He really took the time to understand what I needed and even helped me get the vacuum to my car- very helpful and thoughtful. I truly appreciate his effort and work, and I highly recommend going to him for any kind of questions. He is knowledgeable whereas I feel comfortable asking him anything and he knows the answers best. Also, cheers to the tech guy for being super welcoming too! “7/29/2025: Update: 4-star: The company noticed this post, contacted me by email and phone that same day with explicit instructions on how they can assist, and followed-up today with additional details and an apology. Looks like my case just happened to fall through the cracks - but it appears to be rectified. I'll update this review again after the support is complete, and I have high hopes that Alcove Lighting will live up to the other reviews for great customer service. 7/28/2025: 1-star: While the initial purchase of a large fan from Amazon, sold by Alcove Lighting was smooth - the motor has since died and I've left 3 voicemails in as many weeks, submitted a web-form request with all the details, and sent an email. I've not received any acknowledgement or responses, which is terrible customer service.”

“My 97 year old mother and I were shopping for a new kitchen faucet. A wonderful HD employee, David, actually approached us and asked if we needed help. He was a Godsend! He was filled with so much knowledge, advice, suggestions, and took his time with us. He knew that department so well and showed us where some add-on items were. I can't tell you how much we appreciated David and his help with us today. Congrats HD for having such a wonderful employee!”

“very large inventory and naturally a lot of industry workers are souricng equpiment/tools in this area. I had two visits in the smae day - the first visit was Ok and I needed assistance with some air compressor tools and the Home depot employee said "No one really knows anything about that stuff, maybe come back another day". I was shocked that he basically didn't try to ask anyone for help or take a jab at learnign something to sharpen his own knowledge. Nonetheless - I figured it out or so I thought and purchased my parts. I went back a few hours later at 915PM (rgiht before closing) and AJ, a young man who was working helped me for almost fifteen minutes to resolve the compatability issue I had with male/female plugs and couplers in the air compressor aisle. Without hesitation, he was patient, helpful, and glad to help me resolve my dilemma. If the managers are reading this, get more employees like AJ, people like him are the reason I'd come back to Home Depot. My visit was on 2/16/22 at 9pm if that helps find which AJ. haha”
