My hubby and I were in the need of 2 things and staff member Angel was amazingly helpful! She showed us how to use the Spot Handi Drink Instant Dog Drinker we purchased, as well as their spout outside to fill it up! Definitely convenient for parks and road trips! She also recommended the company we love, Earth Rated for poop bags! We got the leak-proof Lavender-Scented, the bags are nice and long and they really block the odors! I would definitely recommend this small business that focuses on the wellbeing of your fur child! They have been in business now for 14 years. We'll be back to explore more!

The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and it’s clear how much Cam genuinely cares about every dog that comes through the door.
Even with reactive dogs, he’s calm, patient, and makes them feel completely comfortable. Both of my dogs are always so excited to see him and leave looking (and feeling) amazing. I can’t rave enough about Cam and this establishment. Hands down the best grooming experience out there!

I really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. In fact, they reviewed what I had chosen and even told me I didn’t need one of the add ons. That honesty goes a long way. The best part was the price. What I paid was extremely affordable. I usually leave the vet paying around $500 per cat, but this visit only cost me $52. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend VIP Petcare to other pet parents.

I’ve seen a lot of vets over the years, and none of them have been as kind and down to earth as Dr. Sasha. During the exam, she sat on the ground with my cats and was giving them all the pets and love while she was talking to me about their health history. I’ve never seen my cat so calm in someone else’s arms. Many, MANY vets have commented on my cats weight, but none did it with as much kindness and genuine concern as Dr. Sasha. I wish more human doctors could be this way! Highly recommend!

We’ve gotten in and out relatively quickly every time. On one visit, the vet I worked with downplayed my tuxedo cat’s major anxiety (he always pants, cries, and pees himself when he’s out in a carrier), but on my recent visit, the vet prescribed him gabapentin, for which I am extremely grateful.

My pup was 6 months when I started using them for dog sitting. Honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about them.
They’re knowledgeable, professional, responsible, and caring. The reports at the end of each visit are phenomenal. Every sitter I have met has been approachable and respectful. For some reason they’re all photographers and professional dog trainers too!? I don’t know how they do it. They know all my boys quirks and know when something is off. Plus, they’re super accommodating with any of my request and when there are changes in his routine.
It’s super rare to get your moneys worth nowadays but with Midtown Mutts I feel that it’s worth every cent. I truly don’t know what my pup and I would do without them! Like seriously, I wanted to move to a different town and they were a huge factor in my decision to stay. If I had moved I would have been outside their service area. I couldn’t do it ?

I did a private session and from that moment forward I just knew she was a perfect fit. I ultimately moved ahead with the board and train which was by far the best decision I ever made. Fast forward over a year later and I continue with her monthly membership service. I learn more and more each training session. And let me just say the progress my dog continues to make I could not have done it without Devon. She goes out of her way to make sure I succeed in training my dog and has also given me the skills on how to be the best dog owner. I highly recommend Devon. She has great training methods and no training question goes unanswered.

4417 Baron Ave, SacramentoAmerican River Canine saved our family! About two years ago, my fiancé and I adopted a German Shepherd named Bear from the Sacramento SPCA. Bear was, and still is, an energetic, fun-loving, sweet dog. He just wasn't friendly towards other dogs or cats. Bear would growl, lunge, and chase any other animal near him. Walking him just around the block was challenging because he would tug and try to go after other dogs and cats. It turns out that what we were interpreting as aggression, was actually pent-up excitement in Bear. Deric's extensive knowledge in psychology along with his years of experience working with dogs opened our eyes on how to better understand and communicate with Bear. Deric helped us work with Bear on commands like "place", "here", "out" and "leave it". Working on these commands seemed more like training for us humans, but it all paid off in the end. Nowadays, Bear is a much more obedient dog who can be in the same room as our cats without growling or trying to run after them. Walking Bear is no longer a scary activity. It is something we can do with ease. We even take Bear out in public places like Home Depot, PetSmart, and Iron Horse. We are also in the process of adopting another dog for our family too! Both Bear and our newer dog attend Deric's doggie daycare, The Nature of Dogs, twice a week. I can honestly say that if it weren't for Deric, we probably would have rehomed Bear. I am forever grateful for the dedication and insight Deric has given to our family. I would 100% highly recommend American River Canine for any of your canine training needs!

Bonny is 6 years old German Shepherd, reactive. After we started with Alan, with recommendations and Alan answering question and updates, she is doing significantly better, working to get her more confident. Alan and Renee offers a variety of tips and tools, and accommodating Bonny to get her trained and still some ways to go. She is very afraid and I got her not as a puppy. I strongly recommend their training.

The flavors tasted incredibly fresh and rich without being overly sweet, and every scoop was smooth and creamy like authentic Italian gelato should be. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients because even the simple flavors were amazing. I tried a few different ones and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite because they were all that good.
The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, and the whole experience just felt special. I’ve had gelato in a lot of places, and this spot easily ranks at the top. If you’re anywhere in Northern California, this place is absolutely worth the trip.

I love coming here for their traditional croissant and they also have other ones like Savory ham and cheese and even a galette too with berries. They have a wide variety of seasonal selections to your classic loaf of bread and sandwiches too.

They are also serving some coffee from your latte to your traditional espresso over ice and americanos. They even have lemonade too if you looking for something refreshing.

The inside is quite small with no seating but the line is always quick. They have an outdoor seating with benches so if you like to enjoy it there they have that for you. The parking is kind of tight and limited as well.

They were fair in pricing, and most importantly, they were the BEST in caring. I was able to send off my beautiful, sweet girl with the most respect, care, and love. There is no doubt I made the right decision of choosing Caring Pet Crematory to be my girl's last place of rest.

From the very beginning, it was obvious how much they care about their dogs and the families they place them with. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and transparent throughout the entire process. They provided extensive documentation on our German Shepherd, Luna, including her health history and bloodline, and even introduced us to her parents so we could see firsthand the environment she came from.
What really stood out was the level of support we received after bringing Luna home. Mila and Jeff stayed in contact and were always available to answer questions. Jeff’s years of experience as a veterinary technician were especially valuable. His knowledge of canine health, behavior, and care gave us a great deal of confidence as first-time German Shepherd owners.
Most importantly, Luna has been an amazing dog. Her temperament is exceptional. In fact, during the first few weeks, we were almost convinced something was wrong because she was so well-behaved! She didn’t chew on anything she wasn’t supposed to, adapted quickly to our home, and has been a joy to train and live with.
If you’re looking for knowledgeable, ethical breeders who genuinely care about their dogs long after they leave for their new homes, we wholeheartedly recommend Mila and Jeff. Luna has become a beloved member of our family, and we’re incredibly grateful to them for helping bring her into our lives.

I called Koefran to see what I could do and they had a new container sent to my house the next day engraved with my pets name at no charge. Very pleased with their services and the container is beautiful.

West Coast Pet Memorial Services - Sacramento

We had to put our Teddy down unexpectedly last Sunday. West Coast treated our Teddy with respect and dignity. The urn is beautiful and we requested a laser engraving to place on the urn. We also requested a nose print to remember our sweet boy. Their communication was prompt and friendly.
The Minus points
The engraving was provided separately and we had to stick it on ourself (minus 0.5). For the extra $20, it would have been nice to know it was going to be provided separately.
The nose print was $35 and provided on cardstock only; for that price, a simple frame to protect it would be expected and nice to have (minus 1 point).
Overall though, we are happy with the experience West Coast provided and Teddy is home where he belongs ❤️
