Alleve Animal Hospital
562 E Baseline Rd, ClaremontI went in for a second opinion for my cat and ended up finding the best animal hospital doctor I’ve ever met. Dr. B took his time and walked me through everything. diet, pollen, ticks, fleas, and even how something as simple as cats sharing a food dish (when they’re on different diets) can trigger allergies. I had no idea how many small factors could be affecting my cat, and he explained it all so clearly and patiently.
We spent about an hour going over options, and what really stood out was how honest and reasonable he was. He said if it were his own cat, he would start with the simple, affordable solutions before jumping into something expensive like a dermatologist. That level of transparency and care is rare.
You can genuinely tell he cares about animals and about helping pet owners feel informed, not rushed or pressured. I walked out an hour and a half later with so much more knowledge and peace of mind, and the visit was only $30.
I won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend Dr. B to anyone who wants a vet that truly listens, educates, and puts your pet first.

3628 Lynoak Dr #108, ClaremontIn March 2023, my dog Chico was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (cancer). The traditional veterinarian wanted to do an invasive spinal cord procedure as well as chemotherapy. Not only had I already spent $13,000, but it would’ve cost me a lot. I decided to try natural remedies first and that’s when I found Dr Tudor. He gave me 6 different tinctures- which I thought was a lot. Turns out, a few drops of each was all it took for the cancer to be in remission a year later! My dog is cancer free and thriving. He’s in no pain and was back to his same self after a few weeks. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Dr Tudor. I have the upmost respect and recommendation of him.

865 S Indian Hill Blvd, ClaremontStopped here for lunch today, I had no idea they had just opened one in Claremont. The food was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but not bad either and the slushee was ice cold and refreshing. The interior is very modern with some cool artwork. They have some kiosks and a counter for ordering. Leilani had such good energy and delivered excellent service. I'll definitely be dropping by again when I'm craving some hot chicken!

We came in without any expectations, just trying somewhere new, and ended up having such a meaningful experience. Jim didn’t know what we’re going through and we didn’t know his story either but somehow our paths crossed at the right moment.
Between the great conversation and the really good ciders, it was exactly what we needed to reset our week and walk away with a fresh perspective.

The drinks are made well and right in front of you when you order. There is free wifi and plenty of seating (when it is not overflowing with customers already, of course). The best part: you get your drink right after you order. No awkwardly standing on the side while you wait for your drink to be done. The only wait time is the time you wait in line. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice place to try and not be disappointed ;) (NOTE: it can get really busy so just be aware!)

425 W Foothill Blvd, ClaremontMy family stumbled across Aladdin yesterday tucked away by Trader Joe’s. The shop is slightly run down but we were welcomed in by Wally who treated us like his most beloved children who he needed to feed with love and care. We had excellent menu suggestions and when we ordered the empanadas he insisted we try all the kinds and threw in an extra. The beef and chicken empanadas were the clear winners with the beef delicately spiced. My daughter had the falafel which was crispy and delicious. My husband I both had the chicken kebabs which had been long-marinated and came out golden and perfectly cooked. Wally didn’t want us to miss the chicken shawarma so he piled some of that on our meals, as well. Also tender and golden and perfect. Each meal came with exquisitely creamy homemade hummus and basmati rice. The grilled peppers were charred and smoky and like something out of the most expensive Middle Eastern restaurant you’ve ever eaten at. I’d go back just for those. I ordered the tzatziki as one of my sides and it was cool, creamy and full of dill and crispy cucumber. The pita was excellent on the side. I won’t forget this restaurant visit for a long time. I left well fed with the excellent food, but even more so feeling like I’d just been fed by an old friend.

This wasn't a problem for me but my friend, who is less tech friendly, couldn't function with the barcode so she was grudgingly given an outdated menu. I had a tart apple drink that was delicious!
