“Love Poppy! I have been a customer of Poppy Bank, Costa Mesa for many years. I first discovered them through a business mailing with a high interest rate offering for savings. The savings and interest rates are so much better than you can find with any other walk in bank. When I read some of the other reviews complaining about the wait and customer service it bothers me. Yes, it takes time and, when interest rates are up to 5%, you may need to make an appointment but once you are in front of the representative you have their full and undivided attention. When you call the bank, guess what, they answer the phone. Having a business when covid struck I turned to my business bank, Chase, for a PPP loan. I could not get through to anyone on the phone and the branches were totally uniformed. It was very frustrating. I turned to Poppy Bank and they took such good care of me with the loan and the paperwork for filing for loan forgiveness. Though I can handle most of my personal transactions on line or on the phone, I actually enjoy visiting this bank and seeing the smile on the face of my favorite Poppy representative, Ray. He is so pleasant and takes such good care of me. I even sent him a thank you card. It was the first time I have ever done anything like that.”

“This Citibank branch gave my family the best bank experience of our life. My brothers and sisters and I were left holding a check that needed to be deposited into a new account..Like a whirlwind, we flew into this branch with a hundred questions,, requests confusion and excitement. We were introduced Banker Pedro Nino who made an appointment for us, took us in and and graciously handled our situation. Whew, he even did the follow up needed to make our whole banking experience complete. Thank you Pedro Nino and CitiBank for helping us through this transition in life.”

“I've never had a problem with US bank. They have froze my account due to suspected fraud charges but once I called them and told them it was ok, they unfroze my account right away. The tellers at this location are friendly and helpful!”

“I had a huge a credit card problem with this bank. There was a glitch in the Wells Fargo app and It caused me to accidentally make additional payments on my Wells Fargo credit card through a different bank account. Because of these extra payments my checking account became negative and had insufficient funds for everyday use. To make a confusing story short, Wells Fargo put a hold out on my credit card and was not allowing me to use it. There were many back and forth conversations with the credit card department trying to figure out a solution. I eventually went into the branch in Costa Mesa and spoke to Francisco. He seemed to be the only person who was able to provide me with a solution to this complicated credit card issue. With in 10 minutes I had the funds available I needed while the company continues to research what happened and how they can fix it. Thanks for your help Francisco! You're the man.”

“I'm shocked to see some of these bad reviews! I've been banking with WellsFargo for 15 years and have always received great customer service. I've been coming to this specific branch for over 10 years because it's down the street from me and the worst thing I've ever experienced is just a crazy long line. I always recommend this branch to friends who live in the area. I'm consistently greeted and/or acknowledged and I'm usually in and out fairly quickly. The only hiccup to today's visit was with the drive-thru atm around 8am. It had run out of $20's so I pulled out and back in to park to walk up to the atm machine near the entrance. I will continue to return to this branch as I've never had a bad experience in the past.”
