Never once made me feel like they were just trying to take my money after just being discharged from the ER with a $2,000 bill. They were ready to take care of my 12 year old doggy that had just been attacked by my bigger dog. It was a traumatizing moment but I'm grateful for the doctors and all staff at Alhambra Veterinary Hospital for being so helpful and compassionate.

While we were eating, a salesperson happened to come in trying to sell the restaurant pre-made seasoning packets. The owner firmly turned them down and explained that they ferment and make their own seasonings in-house. That little moment said everything about how seriously they take their food—and you can really taste the difference.
The flavors are bold, complex, and genuinely Guizhou: sour, spicy, aromatic, and incredibly well balanced. Honestly, even in Shanghai, it’s not always easy to find Guizhou food this authentic.
The lady who took care of us was also incredibly warm, gentle, and attentive throughout the meal.
If you love Guizhou cuisine—or simply want to experience what authentic Guizhou food should taste like—Hengry is absolutely worth planning your itinerary around. I would definitely come back.

Everything was amazing. Fish and seafood was fresh and each dish was beautifully plated and delicious. Service was excellent and the ambiance was peaceful and calm. I brought home hand roll boxes for my kids. Hand roll boxes are to go only and a fabulous deal for $29 pretax! So much food and so yummy. Highly recommend the omakase. So delicious and such a good value.

The sushi is pretty fresh and above average quality. The portion is decent and the service is good. I probably won’t go there without the happy hour price but during the week is a good choice for lunch.

126 West Main Street, AlhambraI finally got to try Patisserie Too at the Alhambra location. There is a free parking in the lot behind the business. I think it is free for two hours only.
Their Portuguese egg tarts are $0.99! They also have cute mini ones 3 for $2. The other pastries look really cute but they’re $7+. The brown sugar mochi tarts might be my favorite. They have a brown sugar mochi layer under the egg tart layer.
Credit card accepted.
I didn’t see any bathrooms, but they do have some seating inside.
