Alleve Animal Hospital
562 E Baseline Rd, ClaremontI went in for a second opinion for my cat and ended up finding the best animal hospital doctor I’ve ever met. Dr. B took his time and walked me through everything. diet, pollen, ticks, fleas, and even how something as simple as cats sharing a food dish (when they’re on different diets) can trigger allergies. I had no idea how many small factors could be affecting my cat, and he explained it all so clearly and patiently.
We spent about an hour going over options, and what really stood out was how honest and reasonable he was. He said if it were his own cat, he would start with the simple, affordable solutions before jumping into something expensive like a dermatologist. That level of transparency and care is rare.
You can genuinely tell he cares about animals and about helping pet owners feel informed, not rushed or pressured. I walked out an hour and a half later with so much more knowledge and peace of mind, and the visit was only $30.
I won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend Dr. B to anyone who wants a vet that truly listens, educates, and puts your pet first.

The Well Dog Place is
3628 Lynoak Dr #108, ClaremontIn March 2023, my dog Chico was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (cancer). The traditional veterinarian wanted to do an invasive spinal cord procedure as well as chemotherapy. Not only had I already spent $13,000, but it would’ve cost me a lot. I decided to try natural remedies first and that’s when I found Dr Tudor. He gave me 6 different tinctures- which I thought was a lot. Turns out, a few drops of each was all it took for the cancer to be in remission a year later! My dog is cancer free and thriving. He’s in no pain and was back to his same self after a few weeks. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Dr Tudor. I have the upmost respect and recommendation of him.

Ironbark Ciderworks
1420 N Claremont Blvd, ClaremontMy fiancé and I just left Ironbark and we both agreed we absolutely loved Jim and wish him nothing but the best in life.
We came in without any expectations, just trying somewhere new, and ended up having such a meaningful experience. Jim didn’t know what we’re going through and we didn’t know his story either but somehow our paths crossed at the right moment.
Between the great conversation and the really good ciders, it was exactly what we needed to reset our week and walk away with a fresh perspective.
Thank you Jim And Ironbark Ciderworks!

Lucky's Coffee Roasters
665 E Foothill Blvd Ste B, ClaremontCafe hopped in the IE with my sister today.
Parking: There’s a med/large parking lot. Free parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy.
Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating. They have two rooms - one for studying and the other for social. It’s very clean inside. Great spot to get some work done or even chill. They also sell their own beans! All merchandise are located in the main room!
Service: The cashier that assisted us was nice and personable. Throughput was quick after ordering.
Drinks: I decided to try their seasonal drinks for the summer, and my sister decided to try their stable drinks.
1) Bonfire Mocha - This mocha contains house made marshmallow syrup, cocoa powder, crush honey graham crackers, milk, and topped with a marshmallow cream top. It’s definitely sweet with rich chocolate and marshmallow flavors. You can definitely taste all the ingredients described. I prefer the marshmallow cream top to be a bit thicker, considering it is marshmallow after all.
2) Chai Latte - My sister thought her drink was okay. Mind you, this is her first time trying chai lol. I took a sip of her drink, and the cinnamon and cardamom flavors were strong. It’s a bit sweeter than I prefer, but it can always be adjusted.
Pricing: A bit more than average. They offer rewards through Cash App. I’d visit once in a while to try their other drinks and pastries.

Dr. Grubb's
373 W Bonita Ave, ClaremontStopped here off the highway for a quick lunch on a roadtrip. This place is amazing for a meal that’s not too filling and leaves you satisfied. Portion sizes are giant for the price! I had the grilled salmon with penne pasta and a salad and it was delicious. The salmon is thin cut. This was a perfect meal for us that wasn’t too heavy. The salad was super refreshing and the dressing was tasty. There’s a tiny parking lot in back if you’re lucky. Be prepared to street park.
