“I have to admit that the management or system used for 2025 during the busy season (November-December) have improved substantially compared to the last 10 years.
The key thing was keeping the drop off bin free of packages getting stuck especially for those that drop off ton of packages. Otherwise you'll have to wait in line just to drop off which could be worse when there are only 1 employee working the front.
The most annoying thing would be that the outer door can be locked at times before 9am which means you can't access the drop off bin or PO Boxes earlier.”
“Went there for passport application. Was called in a few minutes before our scheduled time. Ryan was clear with his communication and efficient--he took the photograph soon after he photographed the customer before us--and then we waited in the lobby for our turn. We were done with our submission in 9 minutes. Of course, it helped that we had carried photocopies of the documents required, so he didn't have to spend time on that. Overall, great experience. This is the 3rd post office I have tried for passport services in the last 12 years. This is where I'll go in the future.”
“Gus was friendly and efficient, he truly seemed to care about the customers. I even complimented him, I believe he's the friendliest worker I've ever encountered at any Post Office.
I do wish this location had Saturday hours again though.”
“I prefer the post office that has a self service kiosk in the lobby like the Covina Post Office. Though small and any couple of clerks at the counter, it's been very efficient for me to use.”
“Love our little post office. We had a po box here years ago and still come by occasionally for shipping. I do love the convenience and that little machine you can use for postage, but I really enjoy talking to the staff here. They’re always friendly, and I especially love the brunette women who greets you with a warm “hi mija.” it just makes the whole experience feel a little more personal ?”
“I had a great experience at the Covina United States Postal Service office while helping my husband get his passport for the first time. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. It was super easy to make the appointment online, and when we arrived, everyone was friendly and helpful. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and walked us through the steps clearly. “I find then more than reasonable in there services ? Sometime it’s the visitor who r holding the line ? By not thinking about other next in line ? They take there time arranging there papers , moving like turtles . Overall , this location deserve an A ?”
“I booked an appointment at another branch for passport service a month ago, but it was suddenly canceled via email around 6:00 AM on the very morning of my appointment.
I was so frustrated and stressed, but I decided to try a walk-in at this branch.
Thankfully, Ivette was super nice, professional, and made a wonderful impression. Thanks to her amazing customer service, everything went smoothly. She completely saved my day! Highly recommend this location. 🙏👍👏”

“My only complaint is that the outside mailboxes for some reason were locked. It made no sense to me as to why. I was there during regular business hours. The drive thru mailboxes were open so why were the others locked?”
“All I can say with 100% certainty is that this location and their staff is a 1000 times better than the Diamond Bar location on South Diamond Bar Blvd. They don't forgot to put the shipping label on your packages here. The DB location does, they forget and then blame you. I drive all the way here to avoid that location. That staff should be fired and the location closed.”

“I am responding to the several selfish, unthoughtful negative reviews posted recently. I have come to this post office for more than 20 years, beginning from the time I was a student at the nearby colleges. I have noticed how USPS head office have steadily reduced the staff, services, and capabilities here while the number of customers has remained the same or grown. Head Office has set up this post office and hundreds more like it to fail. Your unthoughtful complaints are not helping. Meanwhile, staff here struggle valiantly on. I thank them for doing their best in spite of conditions beyond their control. May I recommend before you slam the staff here that you consider writing first to USPS Washington DC and your representatives. Thank you.”
“Sergio the manager or person in charge definitely runs a tight ship, has all his clerks on check and on point, they have helped me tremendously on all my shipping needs for my business, his mail carriers too do a great job. I've had a few issues here and there but Sergio addresses it promptly anytime I have brought it to his attention. Love this post office, been coming here for years.”

“We all know that all Post offices are shortstaffed, but the Pomona post office is exceptionally helpful. Well staffed even when they're a long lines. The people do their best to help you. I wish that customers would realize that it's not the workers fault that they don't have enough people to work thank you for Pomona Post Office. 💜”
“It's a very small post office, right off Irwindale Ave and Arrow Hwy, on a side street directly across from a city park and the Irwindale Police Station. The parking lot has 4 spots, one is disabled only, however, there is parking permitted at it's curb on the street, which is why 4 stars. If you arrive at 2:00pm during weekdays, you'll have to come back at 2:30pm to allow the employees their lunch break. There's also the drive-up out-going stamped mailbox with the Priority Mailbox and Express in the parking area. It isn't as big as the Covina Post Office on Rimsdale or the West Covina P.O. nearby the West Covina Fashion Plaza which may discourage some but I find a bonus for no waiting, generally. It has a handicapped entrance and ramp next to disabled spot. And I've yet to see any of the postal employees being rude or unhelpful to any of the customers and there definitely is no woman by the door asking if you need stamps (really? it's so small, she'd get in the way if she existed) as one review claimed. I just like it because it's quick and easy if I need to go inside.”

Veretta has always been excellent and friendly and I have not seen Anh in a very long time who was also very good but these new ones at the front counter are beyond a wonderful needed and welcomed change here. “I recently visited this USPS office to drop off a package for shipment, and while the overall experience was efficient, I encountered an issue with the package drop-off.Upon entering the USPS office, I was pleased to see that there was not a long line or significant wait time. The service seemed to be well-managed, and the staff appeared attentive and ready to assist customers. This was definitely a positive aspect of my visit, as I was able to save time and complete my transaction quickly.However, when I attempted to use the package drop-off, I encountered a problem. The drop-off slot was jammed, preventing me from properly depositing my package. I tried a couple of times, but unfortunately, it remained stuck. It was disappointing to encounter this issue, as the convenience of a functioning drop-off is one of the main reasons I choose USPS for shipping my packages.Despite the jammed drop-off, the staff promptly noticed my struggle and came to my assistance. They were courteous and did their best to resolve the issue promptly. While I appreciated their efforts, it was still a minor inconvenience that could have been avoided if the drop-off had been properly maintained.I understand that occasional technical difficulties can occur, but it is essential for USPS to ensure that all equipment, including package drop-offs, are regularly checked and maintained to provide a seamless customer experience.Overall, while the lack of long lines and wait times was a positive aspect, the jammed package drop-off was a significant inconvenience. I hope USPS takes note of such issues and implements measures to prevent them in the future. Despite this setback, I appreciate the efforts of the staff in addressing the problem promptly.”

“I don't understand why everyone is complaining, honestly. Probably because the worse of an experience you have, the more likely you are to remember to rate it. My package arrived at Anaheim late Friday afternoon. The distribution center is closed over the weekend, but they got it out of there very quickly this Monday morning, crossed the country, and my package is already out for delivery!”
