“Before getting a PO Box I read reviews for Mtn. View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Los Altos. I've dealt with Mtn. View before. They're weird and they suck. Sunnyvale keeps tearing down their USPS places. Cupertino review was fair but Los Altos had the best review and when I went the lady couldn't have been nicer. She took care of business and I was out of there in 5 minutes.”

“I want to highlight Ranjan’s outstanding customer service at this USPS location. All the staff out here is very courteous in general but I only happened to get on Ranjan's counter for most of my visits. Her courteous, professional, and friendly approach makes every visit a pleasant experience. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customers feel valued and supported, leaving a positive impression every time. I sometimes drive out of the way to this location as it is always a pleasant experience.”

“I had to punch my package into the dropbox inside this post office because it was a very tight fit and even though I was elbow deep in the box at one point & my arm got stuck for a few seconds nobody confronted me about it so I rate this Post Office 5/5 stars for minding their own dang beeswax.”

“On the 1st of July, I had to send out a letter. It was my first time using the USPS by Jackson St, but I was truly amazed by Bravo. She was one the most knowledgeable, kind, professional, genuine staff that I ever met. I firmly believe she should be promoted, as she was taking care of everyone with the same care and dedication. The way she brightens everybody was a real gift!! 5/5 (would go beyond 5 stars, if possible).”

“Got my fingerprints taken here on a Saturday morning (because the first USPS location I went to, Redwood City, wasn't doing fingerprints for the day). The woman running it seemed a little anxious about getting through everyone before closing, but she was friendly and helped me do like 5 attempts of fingerprinting on my right hand until we got a print the machine accepted. It seems like the system has an arbitrary 15 minute time limit per person she couldn't do anything about, so she was trying really hard to work quickly so I wouldn't time out.”
“The post office has been around for 250+ years. Are you all just crawling out of a rock? Stop supporting AI and do some research on how to mail. It takes about 5 seconds just as much time as it would take the clerk to explain.”

“The lady was very polite and helpful. I have never sent a package before and needed to do this for lawyers. It worked out well. She helped ensure that all the details were correct and she is very courteous.”
“My review is for passport application with an appointment. I had a smooth experience for this service. I was second in line when I reached 15 minutes before my appointment. I was served within 10 minutes of me being in line. The staff member helping us (Annaysa) was courteous and took care of all of our documents very well. She spotted a mismatch in one of the documents which probably could have gotten our application rejected. Within 10 minutes, we were done with our application review, oath-taking and mailing our application. Very happy with the service I received here.”
“I had a great experience at the USPS location thanks to Naina. I arrived close to closing time with an important piece of mail that needed to go out the same day, and she went out of her way to help me get everything processed quickly and correctly.
Despite it being the end of the day, she was patient, professional, and very kind. She made sure my mail was sent without any issues, which I truly appreciated given the urgency.

“I have a good experience with the staff for passport. I came after lunch to try my luck with walk in without appt and the staff was able to accommodate me since there was a last minute cancellation . Easy breezy once you have all the doc ready. I do have online appt at this location on different date and they asked me to cancel immediately so others can book it.”
“I know most USPS are understaffed and still try to provide reasonable service. I was helped by John Rich over the email and phone for missing mail - he did all the research, fixed the problem and then called me back. The service was on par with customer service I would have gotten from Amazon - I want to say Costco also - but that might get me in trouble from high standard-expecting Costco customers like me.”
“I have been using this post office for as long as it has been there and have found the staff to be mostly helpful, courteous, and friendly. Sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes give or take.”
“Not that hard to find. You just have to park across the street in lot 6. Just look for the sign VA Hospital Station, United States Post Office. The woman inside was actually quite friendly!”

“I don't know if they will see this review but thank you so much for helping me today! I had a great experience at this USPS. I have an important mail that was mailed to my old address by accident. Once I placed a ticket on USPS main website, this local post office contacted me within an hour and was able to resolve my concern within the next hour and I was able to come pick it up without any issue the next day! Everyone was helpful and friendly!”

“The bad reviews are justifiable, especially since the USPS website is not helpful at all. However, when you do know the correct pick-up hours, then there's not much to complain about. I had to pick up some mail because my address isn't fully validated or something, and it took under 5 minutes for them to find it all.
They should consider adding another timeslot, like on a weekend or maybe in the evening.”

“This is one of two Post Offices in the area that I know of that has a Self-Service Kiosk AND where the lobby is open 24 hours - AMAZING ? LIFE SAVER! The other Post Office with 24-hour Kiosk access is in downtown Mountain View. SO GRATEFUL! I can never make it to the post office before they close - so I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 24-hr Self-Service Kiosk. You can buy postage, get Priority Mail packaging and mail it all on your own. We are so lucky to have this available to us and I hope they never decide to close the lobby. Thank you USPS. Big fan of this service!”
