5427 E Washington Blvd, CommerceWe looked for a restaurant via Google Maps after going to the Citadel Outlets on a saturday afternoon. Only a few minute drive from there. Not the best parking lot, but the food was reasonably priced & very tasty, although a bit salty. The portions were adequate & the garlic toast provided for the table was delicious. We had the cajun shrimp pasta & risotto porcini. Wait for the food was not very long & came to the table via a little robot. I think it could be a little loud inside since there is tile flooring & not much deadening for sound anywhere, conversation reflection was high even for only 5 or 6 tables occupied. Overall, a pleasant surprise for a quick decision.

Slicers New York Deli
4848 S Eastern Ave, CommerceI stopped in recently and Slicers was already closed up - BUT, they had some stuff available and were gracious enough to make me a tuna on rye with lettuce tomato and avocado - DELICIOUS! Very fresh and tasty. Plus, their coleslaw was phenomenal! I could eat a bucket of it. This is a great place - especially if you are from back east and know what a real New York deli is like.
