A friendly gentleman who had warmly greeted us at the door immediately came over to help, checked the racks himself, and confirmed it was out of stock. Rather than just leaving it at that, he offered to call another nearby location to see if they had it available.
He asked us to wait while he personally called to confirm inventory so we wouldn’t waste a trip, and once he verified they had it, he even asked them to hold a bag for us until we arrived. That level of follow-through and genuine care is rare. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, but what really stood out was the customer service. It was thoughtful, proactive, and exactly the kind of experience that earns repeat customers.

5800 Nave Dr, NovatoAfter stopping at another nearby Pet Food Express and finding out the specific dog food we needed was sold out, the staff there kindly called this Nave Drive location to confirm it was in stock and asked them to hold a bag for us. We arrived about 30 minutes later, and sure enough, it was waiting at the counter with our name on it. That kind of coordination saved us time and made the extra drive completely worthwhile.
While we were there, we picked up a couple of additional items, and the associate helping us was extremely friendly and attentive. She walked us to the right sections, answered our questions, and made sure everything we selected was exactly what we wanted. We were in and out in less than twenty minutes, fully stocked and ready to keep our little furry friend happy.
The store itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, with clearly labeled aisles and a good selection of food, treats, and essentials. Parking in the shopping center is convenient, which makes quick stops easy. Overall, this location stands out for its efficiency and genuinely helpful customer service.

511 Atherton Ave, NovatoI brought my 3 year old dog here for behavioral consult due to anxiety and uncooperativeness with her other vet. The space was warm and inviting. Dr Evans and the other staff were great with her and did a wonderful job working with her very cautious and hyper alert personality. The doctor took plenty of time getting to know us and provided some helpful advice. By the end of our appointment, my dog even let the doctor pet her, which is unusual for her the first time she meets someone. I’m optimistic that my girl will get comfortable enough for a physical exam. Would highly recommend, especially if you have an anxious dog.

She also got her crown amputated and was caught on early to prevent further damage, they called the next day to check up on Ivy and very awesome to work with them.

When I follow her advice, looking keenly at the dogs around us in any situation, it increases my awareness of what is going on with the dogs I am with and if I do as Kelli has shown me within a couple of hours or less, I know what they are up to and what could happen next! I now prevent uncomfortable situations with my young Shepard mix who wants to herd dogs even! Kelli is great in all situations and is helping me and my son have a better relationship with our dog. From the first session she is showing me how to have Princess Kitty make friends with other dogs! Kelli is a master dog communicator- from dog body language of all the dogs to subtle and quick changes in the eyes of dogs - and is a phenomenal trainer hands down the best I'm met. She understands what dogs at up to at all moments, and all the possibilities of what could happen next. Kelli may work with puppies but she easily works well with my 50 lb active shepherd as well as my son's friends terrier a 8 lb rescue from the streets of California. Kelly understands dog body language and dogs so well she can predict their next moves easily. Great trainer wonderful lady who truly speaks dog! I would highly recommend her in any situation with any dog, or even if you want to get to know your dog better and make more doggie friends! Sky's the limit with Kelli, expect Miracles!

Finally I found Fetch! who put me in touch with a fabulous sitter who had experience administering the insulin injection that my cat needs. Marin Coffee Roasters

Although I’ve got to admit, there isn’t much of an atmosphere in a drive-through coffee place, but where atmosphere lacks, its made up for by the friendly staff. Been going through here for years several times a week. Nice to get to know the servers.
I used to go to the main coffee roasters in the shopping center on ignacio Boulevard, but I found out a few years ago that I drive by the one in Novato every morning, and it is much easier.
As always, the staff is pleasant to talk with a very friendly. Claudia runs a tight ship, always nice to see young people doing a good job and working hard at anticipating my order and getting it right!

… Only thing I miss from what I used to get at the ignacio store, is the pecan bars. Those came To the Novato stop that would be great!

1200 Grant Ave, NovatoFirst time visit and absolutely loved the large Gastronomique pizza!! The Watermelon salad and Caesar salad were very good as well.
The only criticism would be that the salads were delivered shortly before the pizza was. It would have been nice to have some more time to enjoy the salads.
Will definitely add this to our go to pizza place when in town!!!

After we found the special cheviche (off menu) we have never looked back! It's absolutely incredible with all the delicious flavors and textures of Peru. Between the both of us one is enough to share along with cocktails. It's a perfect date night.

1301 Grant Ave, NovatoThe taproom here is awesome! I like to stop by after a mountain bike ride for some delicious cold beer. They open early Friday through Sunday which is perfect for me. Im usually greeted by Michael who is very nice, and knowledgeable about the company and all the different beers. Nice people here, great location, lots of fun.
