“My wife and I recently visited the DXL Big & Tall store in Culver City with a friend who was shopping for her brother—and we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be.
The sales associates were incredibly helpful, attentive without being pushy, and really knowledgeable about the store's offerings. While we weren’t the ones shopping, I still felt welcomed and appreciated. One of the team members even complimented an accessory I was wearing, which sparked a fun moment and showed how personable the staff is.
At one point, my wife and I needed to use the restroom, and during that time I had a great conversation with the store manager. Somehow we got on the topic of pens and ended up having a full-on discussion about Montblanc—a rare but genuinely enjoyable moment of connection you don’t expect to find in a retail setting.
All in all, even though we weren’t the ones making the purchase, it felt like a great visit. Friendly service, good energy, and an overall positive experience. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in need of big & tall items!”
“I’ve always liked this store, but I’m disappointed. I bought Red Wing boots expecting their usual repair policy if the soles failed. When mine separated, I called ahead and was told to bring them in. I drove across town, ready to pay the $125 repair fee, only to be told they couldn’t be fixed because they were glued, not stitched. That was never explained at purchase. The associate turned me down, and the whole thing felt like a giant letdown. I came expecting a solution, but they didn’t deliver. I won’t be shopping here again.

“Honestly, I've been to plenty of Adidas stores, and I have to say this has been the best Adidas store I've ever come across. What they lack in quantity they make up for quality. I have to give a huge shoutout to the sales rep or manager whoever she is, Jackie I think was the name. She was absolutely helpful and did not struggle to answer any questions that I had. I will definitely come back to this Adidas store.”

“Great selection of clothes. Lines are always long so be prepared to wait. Order pick up takes a while every time I go but the staff is always nice and the store is always clean and organized. I prefer this location to all of the other ones I’ve been to.”

“I flew down to LA to skate, and my kingpin snapped the first day in town. The gentleman working there tried his best to get out my broken kingpin.But the kingpin is stuck in there so good, I ended up just having to get a new truck.They don’t have any RKP for sale, rather than selling me a TKP and call it good. They gave me a few shop recommendations that sells RKP truck.Even though I didn’t ended up spendy any money there, they still treat me respectfully and were hella helpful.If you need any skate stuff, go support this business!!!”
“It is a great store with excellent customer service if the two young ladies working there change their attitude, get off their phones, and stop gossiping to help the customers. There is a man who made my experience great when I purchased two Ugg Tasman boots and great when my parents came to buy three pairs of Birkenstocks. Unfortunately, my sandals did not fit, and I returned to change the size. I went into the store on Tuesday to exchange the size, but I saw the clogs. And I asked a young man if I could buy the Boston clogs instead, and he said yes. I was unaware that he gave me a narrow fit (until today, December 28, Friday that I came into the store), and the shoes did not fit quite right with socks on when I got home on Tuesday. I came in today, and the two young ladies at the front made my experience not so great. If it weren’t for the older, tall lady there today, I probably wouldn’t have come home with my clogs in my correct size. I am now aware what size I am because of the lady who assisted me! I didn't catch their names, but I went to the store on December 28, 2023, in the morning. I hope the customer service continues being great and that those two young ladies start doing what their job entails and help their customers.”

“I walked into the store looking for collar stays. There was a customer in front of me and the shopkeeper stated just wait a moment. When the shopkeeper had a moment break with the other customer, he just handed me a pair of collar stays and said "just take them". Unfortunately I didn't have any cash on me at the moment just to tip him for the generosity. Great customer service and I thank you.”

“I forgot my guys name that helped me out , but he was legit !!!! I knew what I wanted , I asked for the shoe , he got it from the back , and I was out. I had to catch my flight , he made it quick and easy !!! Price was legit I thought , 400 for some 5s " what tha ". He said he could get any shoe i wanted and he could ship to me in TX. He also gave me a t-shirt as a gift , it says " f*** X " the dude was a bad a** mother fucker !! Definitely recommend the store !! I'll be back fa sho !!”

“I ordered shoes online that were delivered to my home in Colorado. Unfortunately they were the wrong shoes. I was traveling to California so I worked with customer service to find my shoes in the Los Angeles area. I dealt with Lily, the store manager at the JD Sports location in the Westfield shopping area, to secure my shoes and have them ready for me on my arrival. She was awesome and the reason I am writing this review. She was extremely friendly and helpful and got me the shoes I originally ordered, along with giving me a discount for my troubles.
