“You know something is right when the competitors are referring you to DE. We bought paint from HD many many many years ago and returned for a color match. The match was sort of kind of close but not close once dried. I went back to HD and the counter help suggested going to DE. Off we went. We went to DE on Bristol St in Costa Mesa. We shared a paint chip of the color and waited less than 15 minutes for the match. The gentleman in the back room did a phenomenal job in matching the color and sheen. I immediately applied the color to the affected area and let it dry 24 hours. Suffice to say, DE matched the color perfectly. No difference in the dried paint AND the original paint was from HD. Thank you DE for your effort and expertise!!!!”

“I have been buying from this company for over 40 years. They are not a public storefront but they accept walk-ins and help as best they can. There is nowhere else in Orange County that you can have someone do an on site hose repair the way this company can, and while they are extremely busy at all times of day fulfilling large quantity orders for industrial businesses, they will make sure you get taken care of. This does mean you may have to wait and be patient.Just like every other business right now, they are short-staffed and having issues getting inventory shipped in. They qualify good customer service as getting the job done; if they can't do it, they'll tell you. If they are too busy to get to you right away, they will tell you. I appreciate their forthrightness and honesty which I will take any day over fake smiles and solicitous condescension.”

“very large inventory and naturally a lot of industry workers are souricng equpiment/tools in this area. I had two visits in the smae day - the first visit was Ok and I needed assistance with some air compressor tools and the Home depot employee said "No one really knows anything about that stuff, maybe come back another day". I was shocked that he basically didn't try to ask anyone for help or take a jab at learnign something to sharpen his own knowledge. Nonetheless - I figured it out or so I thought and purchased my parts. I went back a few hours later at 915PM (rgiht before closing) and AJ, a young man who was working helped me for almost fifteen minutes to resolve the compatability issue I had with male/female plugs and couplers in the air compressor aisle. Without hesitation, he was patient, helpful, and glad to help me resolve my dilemma. If the managers are reading this, get more employees like AJ, people like him are the reason I'd come back to Home Depot. My visit was on 2/16/22 at 9pm if that helps find which AJ. haha”
