All of them are truly pleasant, nice people, but I do want to give a shout-out to Cindy who is particularly off the charts when it comes to welcoming me, with or without my dogs, seeing her when I walk in always brings a smile to my face. You can tell they take great care of any cat that comes their way. I love them, If I lived in Davis this would be my regular vet! Highly Recommended!

4615 Cowell Blvd, DavisWe have not been with this office very long as we recently moved to Davis, but so far I am happy with the services. We have cats and a dog. The staff are welcoming. Dr. Phillips and her techs have been amazing and the orthopedic surgeon they use was also fabulous. Their prices are average to high compared to what I am used to, but I appreciate the extra touches (reminders, follow-up phone calls, ability to text a question). This is the furthest vet in Davis from us, but after some research I'm glad I chose them and I'm sure our fur babies agree. The initial visit deposit may seem frustrating, but it protects their appointment times which I can appreciate as a regular client.

1617 Russell Blvd, DavisVets and technicians are friendly, professional and great with dogs including an intimidating German shepherd. Recently the visit was for a quality of life. Sadly it was time to say goodbye to our well loved old lab. They came to the house and with care and consideration aided us through the difficult time.

Visitor Parking Lot 50, 944 Garrod Dr, DavisI am so glad we came to you when Penney was sick, and when she was bitten by a rattlesnake. Penney was taken very good care of.
The doctors and all of the students were very professional and gave her the best care we could have wanted for her.
In her passing we were asked if we would like a paw print. I was expecting an ink print on paper. We got a plaster casting of her paw.
UC Davis has gone above everything we could have expected in her care and in her passing.

Banfield Pet Hospital
1411 W Covell Blvd #101, DavisI chose this place just because it was close to my house and I couldn't have been luckier. I've interfaced with probably close to 20 vets in my lifetime and Dr. Christenson is the best I've ever had. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she is also compassionate and caring. She remembered who I was every time I came in and truly seemed to want what was best for my cats. When I made an informed decision abouty cats' care, she never tried to change my mind. One of my cats just also really liked her and acted comfortable around her, which made the whole vet process much less traumatic. If we weren't moving and we could keep coming here forever and seeing Dr. Christenson, we would.
I would recommend the Optimum Wellness Plan as well if you can fit it into your budget. It saved me money over time and gave me great piece of mind. You get access to this online chat staffed by vet techs, which I really like. This Banfield was also great at accommodating us when we needed immediate care, and the one time they couldn't help us with the emergency at hand, they sent us to Mayfair in Dixon and made the transition as smooth as possible. It was also nice to know that if something happened while we were visiting my parents, we could go to the Banfield over there and it would be relatively easy.

I had the challah, chocolate and apricot Rugalach, along with honey bread. None of the food lasted long when I took them home.
I recommend chocolate Rugalach AFTER bringing to room temp. When I bought it, it came out of their display, which must be temp controlled and that bite was solid chocolate, which wasnt the best.
After room temperature, the chocolate was decadent and the dough moist. Very enjoyable
