“My family and I were here on a 7-day vacation to the area. We had a nice view of the ocean. We could also watch the people paragliding on the beach. Rooms were great. All the benefits of home comforts. Everything you need to make meals if you want. It's better than a hotel. Would suggest they upgrade dishwashers, but they got the job done. Staff is ready to address any issue. Nice amenities of hosting bon fires. Get there early to get a chair. We would stay here again.”

“It's a great place to stay whenever you are visiting Sunset State Beach. It is kid friendly. They have a pool for kids to enjoy which closes at 10pm everyday. They serve breakfast from 6am-10am.”

“Oh Captain, my Captain! Moss Landing is such a hidden treasure, and this was an amazing way to spend the night! The view, the soaking tub, the bed, the decorations, the viewing deck... it was all wonderful to experience! Watching the birds and the otters in the Slough was spectacular! It was quiet and people were respectful of the quiet times. The tub filled up and the water was so hot the entire time. The bed was a little hard, but I slept like a rock!
The Innkeeper was delightful, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area! The snacks, treats, and beverages that were available in the common room were great options. I cannot wait to come back to this place again!”
“Had a Wonderful stay, was greeted by a friendly gentleman named Sean who assisted with check in, he was warm and welcoming and made us really enjoy the rest of our stay.

“Massive room!
We had 2 kings and a pull out couch. One of the beds was in a separate room, unexpected but loved it. All staff we dealt with were kind and helpful. Location was close to everything we wanted to visit.”
“Pros: Welcoming front! Clean and modern! Check-in process was quick and the receptionist was very helpful and polite! Breakfast area was clean and tidy! Good breakfast buffet aligned with Holiday Inn Express standard!
Cons: The only complaint is the deceptive amenities advertised about the indoor swimming pool and pictures on all booking websites. The reception said it’s been closed and locked for six months with no updates. I visited Point Lobos Nature Reserve which I could have picked another closer IHG hotel with pool to relax after long hikes!”
“My wife and I stayed here last weekend. She loved the decore , we loved the hottub and it is located very central to everywhere we wanted to be.
That alone would earn them a 5 star review HOWEVER I left my 49ers watch hanging on the lamp! I can't believe I did that.
They text me and let me know when I was already on my way home. I figured I would have to drive back the next weekend.
The very next day they reminded me and also offered to mail it.
It cost me $9.75 (what the post office charged) and sent it :)
Starting with the housekeeper that found it and didn't keep it to the the office staff and manager that mailed it I feel they went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty to help me out.
My wife and I will definitely be staying here again!!!

“This is a convenient location near the freeway and fast food. It's a good location because it's very close to Monterey without the higher cost. The nice gentleman at the front desk upgraded our room to a lovely suite which looks brand new. It is pretty quiet. Unfortunately breakfast was not great. There are plenty of options but the scrambled eggs and sausage were both pretty dry.”

“The man who checked us in was very kind and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy. We were sooo excited when we went to check out and we were given a special complimentary to go breakfast !! All of the staff were very sweet and it was cool to have access to a gas station right outside of our motel. Perfect place to stay during our travels. :)”

“Had a short stay here while visiting in town to see the aquarium.The room was nicer than expected. It was clean, and the layout was great. I loved the balcony.The staff was really nice and we didn't have any issues during our one night stay.Rooms: Spacious, had a balcony. We stayed in a suite with two beds and a fold out couch.”

“The wife and I spent a night at the Comfort Inn in Marina while on a quick trip to Monterey. The property was just off the freeway, with a Denny’s around the corner,
across the street from a Walmart, and less than 2 minutes to the ocean at the end of Reservation Road. Room was large, comfortable, and fairly quiet. We found the beds and pillows to be great to us, and the hot breakfast to have plenty of options to choose from. The price was about average compared to other Comfort Inns we have stayed in this year, and though pricier than some of the motels in Monterey, it was a good place for us.”

“The only reason I give 4 stars is because we got 1 washcloth and had a king size bed (2 adults, no kids, no pets). But I always bring a few extra washcloths from home when I travel. Room was clean, cost is better than the franchise hotels. I like being able to park right outside my room, and have free parking and also no "resort fee"!!! We have stayed here in years past and hope the place is still in business when we come back to the area in a few years.”
“Nice little place. The rooms were clean. Bed comfortable. Good shower. Staff friendly. It was actually a pretty quiet place being right next to the highway and a truck stop. Also, it's pretty secure. One way in and out. My only complaint was the TV. Only 3 channels had volume. For some reason, the other channels audio was muted. Not a deal breaker. Too tired to care.”

“Great value. For the price, I could not hope for better. I had nothing to complain about. It is a good Motel 6. I was quiet, enough confortable. Good room temperature, no specific smell. I spent the night before in a way worse motel for the same price. I recommand this place.”

“I always want to buy everything here!It’s a one-stop store because they have boots, tons of Ariat jackets (more than the Ariat store ) , jeans, shirts, belts and lots of hats.The staff are friendly, they greet me and ohelped me find an outfit for my husband that would match my dress. Really patient and helped me find the correct boot size for my kids and me (first time buying them boots)Overall we bought an outfit for everyone and will come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I've stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and I've always had a positive experience. The rooms have lots of accessible outlets for electronics if you're a busy traveler. The rooms are generally quiet, but if you prefer to keep the window open for fresh air you'll hear some mild road noise. Towels in the bathroom are a bit on the thin side but serviceable and the shower had good water pressure. The free breakfast in the morning is okay, there is a waffle maker and some packaged breakfast sandwiches and danishes.”

“This hotel was such a pleasant place to stay! We have been staying at a few Hamptons and some Hiltons on a California coast trip. This hotel was new or remodeled; it was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, cereal, and a self-serve waffle bar. The coffee/ team counter was clean with hot coffee and water. The staff went out of their way with polite customer service. They even had to go bags for guests that needed to leave quickly in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Salinas.”

“I loved this hotel ! It’s a great price and the front desk is great too! They gave my key card fast ! I had no problems! When I went to the mall ! And came back my room was cleaned ! The room is very simple and it has a very clean tub ! The only problem I had was the sheets but they were super nice and changed them ! Im willing to book with you guys again !

“I was in room 103, the 1st morning was Glorious! So much Fog!! I fell in love with Country Inn. I was an Evacuee from the 800 Casanova ave Building fire. The Staff & service was outstanding.

“For 100 bucks the room in my opinion was great . Clean, no orders, no carpet, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, those people there show that they take care of there motel . Unlike some of the places you wouldn't let a roach sleep there . Get this as well, they have soft water ! I was shocked when I saw that . So that's another plus . Sleep there its a nice place. Negative reviews ? Some people will just complain to complain .”
