“This review is long overdue. I can't believe I've been coming here for 7 years! I've had both Ceramic Pro and the PPF applied to my vehicle. Since the original application, I have returned every year for an annual inspection of the Ceramic Pro. This past week, I did my yearly annual inspection and they applied an additional layer of the Ceramic Pro at no additional cost. My car now looks better than the day I purchased it. The level of service provided by Marvin and his team is truly outstanding and exceptional. They have even provided me with rides home on occasion to save me from paying rideshare costs. I highly recommend this business and cannot say enough good things about them – you won’t be disappointed!”
“Brought my wife's Audi Q5 in for service and wanted to know what needed to be done. I was not happy with prior service done by the dealership and felt ripped off. Rich was great and took the time to explain what needed to be done and how making decisions based solely on time as opposed to mileage/usage was an eye opener. i dropped off my cummins pickup after over tightening a fitting and cracking the case. they had the transmission out quickly and within a couple days had it torn down and were able to inform me i was going to need a full rebuild rather than the case swap i had come in for. they did not hesitate to send pictures of the smoked clutches and any evidence backing their claim.
they had my truck done in under a week and the price was fair for the quality of work and customer service i received. the technician that performed repairs on my truck also answered any questions that i had so it’s always a plus to get to talk to them. i’d bring them any of my vehicles for transmission work and recommend them to anyone looking.”

“Had a check engine light come on said “Emissions System Problem” stopped here at around noon on Saturday although the gentleman there I didn’t get his name was working on a smog he said let me get to a stopping point and I’ll check it for you in less than 5 minutes he had the reader on the car and it read an issue with the gas cap area I explained to him the female section on the gas tank was a little crooked from filling up at a gas station where the gas hoses reached around to either side and I snapped it back into place yesterday . He says that’s most likely the issue and cleared the warning light told me if it comes back on to just come on back extremely polite and very helpful was able to get this done on my lunch break too with plenty of time before going back to work thank you smogstation”
“I took my 2010 Lexus Gx460 here for an estimate on new breaks, new radiator and thermostat. The estimate was completely free and the grand total for labor and parts was abou t $1900. We had taken our car to a different place in San Ramon previously and was quoted almost $4000 for the same work. Russell was so easy to work with, he was honest, up front about the labor and pricing, and I didn't feel ANY pressure to fix or replace anything that wasn't necessary. It's really hard to find a car mechanic that's trustworthy and fair priced and Russell is definitely that guy.”

“I was able to submit photos of my Tesla’s damage online. This saved me a trip to the body shop. I was provided with an estimate in timely fashion aft r submitting photos online.
.My appointment for service was not scheduled until the necessary part was received. This avoided the unfortunate experience of having to wait for parts AFTER the vehicle was delivered for service.
Servic was prompt—within the initial time frame provided. My car was spotless and charged when I arrived to pick it up. I couldn’t ask for anything more!”

“Would HIGHLY recommend Ashton Auto!!! Spoke on the phone with many many shops to get quotes to repair my mom’s high mileage 2007 Lexus, and while most quotes were similar in price (minus the dealer), what made me choose this place was the interaction with Ashton and Steve on the phone. They were very kind, patient and very honest about what could happen during the repair and what the price was for each situation. What initially was a $1500 “worst case scenario” quote actually turned out to be $900 upon completion. They were communicating throughout the whole process and I am very happy with the service! “Rick and his team were fast, professional, and did a great job. I came in with my ford escape because the dip stick broke and fell in the chamber during an oil change. I was directed to Rick to take care of it and it was paid for by the oil change shop. Rick made me feel very comfortable. Right after getting the escape fixed, I brought in my Honda civic to fix the AC. Rick quoted both cost and time. He had the car ready sooner than promised and the AC works great. I've found my go to mechanic and shop. As long as Rick is in charge of Automotive Consultants, I don't see myself going anywhere else.”

“Got my tires rotated today. Overall did a great job. Customer service can be improved though. Talked to manager Monica. Didn't really felt like I was welcome and just felt rushed. Maybe improve on customer service as this makes a whole lot of difference on customer experience and whether they would want to come back in the future. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars. But thanks anyway team!”
