Cotati Small Animal Hospital: Groverman Frederick A DVM
8055 Gravenstein Hwy, CotatiI can't say enough good things about Dr. Kong, her medical assistant Carol, and the other staff members at Cotati Small Animal Hospital. Our 12-year-old dog arrived in serious condition, and, while there is no cure for his kidney failure, Dr. Kong came up with a treatment plan that is enabling him to enjoy life again for as long as he has left. His eyes are bright again; he has a little pep; she has helped bring him back from death's door. The folks there all treat our little guy with tenderness and treat us with compassion. Dr. Kong also helped us consider the costs of different treatment paths so we could decide what was right for us. Plus, she calls after hours, after long days treating patients, to give us updates when necessary.

8079 Gravenstein Hwy, CotatiMy mini, Baguette, recently saw Dr. Emelie. She was so kind and patient with her. She examined her for a possible pregnancy with blood work and an ultrasound. While Baguette did not like the examination process, Dr. Emelie was sooo kind and patient with her. Having had the experience of other large animal veterinarians, I have found my new vet for Baguette and my other minis. Thank you so much Dr. Emelie!!

8235 Old Redwood Hwy, CotatiI discovered Shige in February 2025 while heading down to Southern California and had to stop by again this November on my way back up. I’d been looking forward to eating here for the past couple of days while planning my trip—and even more so this morning!
The food is excellent, the atmosphere is small but cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. My waitress even remembered me—where I sat and my attitude! Shige made a great impression on me the first time, and an even better one now.
Highly recommend!
