“I took my iPhone to this store (HMB Cellular on El Cajon Blvd) two days ago. It was damaged when I slammed my car hatch door while the phone was sitting right on the latch. It certainly damaged the screen severely but also a dent on the back of the phone. I was certain the mother board inside was probably damaged. The young man at the front counter, whose name I don’t recall, was extremely kind and helpful. He kept Re-assuring me that although it looked bad, it was still possible for the inside to be intact. He proceeded to open the phone and checked all inside parts in detail which took him a good hour, and told me the phone was still completely intact and that only the screen would be needed to be replaced. He replaced the screen. My phone works as well as it did prior to the damage. Thank you HMB Cellular)! I can now see why you have 382 reviews and all with 5 stars! I will certainly be referring friends and family!”
“So i came into this little hole in the wall store trying to figure out what to do about my two different cell phones from separate carriers (one being T-Mob of course. The worker could not help me with my strange request of changing phones, carriers and phone number but he did advise me what to do- and in a friendly way even though he knew it would not end with a sale. Good experience which wasn't expected in the area it's in. I guess that's just an assumption i made that was entirely incorrect. I guess that's why we shouldn't assume!”
“I approached Tony with an above-average complicated job. I had to solder a special type of Lithium-Ion battery to a motherboard of a commercial printer. I quoted around and nobody wanted to take my job. Tony did. He helped me brainstorm about other potential solutions to my problem. I went with one of his suggestions and it worked out. Machine is running now. He provided great advise.”
“Absolutely amazing! The place was great, the service was extremely quick and everyone was really nice! Ravyn, Ron and Dany were amazing! They were very kind, understanding and patient! They helped me get my home internet, explained everything and even did some protocol stuff (which I don't understand, but it was cool to see them follow the rules!)

“I went in with my 87 yr old dad and his 2g phone. Orendo gave us fantastic customer service. He was knowledgeable enough to convince us we needed to replace it and left us confident we were getting the right replacement. He was patient with my dad who wanted to know everything Orendo was doing. My dad is no longer tech friendly and Elvis is too modern for him. The fact that he left the store with new technology and a smile on his face is almost a miracle. Orendo was a breath of fresh air in what we both thought would be a tedious chore.”
