“I had to reach out personally regarding the PAXIO on-boarding experience to say that I could not be happier with the extraordinary customer-centric level of care I have received throughout a busy workday today despite a few surprises along the way.First, Renae called me around 9:30 AM to let me know that the technician would need to prioritize a network performance issue over my 10 AM installation. We agreed to reschedule for mid-afternoon.Second, tech supervisor Jose called me around 1 PM to finesse the technician's exact arrival window. In addition, he promised to provide an extra credit on our account for the timing change inconvenience since we already received the first month free.Third, tech Yurny arrived around 2 PM nearly half an hour before the promised deadline and once buzzed into the building, patiently waited for our front desk person to return from a late lunch before coming up so he could collect the ISP closet key himself.Fourth, Yurny immediately completed a quick walk-through of our unit and honed in on our condo-level ISP closet. After a quick trip upstairs to the central ISP closet on the 4th floor, he came back down and completed a successful speed test on his Macbook showing symmetrical speeds in the ideal ~950 Mbps range.Fifth, Yurny patiently waited while I rebooted my routers to restore our network to active broadcast configuration while completing my own speed tests before he departed. On his way out the door, he shook my hand and gave me his cell number if I encounter any issues going forward.Could not recommend more highly! You won't regret giving PAXIO your business!”

“Jorge is an excellent employee. My 2 sons came in the store last week and he let them know that he could take care of their broken phone situation and to let me know . So I came in today and this guy rocks. He got my 3 line bill switched over to a 6 line bill with Wi-Fi internet and I am now paying like $500 less than i previously paid. And he got my 2 sons new phones. I can’t tell you how happy I was to be paying less money for more products and services. If I could I would give Jorge a thousand (1000) stars for his service. “I recently switched from T-Mobile to Verizon. I needed assistance with the transition process after calling customer service and being told I needed to do in person verification. I was very disappointed to go into the Lakeshore location just to be told to call customer service. The person I spoke with didn’t offer to help by calling customer service with me. I changed my pin, got my account number and felt like I was left to do her job. I came in expecting to get support with something I wasn’t familiar with and left feeling worse than coming in. It was a great reminder why I went to Verizon.
UPDATE: I went in today and Michael and Mark both helped me figure out my transfer pin. So happy with them. I felt supported.”

“Expert. Trustworthy. Reliable help. 2024 UPDATE As a small business owner I've used LMI's IT and repair services for over a decade. LMI is the only IT service I trust that works with home offices like mine. Worth my crossing the Bay for! Yes I looked around closer to home. One IT service, in my neighborhood, sold me a bad charger that fried my laptop battery. Not trust-inspiring-- if they got a charger wrong, what could happen with their IT? I had Internet , too, through LMI. Then switched to Sonic's high-speed fiber, *only* because Sonic reached my area with that before LMI did. LMI's now expanding their own high-speed fiber. I kept my LMI email boxes for years after. That gave me time to gradually, selectively migrate my business contacts over, and archive key emails. With that finally done, LMI's Support team walked me through my last steps. With the same generous, expert support I've always gotten from LMI. So glad to keep LMI's IT and repair services! And fully recommend LMI's high-speed Internet too. PRIVACY Both LMI and Sonic are stellar when it comes to protecting our privacy. No selling our browsing history, as most Internet Providers do. They don't even keep our emails beyond a few weeks or so. Plus they're independent, and staying that way!”

“Jim is great. He runs Brand-X super professionally and has a deep understanding of network setups and concerns. They piggy back off ATT, so you do have to worry about ATT being spotty and shafting bandwidth lessees, but this is the case with many of the big companies too (many just use the others' infrastructure in a given place). Billing is honest and accurate, and services is second to none. The only reason not to use Brand-X is if you need guaranteed uptime like a business line, but otherwise they're the best in the Bay!”

“I would give them 5stars but Verizon as a corporation makes that impossible - they can be so difficult to deal with. That said, I have been a Verizon customer for 4 years (owned a GTE wireless phone back in the day) and this is the only store in driving distance form out North Berkeley home that I will go to. Staffa re generally helpful, well trained, knowledgeable and responsive. I like to buy my phones in person and I have purchased a number of phones here over the years for my business. I used to also go to the Berkeley store but it is a licensee now that can't be trusted. Of the major cell companies, Verizon is imho still the best though their nickle and diming does get to me sometimes.”
