This animal hospital has the feel of a small town vet but has access to all the modern high tech services one could need. It is a small place, almost cozy, so there is never a lot of people waiting. I really like the vet, too.

I was unhappy with our precious veterinarian so when my elderly pup got injured I panicked at the thought of having to return with him but I had not one but two people in the veterinary industry recommend this clinic. The front desk staff is so kind and gentle and always friendly but above all, when I had hard decisions to make about my pup who's health was declining, Dr, White took the time to sit with me and allow me to go through many emotions while he gracefully helped me figure out a plan for us. He is patient and his bedside manner is absolutely wonderful. Cannot thank him and his staff enough. Truly. We received text messages asking about our pup and check ins between hard appointments. If you're looking for a new doctor for your beloved fur baby, look no further. I drove 30 mins each way to this clinic to ensure I felt comfortable. I trust these doctors with all my beloved pets.

This beautiful German Shepherd mix came to us with a serious case of PTSD — he was so leash-reactive and anxious that we had a really hard time taking him out for even the shortest walks. Kevin used his extensive understanding of dog psychology to teach us how to effectively communicate with an anxious dog, with the goal of building confidence in us humans, as well as in our pup. We look forward to continuing to benefit from Kevin’s calm, guiding presence and innate sense of canine behavior.

1204 Foothill Blvd, La VerneMy brother took me and my husband out for my birthday. I got to pick the restaurant. I picked The Grill House because it had more positive reviews than anywhere else. We were not disappointed. My husband had the chicken skewer plate. I had the falafel bowl. My brother had the kafta wrap. They were all great and the portions left is all full. The yellow rice was flavorful. The falafel was hot and crunchy. My brother didn't talk until he finished his wrap. The iced tea was good, too. It was lunch and we all got the reasonably priced lunch specials. We'll be back before my next birthday. After all, it's only .1 miles away from my house.

I ordered eggsactly and it’s amazingly good! The waffle is fluffy and the bacon has great balance in flavor and texture.
It feels great sitting outside. I was so satisfied. Will definitely come back when I visit LA next time.

2326 D St, La VerneThere's a ritual I do whenever I order a two or three egg classic breakfast where I leave the up easy eggs for last, combine them with a good pile of hash browns, and some of the meat. And then I just mix them up for the last five to eight bites. It's heavenly, combining the best parts of the breakfast into a mash that is more delicious than its individual components. I call it the Grand Finale. And I've done it all across the country in dozens of cities in hundreds of restaurants for decades now. But it takes really good runny and sunny eggs that haven't been overdone or else the ten to twenty minutes of eating everything before the Grand Finale is just going to leave the eggs hard and unusable. It also takes some good meat that not only will be flavorful on their own but also blend well with the mush. And lastly, it takes a good set of hash browns that isn't overly crispy or overly mushy. Roberta's Village Inn has all of that and more. That was one of the best Grand Finales I've had in years. Usually I don't do it with gravy because the country gravy tends to overpower everything else. But the country-fried steak with gravy didn't do that at all. It blended right in with all the other tastes. So too did the eggs remain remarkably running, all the better to be mixed at the end. And, of course, the thin-cut hash browns was plentiful, seasoned (by me), and, mostly importantly, crispy enough on top and bottom, while remaining soft (but not mushy) within. It was the Perfect Storm of a Grand Finale. The service was great. My server took extra care of me, even when I made the mistake of not noticing the food joint was cash only. I took it all in stride. She not only checked on my just frequent enough but was extra helpful in getting me refills, to-go containers, and the check when it was appropriate. The mood and style of the place was classic diner and I dug it. All ever want is a place to chill in with good food, that isn't overly pressured to kick you out for turnover sake. I was about to say it's kind of a small dining room, but when I went to the ATM I saw they have a whole other dining room that must be for when the place starts jumping for the breakfast rush. I'm assuming that's their busiest time judging by how memorable my breakfast plate was tonight. Overall, I already want to come back during breakfast hours and witness the majesty and awesomeness of this food joint when it's fully operation. I'm betting that's really going to be something to see.
