51221 Clarksburg Rd, Clarksburgso we stopped here on a whim and honestly it totally made my gloomy day. the setting is so pretty with the vines everywhere and the people working really know their stuff, they helped me pick something i normally wouldnt try and i ended up loving it. i dont know much about wine but I didnt feel silly asking questions which was nice, and we hung out for a bit just chatting and relaxing. definitely going back next time im in the area with a cooler to grab a few bottles for home

Kirchhoff Family Wines - Tasting Room
35265 Willow Ave, ClarksburgI just discovered, if you plant old Kirchhoff corks along side Basil, a new bottle will grow and be completely unaffected by any heat or light damage. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon was in my last wine club shipment, and it pairs with my Friday night. Thank you, so lovely.

Heringer Estates Winery
37375 Netherlands Rd, ClarksburgWe hosted our wedding reception at Heringer's and it was PERFECT. They worked with us so we could have our July wedding in the morning and have brunch. We were in Marjorie's Garden and I got so many compliments on the venue! It was absolutely GORGEOUS! We really didn't have to do much when it came to decor at all. They set up all the tables and chairs too, which was such a blessing.
However, an additional shout out goes to the Heringer crew with a special shout out to Alex and his parents for bringing a metal detector to try and find the groom's ring. Above and beyond!
I will be recommending this venue whenever anyone asks!

36510 Riverview Dr, ClarksburgCame in to have a quick lunch with coworkers on a weekday. Love the vibe. Feels historic and has small town charm. Right across from the river. Walk up counter where you order food that's brought to your table. I ordered a steak sandwich, $18.99. My coworker ordered the Pizza. Both were brought to the table promptly and presented well. Steak was super soft. Bread was the star of the show. Soft, flavorful and unique. Potato salad was flavorful, chunky. Small scoop.

Miner's Leap Winery
54250 S River Rd, ClarksburgWe enjoyed listening and dancing to "Midnight Flyer" here. The entertainment gardens are absolutely beautiful and the sunsets are spectacular! Nothing like such a beautiful winery AND smooth sultry wines in their collection offering. We loved (and bought) the Tempranillo, Red Blend and Chardonnay) the distinctive flavors here which immediately reminded us of European wines. Needless to say, we are looking forward to returning and making more memories!

Delta Breeze Labradoodles
35919 Delta Breeze Ct, ClarksburgKaren and Mike are my favorite breeders. I got Mochi from them. She is the first dog in my life and the dog I always dreamed of having.
Mochi inherited their excellent bloodline. She is very friendly and affectionate, and her body structure is beautiful. Karen patiently answered all of my questions, from the breed itself to health and all the care and feeding details. Mike is a gentleman I truly respect. He flew ten hours to Minnesota to bring this little puppy and all the love with her.
From before the adoption to after I brought Mochi home, they also taught me how to be a responsible dog parent. They are very patient, serious about their work, and truly responsible breeders.
In the future, I would love to adopt another dog from them to keep Mochi company. They are people you can truly trust. ?
