“We love staying in Home2Suites when we travel. The Carlsbad location was great. It's clean from the lobby to our rooms. We didn't hear any outside noise. There was some heavy feet staying above us though. This is a great stay for families or couples. The large room and kitchenette make an extended stay very comfortable.”

“Amazing place! Can't get a better view. Right on the beach literally. Loved the staff, rooms and the included petite breakfast was delicious. Pool was heated and clean. Beach valet was attentive. They have a pillow menu! Only downside is you can't use the amenities until you actually have a room but they were able to check us in a few hours before regular check in. Can't wait to go back!”

“I love this hotel. Stayed for 1 night and the room was clean, beds set up real nicely, and the bathroom was very fancy. Went to sleep on one of the very comfy beds and was overall a great night. To finish the experience, we had a yummy free breakfast at their buffet. Easy parking, nice staff, and little store full of snacks! This place easily gets 5 stars.”
“It an incredible Carlsbad beach spot. We sat here at the top of the stairs with the wind blowing and the sun shining 3 1/2 hours later we realized we were burnt!”

“We reserved a room block at this hotel for our wedding this fall. All of our guests who stayed were very happy with the hotel and commented on how nice the staff was. Destonie, the sales manager, was the one who helped with getting the room block and she was so kind and responsive with any questions we had. She also went above and beyond by letting me use the conference room to do hair and makeup with my bridesmaids and she even left balloons, flowers, and a card for me the morning of! Would highly recommend working with this hotel/staying here!”

“We love coming here! One of our favorite places to stay. The food, and the service is incredible. We love the pools and workout rooms too. We’ve come spring break and several times during Christmas break- it has never felt crowded. Which is one of our favorites about this place. A true getaway. We will keep coming back. Don’t love all four season but this one is awesome.”
“Beautiful city and this hotel was absolutely on point. The rooms are cozy, and have the amenities you need. Full refrigerator and freezer with stove top and dish washer. The continental breakfast is everyday, which is beyond convenient for the business person on a tight schedule. Plus you're off the strip on downtown so there is no pile up or traffic. I highly recommend. I have a few cons but they aren't even worth posting compared to the pros!”

“We loved our stay at the legoland hotel. location was super convenient, lots of hidden surprises around the hotel. The elevators were also a surprise and great every time. The restaurants required a reservation, but I booked breakfast everyday the first day we arrived so there wasnt an issue there. We tried both the bricks and castle restaurants for dinner both were good. Everywhere is a dance party, and the staff did events every night from bingo to dancing to story telling. It was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids alike. We ended up using valet parking because it was easy. All the models throughout the hotel were amazing. The pirate ship play area was perfect to spend time in before the park opened. Our kids completed the scavenger hunt the very first night and the pool is heated! but only open till 7.”

There is a Wi-Fi, but disconnected in less than a minute. It is annoying. Parking is free.
Staff is not friendly.”

“Best place I've stayed for a long time. Full fridge microwave, stove... even a roll of paper towels in the room. Family vacation to legoland was super easy. Kids want left over pizza from dinner, oh its in the fridge, aw greesy fingers, here are the paper towels. Super convenient!!!”

“We used the passport website. Just to utilize the jacuzzi and pools for the day. It was a beautiful Tuesday.Hardly anyone there.It was very relaxing and Is tranquil serene day. It was the adult pool area. It felt intimate but very relaxing.Food & drinks: There was pool side menu with cocktails. I had a cold beer.”
“Had the most wonderful stay at this property! The service is impeccable, everyone at the front desk is very friendly and welcoming; specifically Andrew A; he was very attentive and helped guide me through the process of extending my stay, even though it was 6am!! I enjoyed this hotel so much I decided to extend my room. the location is fantastic, you overlook the ocean, right on sunset cliff and the staff is friendly and always helpful with whatever your needs are for your stay.”

“The bedrooms were lovely and spacious with very comfortable beds. The pool was a moderate size and the spa was a lovely temperature. Gym had limited appliances but was still good and cool. Lovely place to stay, staff were also very friendly.”
“Very nice big room clean. There was a little confusion at check in about using a different CC and not being able to get the points. Also I'm waiting for $155 charge to drop off from first day reserving room on line. Not sure why it's not dropping off I was told it would. It's been on there for 3 days and we need the money.
Continental breakfast was juice and a packaged danish. I was expecting just a little more, maybe yogurt, banana, just these little danishes.
Overall I would give the whole thing four stars. And I'm really hoping that my points transfer over from one person to another because we used a different credit card when we got here, different name. The front desk girl on day 2 told me that it would transfer over cuz she went ahead and signed me up for points. So hopefully that works out.
The rooms are really nice though we think. Staff pretty nice too.
Rooms: Nice big clean room. Pool.
Nearby activities: Beach very close an easy access parking.
Safety: Parking is right close to the motel. Seems safe. We had no probs.
Walkability: Pretty much in a residential area and right next to fwy.
Wasn't too loud from fwy noise at night though. Fwy got quiet early in evening.
Food and drinks: Tons of restaurants very close by. Very close to the beach so there's restaurants everywhere. Also grocery stores so you can eat in your room like we did!
Noteworthy details: Nice staff. Helpful.”

“The room was exactly what we needed. 2 adults spending the night after being at the beach all day. AC unit worked , bedding was clean and comfortable , shower was clean . Towels and soap provided . There was no shampoo but soap was fine for us. Cable channels including HBO. We had a smoking room on the 1st floor. Fridge and microwave in the room as well . Not sure if all room come w/micro fridge but the 2 beds smoking room did. It was a quiet night , very restful evening and affordable stay . My experience was very positive .”

“Everything is a good our better than described. A beautiful view of the garden from our Laguna room, peaceful, quiet, wonderful roof top patio, gorgeous flowers everywhere, loved the comfortable bed, the relaxing fireplace was most enjoyable and the very easy check in and out, so much better than a big busy crowded hotel. I wish we could come back much sooner.”
