellent experience with Automotive Collision Repair. I brought in my 2020 Audi RS3 after it was hit, and the entire process from beginning to end was smooth and professional.

Adam did an amazing job throughout the entire process. He was helpful, professional, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was taken care of properly. I really appreciated the communication and attention to detail.

The repairs came out amazing. The paint match and finish look great, everything lines up properly, and the car looks like nothing ever happened. They also thoroughly inspected the vehicle, found additional damage, and handled the supplemental repairs directly with GEICO, which made everything much easier for me.

“These guys are the best! I have a 2013 Fiat Abarth that I love. They did a clutch replacement for me. Very professional, was able to schedule it and pick it up whey they said. I had also ask them to take a closer look at some other issues I was concerned with - clearly found everything and fix it (even when parts are hard to get) and now my car runs better than it has EVER run (it had 120k miles!). Al showed me every part they replace and explained exactly what they did. Last thing, I live in Vallejo so I was wondering if it would eat up too much travel time. These guys are close to BART (easy trip to airport to pick up a rent) which made everything easy and, if you can believe it, fun! I am definitely taking my favorite car back to them!!!!”

“I’ve owned cars for a long time and had to inevitably deal with body work many times. As an auto enthusiast who wrenches on his own vehicles and details them himself, I’ve always been able to tell when body work has been done. That was until the last two times I’ve been to Ma’s. The most impressive work was on the back end of an old Mazda5 with color shifting paint. There were no differences in color or orange peel with the original paint.

What’s been even more amazing is the way they stick behind their work. They did another flawless looking repair to the rear hatch of an SUV, but there was some creaking noticed before the repair. It sounded better after the repair but got worse months later. They spent a significant amount of time trying to track down the noise to stand behind their work. I can finally stop my search for autobody repair shops!”

From oil changes, tires, brake pads + rotors, and preventative maintenance — this shop has provided exceptional service since the time I started going there (1.5 years ago).

All the mechanics are quick, efficient, and very professional in every aspect when it comes to servicing vehicles. In addition, Ping is very well-versed in explaining exactly what the mechanics will be performing on your vehicle; as well as offering an honest suggestion on whether or not something actually needs to be serviced (a lot of shops do not have this kind of morale and are just trying to make money off of you).

The overall vibe/essence of this service station exudes a light, happy, and most importantly professional atmosphere where all the mechanics act urgently to resolve your issues. You truly feel taken care of here. I full-heartedly recommend this amazing shop to anyone who’s looking to get their car tuned-up/fixed/serviced.

I first came here with my 2007 Acura RDX a few months ago when it had trouble starting occasionally. I pulled in with no appointment on a Saturday and Brian was able to immediately diagnose the issue as a failing starter and got it fixed that day. I haven't heard the car start like it does now in years!

I recently started getting an intermittent check emissions system light while driving on cruise control. I'm relatively new to the area, and at this point hadn't found a shop for regular maintenance. I made the mistake of taking the car to a different shop in Berkeley that was supposed to specialize in Hondas and Acuras, and they pulled the error code, measured the boost pressure, and concluded that I needed a $14k turbo replacement. From browsing forums online and seeing similar problems in the same model of the same age, I asked about other potential causes (cheaper repairs like a faulty sensor/wastegate actuator/or leak somewhere) and whether they ruled those out. This other shop kept pointing to error code and told me that it wasn't necessary to rule out other reasons. At $14k, I was ready to give up on this car. I'm so glad I took it to Brian for a second opinion.

He did a thorough inspection and ruled out all of the external causes for the error code and low boost pressure and explained the findings to me plainly. He gave me a quote of $3k for installing a new turbo, which I was more than happy to pay for a car that I don't use frequently- much better than the hassle of trying to find a new car. He also fixed a few other issues that I brought up with my shocks + oil filter housing with a fair price for both. The car sounds and drives amazing now. Thank you so much, Brian!”

[Wally?] the owner diagnosed the problem as likely a small leak. He recommended an A/C charge that would likely last a few years over expensive replacement parts.

AC worked great!! I did not realiize how poorly my A/C was working. And he completed the work in several hours on a Saturday. Highly recommend.”
