“I have been to many Indian grocery stores and this is The One. Amazing selection of items in a clean, organized space. I could spend all day here just perusing. The marinated chicken is delicious, and they have both spicy and mild options. They also have a great selection of fresh produce, including okra, which is hard to come by elsewhere.The other reviews here are unanimous about the excellent customer service, and I wholeheartedly join them in this praise. I was immediately greeted with kindness and assistance, and felt very welcomed. Their pride in their work is evident. This store is deserving of all the praise it receives. “Came to get some Masa for New Years. Staff were really nice and accommodating. We ended up also ordering a couple of their tamales and the Ranchero Super Burrito. The tamales and the Ranchero burrito were really good. Full of flavor and had a nice spicy kick. I really enjoyed the burrito and will be getting another one soon lol. The masa was really fresh and helped me make the best tamales.”

“Today I was grabbing a few things from TJ’s for dinner and the cashier was very up beat. I apologized to her for being so morose but I’d put my cat away yesterday (he had cancer) and I just wanted to get home to grieve. Along with the offer of a hug she gave me a small bouquet of flowers while offering her condolences.I wish I had looked at her name tag because she deserves lots of thanks for her offers of support and sympathy on a day which is very hard for me. Thank you!”

“Great grocery store and deli. Yesterday I was buying lunch for three so I got a gyro plate, chicken kabob plate, and a vegetarian plate. All came with flatbread, fluffy saffron rice, hummus, a delicious eggplant-pepper side dish, and a spicy pickle. Unlike some other local places the food is not greasy, just fresh and tasty. Pro tips: The menu is posted on the very back wall, so head all of the way to the back to order. Ignore the "daily specials" messaging, they'll make you anything you want any day of the week. Order first, then shop. Everything is made to order, so it will take about 20 minutes to get your food. They'll eventually bring your food to the front counter where you pay. Grocery shopping: All of the breads are great, but check for freshness. You can usually tell what bread is fresh that day. Halva butter is amazing on toast, as are the jars of "nuts in honey." Huge selection of sesame cookies, all of which are good. Great selection of spices, olives, pickles, figs, rice, cous cous, frozen meats, and deli meats.”

“Got a kabob wrap from here recently that was unbelievably delicious. Not sure how consistent they sell them or advertise them, but they really should be selling them more often because they are really good, especially because they use they naan they bake daily as the wrap. Heavenly! This is also my go to Afg naan spot, this place is a staple for many diaspora Afghans in the area!! Hidden gem.”

“This is my go-to for Asian groceries! They have Asian vegetables that you don't see at a typical grocery store, unique sauces, dried noodles, fun snacks, etc. They also have a small kitchen in the back of the store, serving spicy Laos papaya salad (my favorite) wings, lunch/dinner rice plates, etc. The owners/employees and very friendly, I always talk to the nice lady that rings me up. The place is very clean too!”

“Beat lamb chops in town. Hands down.This place is a store that opened up a little restaurant type style in the back. It is very informal and that one time had no covering at all. It’s simply on the side of the building however, don’t let the setting for you. Some of the best meat, rice and salad I have ever had.I’ve been coming off anon for the last year, and I believe they are open only Thursday through Saturday but you can’t go wrong with any of the food.I’ve never ate at a place where anything the brain is amazing.For dessert go with the baklava. some of the best in town.The fish is also very good, but the lamb chops are like no other.”

Per Say, if you are having a fabulous day and you go to this store, one day the person at the front counter is rude and displays horrible customer service, just someone that makes you not feel welcomed and pretty much gives off bad energy.
