Loxton Cellars
11466 Dunbar Rd, Glen EllenLoxton is one of our favorite wineries and we love visiting when we’re in the area. They’ve been able to maintain a special relaxed and peaceful environment the focuses on good wine, sustainable practices, and great company. Chris Loxton is always approachable and has many wonderful stories and perspective on the land to share. Nancy was also fantastic this past visit and clearly shares the excitement for the vineyard and wine. We can’t wait to be back!

Laurel Glen Vineyard
13750 Arnold Dr Suite #9, Glen EllenLaurel Glen is something truly special.
We visited as part of a small, education-focused tasting group, and the experience exceeded even our very high expectations. The wines are precise, thoughtful, and deeply expressive of place — exactly what you hope for from Sonoma Mountain.
We were welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality by Bettina, whose presence and perspective made the visit unforgettable. She has a rare ability to communicate both the philosophy and the feeling behind the wines, which added so much depth to the experience.
The tasting itself was beautifully curated — from elegant bubbles, to a vibrant Riesling and Grüner Veltliner, and ultimately to the Cabernet Sauvignons, which were the clear stars. These are not just powerful wines — they are structured, balanced, and distinctly mountain-driven, with a sense of restraint and identity that you simply don’t find everywhere. You can truly taste the elevation, the site, and the intention behind every decision.
This is a place for people who care about wine — not just drinking it, but understanding it.
Highly, highly recommended.

Wine Snob*
969 Carquinez Ave, Glen EllenI can’t praise The Wine Snob* Winery/Tasting Room enough. Suffice it to say that I have lived in the wine country for 20 years, in Glen Ellen (that’s a lot of tasting wine in Sonoma & Napa counties).
The Wine Snob* is simply the best!
We are inbetween Wine Clubs (past have been Jacuzzi, Lasseter etc.) We are definitely signing up for Wine Snob* Club as well as the satellite Champagne Club called Wolves~Lovers & Theives. Ask Ryan or Lindsey what these 3 words mean. The owners are always serving the libations, and pride of ownership is evident.
Gentlemen, remember that diamonds and bubbles are a girls ‘best friend!’

The Mill at Glen Ellen
14301 Arnold Dr Suite 32, Glen EllenWow! What a spectacular experience my sister and I had here. I went to this lovely town to pick up my wedding cake for the next day. We had just done some hiking at Jack London State park which was equally as lovely, and were hungry and wanted to see what this restaurant had to offer. We parked and walked up the stairs and saw that it was curved in plants and there was tons of outdoor seating! We were asked if we had reservations and I thought for sure we wouldn’t get in but the young man at the door smiled widely and said no problem! We got to pick our seat which was next to a water fountain. The waiter came with to my surprise, cucumber lemon water. Yum! The menu was not overwhelming and had some great options. I chose the pastrami and omg was it the BEST I’ve ever had. The fries were done perfectly and the spicy mustard thy offer in the condiment tray was simply delicious and I wish I could have taken some home. My sister got the wagyu steak burger and that was melt in your mouth good. We each got a drink and they were tasty. The entire staff at this place is so friendly, welcoming and has a warmth about them that you feel like you’re eating with family. I highly recommend this place!

Les Pascals Patisserie et Boulangerie
13758 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenLes Pascals is the real deal—a charming French bakery run by an authentic French family (couple plus their son). Their almond croissants and pain au chocolat are absolutely delicious, and they hand-make Levain (sourdough) bread and authentic baguettes fresh every day.
Great place to stop by and get coffee too... Highly recommend!

Mayo Family Winery
13101 Arnold Dr #9446, Glen EllenWe had such a great time at Mayo Family Winery! We came in toward the end of the day, and they were still happy to accommodate our group of 9. Our host was very accommodating and helped tailor the tasting to the wines we wanted to try. You get 6 wines for just $35, which is an amazing deal. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Dane Cellars
The Tank, 14300 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenWe had a great time tasting wine at Dane Cellars in our trip to Somoma. The atmosphere is so quaint in the Tank, and the wine is fantastic. Also, Bart Hansen is the owner and operator, and also does the tasting so we got to enjoy his wide range of knowledge for both the wines and Sonoma valley. Highly recommend scheduling a tasting here!

Imagery Estate Winery
14335 Sonoma Hwy, Glen EllenHave been wine club member here for years (and sister winery, Benziger)! Love this place...Friends and I often hike at the nearby Regional Park, then come for tasting, picnic and to play some bocce. Always a great day! Servers are so friendly (Dory's a gem and so was Sandy, who has since retired)...Great variety of wine choices (and they are excellent) and snacks available if you need to buy some. On a pleasant day, weather-wise, sitting outside is lovely and most relaxing! On a colder day, the indoor fireplace is very inviting...

Benziger Family Winery
1883 London Ranch Rd, Glen EllenNovember 9, 2025 - Glen Ellen, CA. We sought out this winery after being served a wonderful Benziger Chardonnay in La Conner, Washington. We liked it so much that we knew we had to visit Benziger the next time we were in Glen Ellen. Our visit to Benziger was very pleasant. The grounds are beautiful, and they offer several different tasting experiences. We didn't have reservations, so we opted for the main tasting room. We had our pup with us and were happy to see that dogs are welcome there. When we first walked in, the bar area to the right was 3-4 people deep, so pretty crowded. The section to the left had two staff members, with no customers, but even after a few friendly eye contacts, no one waved us over. I finally walked up to ask if dogs were allowed (they are--yay!) and if we should wait in the other line. After a bit of discussion, they said they could handle our tasting there, which worked out perfectly. Once we got started, the tasting was great. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared a little about their wines. The wines were delicious, and the whole place had a warm, relaxed vibe. Our pup even got a few smiles and pets from staff and other guests. The chardonnay we had in La Conner (Running Wild) was not on the tasting menu, but we bought 2 bottles anyway hoping that it was as good as we remembered. We also bought a bottle of the rose. All in all, great experience--good wine, friendly staff, and dog-friendly too.
