Unlike another one I went to, the staff here are friendly, there's sometimes a short line but it always moves fast, I know I don't need to worry or think about my package again once it's in their hands. Parking is also easy. It's overall an easy, enjoyable experience. This will definitely be my go to UPS store from now on.”

“The nicest people in town own this business. They are so helpful and kind. I have had a mailbox here for at least 10 years. Even when I moved out the area I still kept my box here because of the customer service. When I moved back to town I was glad I kept it because the word was out that this is the place to do business. I absolutely adore Tim and Marry Tess. Now their children work there too and they are the sweetest. The apple did not fall far from the tree. If you need a mailbox, copy service, or if your mailing something off, please go here and do business with them, you will be glad you did.”

“I needed a document notarized and overnited to a title company in Washington. I found the closest UPS store in the Richmond Marina area and called. Voice mail. You know it's not going to get answered when they ask you to leave the date and time you called. Surprise, they never called me back. Instead, I headed over to see them in person. No notary there and they were not sure when she would be there. Great. From the parking lot, I called the UPS store off San Pablo. They answered and were ready to help. In about 10 minutes, I pulled up in front. Fantastic service. Very fun to talk to and would do business with them again in a heartbeat.”

“This is a fantastic alternative to the post office for sending and receiving mail. This long-time small business offers inexpensive PO Boxes (much less than the post office) and safe package receiving, with notary services, and smart service. You can send via UPS or USPS. There is a no-nonsense vibe when you go in, but there is also a clear integrity that you NEED for mail and for notary services. I will be happy to never go to the post office again, and it will be great to not have to worry about my mail being stolen - as is happening all over the area.”

“I have been coming here for years and everyone who has helped has always been super friendly. A few weeks ago though, Nick truly went above and beyond. I showed up with a dozen packages right when they were about to close. The register and lights were already off and he was walking out the door. He offered to stay, but once I told him how many packages I had and that I still needed to handwrite the addresses, he thought of a solution where he could lock up and close the interior gate, but have me leave my packages in the PO box lobby and the shut the lobby door when I was done. I'm pretty sure USPS, Fedex, and UPS wouldn't have been able to provide a win/win solution like that. I'm so glad to have this service in the neighborhood!”
“I can't recommend this shop enough! It has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and eager to help. The prices are quite reasonable. They helped me create my garden club booklet, giving advice along the way. I was extremely happy with the finished product. They also have a fabulous greeting card selection! Stop in for a simple copy or a complex printing job. You won't be disappointed!”

“Quick and easy process. Had a big box to mail out of state. Didn't charge me for tape or anything nitpicky like that. Just weighed it, had me input the shipping info, payment, out the door. Man at the counter was very polite and efficient. Will be coming back to this location and recommending it to friends when they need to ship something quickly.”
“Customer service here is great, they are always friendly and helpful. I go pretty regularly to make returns and have never had a bad experience. Obviously it’s slow sometimes and the line gets backed up but that’s to be expected with a small shop.”
“I shouldn't be so cheap and unappreciative I got the coolest carnival celebration stamps with fireworks on them. I never have to wait long at this post office and it's right next to the Ashy BART station! The exterior is kind of unusual which is probably why it's getting 3 stars on average. It's a good post office. Don't listen to the other reviews.
Even the downtown Oakland Post Office has run out of money order forms, on occasion. They're not a bank cheapskate, they shouldn't be required to handle large sums. I've seen some people get money orders for thousands at some Post Offices. It's old school *not* dingy.”
