Alhambra Veterinary Hospital
1501 W Mission Rd, AlhambraI needed to get the FAVN rabies titer test done for my cats to travel to Hawaii. Dr Gil was able to enroll directly with Kansas State University’s Veterinary Lab and provide the test at a more affordable rate than other vets in the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley area. I had the test done on 9/18 and got the results back on 10/3. Pretty quick!

West Main Animal Hospital
2216 W Main St, AlhambraI would highly recommend West Main Animal Hospital for your pet's needs. The entire staff were all extremely friendly, understanding, accommodating and helpful. Special shoutout to Amparo, Dr. Rachel Niu and Misty. I was scrambling to find a vet the day before Thanksgiving and fortunately West Main was able to have me do a drop off for my cat. Consultation and the services/pricing are clearly communicated and transparent. Staff took the time to detail exactly what each services do. West Main closes at 6PM but Dr. Niu still took the time to summarize all the results from the reports and the type of treatment they gave my cat. Not once did I feel rushed to leave and asked me multiple times if I had any questions. Amparo and team even gave a follow up call 2 days later to see how many cat was doing. I couldn't recommend a better team for your pet. They genuinely care about the health of your buddy. Thank you once again everyone at West Main Animal Hospital!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
PrintWithMe Print Kiosk at Bagel Exchange
137 W Main St, AlhambraThis bagel shop concept is so cool! I'm from NY and love a good bagel spot so this place felt like the perfect local gem. I met the owner Ryan he was super friendly! The speciality drinks sounded so yummy and seem like they're constantly trying new flavors. I want to come back for their ube latte and cereal latte! I noticed they had a pizza bagel and saw they have mini pizza boxes to put those specific menu item in-so clever! I love how the menu looks like a stock exchange board. Definitely worth stopping by and trying anything on their menu. So many options, so many ways to customize it. And there's lots of street parking up front or around the corner.

Moo Tea
1457 E Valley Blvd, AlhambraLocated in the same parking lot of 168 Supermarket on Valley Blvd. Not sure if they changed management because the last time I was here, the drinks were not that great. This time, the boba was better.

Vita Cane Alhambra
9 W Main St, AlhambraCame in about 30 minutes before closing. A couple others ahead of us in line. Only 2 staff members, one of them named: Sierra. Both employees were kind and efficient. Sierra particularly handled most of our order and she was amazing! She knew how to present the fruits (her design not pictured). Their açai bowls are my favorite from the menu! The açai and ube are delicious, and perfectly balanced with fhe unlimited toppings. Price + unlimited toppings + taste = 100% delicious! Definitely recommend!

Xiaolongkan Hot Pot
46 W Valley Blvd, AlhambraIf you have never done hotpot before, make sure you come with someone who knows. They are not good at explaining or helping out.I would recommend to come with 4 people at least, this way you can order to share more things (meat, fish, vegetables, whatever you like).I had the gold broth (chicken soup broth) and their original broth (spicy level 1). It felt very spicy to me but I usually like mild. So it makes sense.

Sichuan Impression
235 W Main St SuiteB, AlhambraI liked sichuan impression, but wasn’t a huge fan. Dishes were creative and tasty, but not outstanding, and the service was all electronic so although the staff were kind it didn’t feel very personal.

Genovese's Italian Kitchen
2900 W Main St, AlhambraThe food here is great- spinach ravioli with pink sauce, a side salad, and garlic bread hit the spot for real, served by people who really care, and enjoy the food as much as you do. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. The environment is lovely and it's small, but warm, which is often times hard to do. Finding good Italian that is high quality and not too expensive is a feat, but Genoveses does the job.

Aloha Food Factory
2990 W Valley Blvd, AlhambraI had the breakfast plate with fried chicken. The breakfast plate comes with 2 eggs and choice of sauce (either sweet sauce or teriyaki sauce). There's a lot of food with just this dish. The chicken is covered in batter and you can choose how you want your eggs cooked. The chicken was good and the entire dish was decent. When you park and you're entering the restaurant there's a sign that says 'macadamia pancakes' so I definitely added the short stack (2 pancakes) to my meal. I had a few bites of the pancakes so I can enjoy the fluffiness and taste of the dish. The pancakes were huge and topped with cream and macadamia crumbles. Really tasty. Of course, I wasn't going to finish this during my visit and I took it home. After eating the chicken the following day I decided it was very oily because of the batter and the way it was cooked. The pancakes were still okay. I'm a little saddened because I really thought I would be wow'd by this place, but I wasn't. It wasn't bad or anything I just higher hopes. I would still come back and try the other items on the menu.
