Laurel Glen Vineyard
13750 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenBest wine tasting experience of our trip. Nick was a fantastic host, made it fun and memorable with just the right amount of info and stories behind the wine.
They make amazing Cabernet Sauvignon, and have a really nice chilled lineup now with excellent rose and whites.

Loxton Cellars
11466 Dunbar Rd, Glen EllenI was visiting Sonoma for the NASCAR race and found myself with some free time, so I searched Google Maps and came across Loxton. I’m so glad I did because I can’t recommend this winery enough!
How often do you get a personal tour from the winemaker himself? Chris was incredibly down-to-earth, welcoming and passionate about what he does. He has a great way of breaking down the winemaking process into simple, easy-to-understand explanations that made me feel comfortable asking questions and truly enjoying the experience.
The wines were fantastic, and the entire visit felt personal and authentic. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back to Sonoma. Until then, I’ll be enjoying these fabulous wines from home!

The Mill at Glen Ellen
14301 Arnold Dr Ste 32, Glen EllenWe had the most amazing lunch here. The beautiful flowers, and trees surrounding the restaurant, the creek flowing below, and the two deer who come to snack on the trees just made this such a serene experience. Oz was an excellent host giving wonderful suggestions. I highly recommend coming here for a nice quiet, delicious lunch. You will not only leave nourished but just also relaxed and refreshed.

Les Pascals Patisserie et Boulangerie
13758 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenDon’t let the exterior fool you, it doesn’t immediately look like a traditional French bakery, but the people working there are French and the quality is excellent. The pastries are authentic, fresh, and clearly made with care. Great croissants and a nice little hidden gem in Sonoma.

Dane Cellars
The Tank, 14300 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenWe had a great time tasting wine at Dane Cellars in our trip to Somoma. The atmosphere is so quaint in the Tank, and the wine is fantastic. Also, Bart Hansen is the owner and operator, and also does the tasting so we got to enjoy his wide range of knowledge for both the wines and Sonoma valley. Highly recommend scheduling a tasting here!

Imagery Estate Winery
14335 Sonoma Hwy, Glen EllenHave been wine club member here for years (and sister winery, Benziger)! Love this place...Friends and I often hike at the nearby Regional Park, then come for tasting, picnic and to play some bocce. Always a great day! Servers are so friendly (Dory's a gem and so was Sandy, who has since retired)...Great variety of wine choices (and they are excellent) and snacks available if you need to buy some. On a pleasant day, weather-wise, sitting outside is lovely and most relaxing! On a colder day, the indoor fireplace is very inviting...

Glen Ellen Star
13648 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenExcellent, elevated comfort food. Great service. Interesting combinations of flavors that take classics to slightly new places - without startling and taking away the comfort food aspect.
Order the popcorn panna cotta with lavender if it’s on the menu!

Benziger Family Winery
1883 London Ranch Rd, Glen EllenNovember 9, 2025 - Glen Ellen, CA. We sought out this winery after being served a wonderful Benziger Chardonnay in La Conner, Washington. We liked it so much that we knew we had to visit Benziger the next time we were in Glen Ellen. Our visit to Benziger was very pleasant. The grounds are beautiful, and they offer several different tasting experiences. We didn't have reservations, so we opted for the main tasting room. We had our pup with us and were happy to see that dogs are welcome there. When we first walked in, the bar area to the right was 3-4 people deep, so pretty crowded. The section to the left had two staff members, with no customers, but even after a few friendly eye contacts, no one waved us over. I finally walked up to ask if dogs were allowed (they are--yay!) and if we should wait in the other line. After a bit of discussion, they said they could handle our tasting there, which worked out perfectly. Once we got started, the tasting was great. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared a little about their wines. The wines were delicious, and the whole place had a warm, relaxed vibe. Our pup even got a few smiles and pets from staff and other guests. The chardonnay we had in La Conner (Running Wild) was not on the tasting menu, but we bought 2 bottles anyway hoping that it was as good as we remembered. We also bought a bottle of the rose. All in all, great experience--good wine, friendly staff, and dog-friendly too.
