“Apologies for the long review,
after living at 300 Railway Apartments for a year and a half, I have nothing but great things to say. This place truly feels like home—clean, organized, and incredibly safe. The location is unbeatable, close to downtown, and the neighbors create such a welcoming atmosphere.

Brenda, the leasing office manager, is a real gem. She’s not just professional but also incredibly kind and treats residents like family. Any maintenance requests I've had have been fixed faster than I could expect. The pool area is always clean, and there’s a fresh, pleasant smell throughout the building.

In the year and a half I’ve lived here, I’ve never had a single complaint. Everything has been smooth, from the apartment itself to the management. I can confidently say that 300 Railway is one of the best places to live, and Brenda plays a huge part in that.

“My time at campbell plaza was nothing but positive. Lorna is the sweetest and friendliest staff member. She was always nothing short of attentive and made me feel like she really cared to help assist me. Overall the leasing staff is helpful and makes the leasing process smooth and easy. Incredibly happy to have called campbell plaza my home!”

“Living in this neighborhood for 4 years and the experience was truly exceptional. Good location, quiet surroundings, great leasing office team (shout out to the great maintenance team and onsite team. Mae helped a lot!) Parking spot is easy to find. Room is spacious. The renovated units are GREAT. Can’t speak much downside about the place. Moving out because of my work changes. Will miss my old unit :(
P.S: The last 2 months utility fee will be charged after you move out so pay attention to ur account balance or you’ll be charged for late fee”

“Emily was an absolute pleasure to work with during our tour of Mission Pointe by Windsor. From the moment we arrived, her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. She clearly knows the property inside and out and made the entire experience feel personal rather than just a sales walkthrough.

She was attentive, answered every question we had, and followed up promptly afterward, which really stood out. Ultimately, we decided the unit sizes and storage options weren't quite the right fit for our needs, but that had nothing to do with Emily's effort ; she went above and beyond at every step.

If you're considering Mission Pointe, ask for Emily. Even if the property isn't your final choice, you'll leave feeling well-informed and genuinely taken care of.”

“Overall i had good experience. Rules are not enforced so you can do anything. There is no leasing or management on site. Every month or two you will get email reminding about rules but again not enforced mostly scare tactic. Maintenance was very good, Mr. Kevin helped with many issues, was very timely and friendly. They just do fresh paint on outside so apartments look very good. If u cannot handle loud noise from neighbor then maybe not for u but im originally from india and this was normal for me.”

The complaint:
My husband showed up at residence office and said “I’m a new resident here, so I don’t know how this works —“ and asked a few questions on code for food delivery and guests. And he asked if first floor was for guest parking. We were just told “yes , first floor and at the roof”

We were given zero details that numbered parking spaces are NOT for guest even in first floor. And we should only look out for parking spaces labeled as “guest”.

Unfortunately our guests car got towed and as expected we were stressed & paid a 295$ fine to retrieve the car.

I’m extremely disappointed that no details were given to us and actually wrong information was given to us. I would be surprised if we are the first residents to face this situation.

Actually I couldn’t find a single parking labelled as “GUEST” in ground floor in our bldg. So, the information we were given was actually WRONG.

I hope Santa Clara square can provide better details #1. During move in or #2 provide better and more detailed response when new residents ask a question

Please do better than this. And escalate my request to Irvine management. Extremely disappointed in your services as a new resident.”

“Carlyle has been my home for years. I am very pleased with the community and apartment services. It is quiet and safe community, with really good apartment maintenance and overall quality.

In particular, the maintenance team is very skilled and nice. They will ensure a diligent service and resolve the issues promptly and to full satisfaction. Over the years, I have not worried about maintenance issues. Recently Victor in maintenance team fixed issue with kitchen water tap (above and beyond!) which prompted me to write this review today. Very happy to be here.”

Maintenance constantly proves to be courteous, knowledgeable, & professional with their service calls. One example just recently, I put in a service quest for our shower & a kitchen cabinet door. Juan from the maintenance crew called, set up a time to complete the service request & completed the work quickly & efficiently. I appreciate the level of professionalism Juan, and the entire maintenance team, has shown over the years I have lived here. Thank You ??”

“It’s great to see the property modernizing the facilities. The new gate access through the app is convenient and works well, and they’ve also recently reflattened the patio pavement. The staff is really attentive and responsive, which I genuinely appreciate. The main downside has been neighbors smoking, which has impacted the day-to-day living experience (and I’ve seen other reviewers mention the same issue).”

“Lived here for a little over two years and absolutely loved it. Being next to Eagle Park was perfect for our dog, who also liked to people watch from the balcony. The proximity to downtown Mountain View is also great.

Another bonus is that the front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. Really went above and beyond to make sure our experience there was nice.

“We've lived here comfortably and pretty safely for 3 years.

As others have pointed out, Ray on the maintenance team keeps this place running smooth! He's always prompt, professional, kind and friendly. He will fix whatever problem has presented itself AND take the time to say hi to your dog. Things malfunction, it's a normal part of a home. But Ray gets things back to working order quickly- even if it's a weekend. I can't imagine this place without him here!

Despite others' complaints, the rent here seems on par for the area. It was sort of mid-range when we moved in. Spacious storage wise and parking wise. Our unit was renovated before we moved in and it has held up relatively well. We had a small number of ants once. The complex has pest control here weekly anyway and they came by and took care of it the next day. Haven't seen an ant since.

The noise of renovations around the complex can be loud especially if you're near one of the large dumpsters they fill and empty almost daily. There's also debris around these dumpsters constantly (broken glass etc) But it is something we were warned about before moving in. They tried to start tossing things into the dumpster around 7am one weekend but all it took was me standing in my doorway, telling them it was too early and they left.

Our catalytic converter was stolen from our spot in the parking lot over night once but I know that's a common thing. If packages are left outside the mailbox they will be stolen. The mailboxes themselves have been broken into a couple times too. But Justin at the leasing office holds packages for us now! He'll also come pick up a package from your door and hold onto it for you if you're away. Super friendly guy. Always around to answer questions and help out. We did install home security cameras etc for peace of mind but I dunno, I think that's just par for being in the bay. We've felt generally pretty safe here. I think it might have something to do with our unit being further away from El Camino and more nestled into the subdivision, but who knows.

The neighbours & staff are friendly, there's a nice park nearby, the place is very dog friendly (except no pets allowed in the common area which kind of sucks...) but it's close to work and the climbing gym.. if we've gotta be in the bay this place is good enough for us.”

“I have lived here for the last two years and am leaving due to other reasons. However, this place is absolutely the best. Everyone working there is so kind, so welcoming, and really works hard to make this place feel like your home. This is largely due to the incredible staff that works at this property, including everyone in maintenance, and everyone working in the leasing office. The units are beautiful, parking is flexible and it is straightforward to acquire additional slots for a reasonable additional charge (which is extremely difficult at other apartments) which worked great for 3 professionals living in an apartment with separate jobs and each having our own cars. This apartment is secure, it is beautiful, and it was an absolute pleasure spending the last two years here. If you are thinking about living here, you won't regret it.”

“Podium style apartment building with basement parking. Nice amenities - workout room, office room with wifi, recreation room and lighted open commons area with fireplace, pet salon. Walking distance from sunnyvale downtown, target, amc, whole foods, trader joe's, etc.”

“Steven at the reception desk was wonderfully helpful. We’d stayed at the complex last year and had forgotten to update our delivery address. He was able to swiftly and very efficiently solve our problem and help us avoiding some sentimentally important deliveries! Thank you team!”

“5 days ago, I moved into a nice studio apartment. The grounds were clean and secure. The staff members, Daysy, Dan. Betina, and TJ were all very friendly helpful ,and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to lounging by the pool and grilling some great meals on the large gas grills in the pool area. Im very glad my dog likes it here too.”

“Had been living here for over 5 years and it's a pleasure to live here. The leasing office here is very responsible and nice. The neightbood is nice and the location is pretty good. Two blocks away from 101 and 1 mile from MTV downtown and you could just walk to safeway.”

“I stayed in this apartment community for seven months, and my experience was genuinely pleasant. The manager, Anupama, is kind, responsive, and very helpful. The maintenance technician, Cesar, is reliable and available whenever needed.

The location is another strong plus—easy walking distance to a grocery store and a 24/7 gym. I would definitely stay here again if I get the opportunity.”

The staff Julie and Maria are the best I have ever met.
They are puncture, friendly, and most importantly help to solve the problems(so professional, especially responde to emails quickly to solve problems).

Fore sure the buildings are not new or fancy, but the quietness, location and the nearby part worth much more than the price.
I have to move out for personal reasons, and maybe come back in the future.”

I recently had a stressful situation where USPS made an error and left my package in an Amazon locker without associating it to my unit. What made it even more nerve-wracking was that the package contained an important immigration document that I urgently needed.

Vincent and the apartment management team went above and beyond to help me track down and retrieve my mail. Their responsiveness, patience, and genuine care in resolving what was entirely USPS's fault truly impressed me. They turned a very anxious situation into a smooth resolution, and I cannot thank them enough.

It is rare to find a management team that is this dedicated to their residents' well-being. Vincent, thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism -- especially knowing I had a trip coming up and needed this resolved quickly.
