My dog has been coming here since hes a pup and i will never take him else where for a reason. They care for the fur babies right and this is coming from someone whos worked with dogs all her life.
Our chewie , chewbaca is a maltipoo and stubborn so i am forever greatful .

Everything I tried just had a really surprising amount of flavor and quality. Pro tip; try the pesto Mac and every protein in tacos. I felt like the rat in Ratatouille, it’s like flavor explosions in my mouth. There’s no good reason to spend money on McDonald’s when you can pay close to the same for fresh foods and awesome food.

I had the Kung pao, Dim Sum BBQ Pork Bun and House special chow mein with meats and everything was fresh. You can immediately tell it was fresh and they put a lot of work into the food since all the vegetables and meats had a thicker and bolder texture, the meats are not velvetized at least I don't think they are, It was a very hearty meal. It was my first time eating at this restaurant and I do recommend it and will be returning.
This is not your typical chinese food restaurant where you go and pick out your items through a ready made window, panda express etc they serve you a greasy box and very sweet foods, this place is not that.

The service was amazing so welcoming so attentive. Their cafe de olla was perfect. I had their chilaquiles con huevo and bistec. It comes with beans and it had some lettuce I'm assuming side of salad but I mixed it all together and it was delicious! They do give you chips and salsa and let me tell you that salsa was deliciousssss!! The place isn't huge but it's perfect and cozy. They have plenty of other stuff on their menu | just decided to start with chilaquiles and they were delicious :)

I love coming to Café Santo- just wish they had a location in San Diego. This spot has such a vibe.
I always go for the chilaquiles, and they seriously taste like home. Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice- comfort food done right. I usually order their iced Mexican mocha, but this time I switched it up and tried the iced arroz tatemado latte… sooo good.
Lately they’ve been doing vinyl pop-ups with El Marchante, which makes the whole experience even better. Coffee and vinyls? Say less.
Customer service can be a hit or miss, and parking can be a little tough, but honestly, I keep coming back for the food, drinks, and overall vibe. (Added new pics)

I appreciate the simplicity of the menu, menu for adults ya know. Less is more they say. And the speed and consistent flavor every time I go, I been there 8 and a half times. I always get the same drink. It’s Strong coffee, makes me not hate going to work for a few hours when that caffeine rush hits. As a coffee and Ice cube expert if I had to nit pick something it be the ice cubes melt too fast therefore dilution happens at a faster rate. And ofcourse the parking can be hassle if it’s busy.

Mains: Cashew Chicken and Broccoli Beef (honestly I told my husband that the Broccoli beef could be swapped for whatever he wants because he likes fried food so this will be swapped from time to time)
Side: Garlic Green Beans (these are the absolute most DELICIOUS green beans I have ever eaten)
The soup gets refills.
The food is freshly made and so yummy.
This is not fast food it's cooked family style and with flavor.
One of the few food gems in Montebello.
