Pampered Pups Salon and Spa
155 Rainsville Rd, PetalumaJason is awesome!
I have two pups - one who is easy going, the other needs sedation (literally for everything).
Jason is great with both of them. But what I appreciate the most, is that he sets expectations for my difficult pup, and is still willing to push as much as he can. And every time my difficult pup comes out, he is still cute!! Jason lets me know where he struggled, and I try to make up where I can at home, but at least he made sure that the money makers (the face) look great. I'm so grateful!
Jason is patient and gentle - I can tell because neither of my pups EVER come home with cuts in their armpits or their sensitive areas - PEOPLE CHECK THE ARMPITS AND FOLDS OF YOUR PUPS - if there are cuts, they are going too fast and THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH JASON!
Highest recommendation!

Best In Show Pet Grooming
2000 Lakeville Hwy STE B, PetalumaWhat a great shop and what a great experience. The shop is a wide open and bright space. My Bernedoodle, Otto, is still a very rambunctious puppy but his groomer, Caitlin, took extra care to calm him and make him comfortable. He is so handsome in his summer cut! Reasonably priced and worth the drive from Martinez. Enjoy downtown Petaluma while you wait. I will return with my 14 year old Yorkie and provide an update.

Adobe Animal Hospital
408 Madison St, PetalumaAfter several disappointing vet experiences in Marin, Adobe Animal Hospital in Petaluma has been such a relief. The entire team is professional and skilled, the facility is gorgeous, and service is efficient. They excel at all the details that matter - thorough follow-ups, helpful notes, appointment reminders, and giving each client focused attention without running late. Worth every minute of the drive - we even made the trip from the city. Our dog trainer recommended them and drives from the East Bay herself. So grateful we found them.

Just an overall great feeling and flow of experience. Honestly the entirety of staff i dealt with were super friendly and wonderful to deal with. What I appreciated most is knowing there's an emergency hospital my dog feels safe at(which is important because he can be VERY unwieldy at the vet), and that i feel will provide quality care when we need it most.

Petaluma Cheese Shop / Barber Cellars Winery
112 Washington St, PetalumaNot to be missed experience. Barber Cellars/Petaluma Cheese Shop are located in the historic Petaluma Hotel. The decor is quaint and unique. Michael, owner, greeted us and poured a tasting of 6 wines all of which were great. I especially enjoyed the Sangiovese and bought 2 bottles as well as bottles of Rose of Sangiovese and Zinfandel. The fondue we shared was exceptional and some of the dipping choices seemed odd until we tried them. The best by far was the apple first dipped in the cheese and then the chocolate sauce. Thank you Michael for your friendly service and we enjoyed hearing about your wine making experience. Everyone in our party agreed that we will definitely come again.

Lombardi's Catering Company
3413 Petaluma Blvd N, PetalumaLombardi's Catering is amazing.
Denise runs the catering team, and she is absolutely incredible. From the very beginning she was on her game—organized, responsive, and such a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. Our tasting was honestly a blast, and it gave us complete confidence going into the wedding that we had made the right choice.
And most importantly—the food was outstanding.
I heard about the mini meatballs at cocktail hour all night long. Guests absolutely loved them. For dinner, we had chicken parm, gnocchi, and steak, and people were raving about every single dish.
Every plate at the end of the night was completely empty—including mine as the bride. And let it be known: people always say the bride doesn’t eat… I did. And I wanted seconds because it was that good.
Lombardi's Catering delivered an incredible experience from start to finish—amazing service, incredible food, and a team our guests are still talking about.

Stage Gulch Goldens
1035 Stage Gulch Rd, PetalumaMy experience in working with Shayla and Jake has been nothing short of phenomenal. I had a lot of pretty serious health issues come up throughout the year that I was supposed to get a puppy from them, and they not only were so kind in working with me to push the litter back, but also were truly there for me as wonderful humans through an extraordinarily difficult time in my life.
When it was time for me to finally get my puppy, I was blessed with the sweetest dog I have ever met in my entire life. I've grown up with yellow labs and have owned two golden retrievers (one from a reputable Southern California breeder), and my puppy, Kobe's temperament and gentle soul is like nothing I've ever experienced before. He feels like a therapy dog even at 11 weeks old.
I constantly send Shayla updates about Kobe and she responds with love and care. You can tell both she and Jake truly care about the dogs they are breeding and sending off to their forever homes. I'm already ready to get another puppy from them! ;)
I have three friends who have dogs from Stage Gulch Goldens as well, and they all have extremely similar experiences as mine.
Thank you for my forever best friend! <3
