I don’t know much about farms but what I’ve learned this place seems like an amazing resource to have.

Community Spay Neuter Clinic
3839 Bradshaw Road, SacramentoI was finally able to get an appointment to have our precious lab spayed. The process isn’t very user friendly because they only take appointments on the first Monday of the month but once you get an appointment the staff are VERY friendly and helpful answering my questions promptly communicating through email. Drop off was at 0730 and our dog was the first lucky one under the knife and they took very good care of her. We picked her up at 1600 that same day and she was very alert and ready to go home. The Dr gave us almost a week’s worth of doggie tranquilizers to help keep this hyper dog calm with pain medication for 3 days. The Dr did a GREAT job because her wound healed perfectly and after 12 days her scar is just a little thin line that’s barely noticeable.
The amount spent on our pup’s spay was just as good if not better than care from a private veterinarian practice because 1) That’s what the Dr specializes in and 2) We’re older, retired and on a fixed income. The total bill was under $360 which included the surgery itself, pain medication, doggie tranquilizers, bio waste disposal, E collar and microchipping plus she also received a pedicure whereas her regular vet wanted over $1400 for just the surgery! What an UNBELIEVABLE SAVINGS! My wife and I highly recommend Community Spay and Neuter Clinic, Dr Clarkston and the nice staff! What a GREAT TEAM!

The doctor has been very kind and amazing with my girl and the front staff very patient as this is my first girl. Georgia took the time to answer all of my questions to the best of her abilities and even called me back after checking information to help educate me, as well as helped me set up appointments for my girls OFA tests. This is the best staff- friendly- brilliant- always available and my Bernese Mountain Dog, Chao loves going there. One night ai couldn’t make it there in time to get my dog his meds and Jennifer, behind the front desk, drove all the way across town to my home to hand deliver them after hours. That’s a great business. This amazing staff also took care of my 20 year old Chiweenie until she got her wings. With so much care they held my heart and hand until her last breath and provided a beautiful wooden embossed urn with picture holder and sent a card with her paw prints and all of their individual messages of condolences. They are like a family!!!!

4000 El Camino Avenue Suite 100, SacramentoI hit a poor kitty today with my car by accident. I brought her here for emergency help. They IMMEDIATELY took her in and worked on her. They were so wonderful with kindness, compassion, and love. Dr. Pita was phenomenal and the most genuinely kind doctor.
They were not able to save the kitty with such severe internal injuries, but they did everything they could. They kept her comfortable and took such loving care of her. She's not suffering anymore, but I have so much guilt. I'm so grateful to this vet for their support and love. I highly recommend this place. If I lived closer, I would bring my pets here.

Skye's The Limit Dog Training
SacramentoSkylar is an amazing trainer and holds her craft to the highest level. She transformed our sweet but unruly dog Zoey into a well trained dog. Zoey used to jump on people to say hello, pulled on the leash on walks, barked at anything that moved and couldn’t be trusted off leash. She’s still our sweet dog, but no longer jumps on people, walks at a heal on and off leash, off leash recall is spot on and stops barking when I say “done”.
Skylar spent several hours training us durning and after Zoey’s training to insure success once she came home.
I would say the time and monetary investment were well worth it. Only wish was that we did it a few years ago!
We would definitely recommend Skye’s the Limit to anyone considering board and training their dog.

4417 Baron Ave, SacramentoAmerican River Canine saved our family! About two years ago, my fiancé and I adopted a German Shepherd named Bear from the Sacramento SPCA. Bear was, and still is, an energetic, fun-loving, sweet dog. He just wasn't friendly towards other dogs or cats. Bear would growl, lunge, and chase any other animal near him. Walking him just around the block was challenging because he would tug and try to go after other dogs and cats. It turns out that what we were interpreting as aggression, was actually pent-up excitement in Bear. Deric's extensive knowledge in psychology along with his years of experience working with dogs opened our eyes on how to better understand and communicate with Bear. Deric helped us work with Bear on commands like "place", "here", "out" and "leave it". Working on these commands seemed more like training for us humans, but it all paid off in the end. Nowadays, Bear is a much more obedient dog who can be in the same room as our cats without growling or trying to run after them. Walking Bear is no longer a scary activity. It is something we can do with ease. We even take Bear out in public places like Home Depot, PetSmart, and Iron Horse. We are also in the process of adopting another dog for our family too! Both Bear and our newer dog attend Deric's doggie daycare, The Nature of Dogs, twice a week. I can honestly say that if it weren't for Deric, we probably would have rehomed Bear. I am forever grateful for the dedication and insight Deric has given to our family. I would 100% highly recommend American River Canine for any of your canine training needs!

I did a private session and from that moment forward I just knew she was a perfect fit. I ultimately moved ahead with the board and train which was by far the best decision I ever made. Fast forward over a year later and I continue with her monthly membership service. I learn more and more each training session. And let me just say the progress my dog continues to make I could not have done it without Devon. She goes out of her way to make sure I succeed in training my dog and has also given me the skills on how to be the best dog owner. I highly recommend Devon. She has great training methods and no training question goes unanswered.

They helped my tiny 8yr old doggo , Syrup, with his terrible dental issues. I would've paid an exorbitant amount for getting so many of his teeth extracted and I could not afford it at all! What was I to do? CATS gave me hope again, Suna and the other volunteers were amazing (so sorry I forgot your name)! Syrup was cared for and seen within the same day. It was a huge relief to see him happy again after having such painful dental issues that I couldn't afford to help him with.
THANKS AGAIN CATS ABOUT TOWN SOCIETY!
If you're reading this and considering if you should go with them for help with your pet, DO IT! You could not be in safer and more caring hands than in theirs. You might have to sign a bit of paperwork, yet it's perfectly fine! They'll help you if they can!

4601 Pell Drive, SacramentoI lost my daughter few days ago, and i decide to pass by West coast pet memorial services for her last journey. They took care of Chou like it was their own baby. The last goodbye option did help me to say goodbye to my baby... they really did an amazing job. They were really here for me and trying to make me feel better. I was able to bring my other dogs, friend and family. Now im waiting for pick my daughter back with me. I understand that the service dont bring your baby back but they did the most they can to soothe my pain. Thank you again.
