“Went there for a sling bag, found it, all good. But then tried getting some help with a unique request, and although they didn't have exactly what I needed they tried helping me think outside the box to achieve what I was after. I appreciate that!
Also got a surprise at checkout, apparently I had $45 in credit on my account so the $60 sling bag actually cost me $15, nice!!
All in all, about typical for my REI experience: professional, helpful, fast. Thanks guys!! Side note: maybe expand your skydiver section!!!!”

He is there on the weekends shows up around 130pm if you need any help look around for me and I can get you started.HAVE SOME FUN IN THE SUN THIS SUMMER AND GO FLY A KITE!”
“Decided to take the plunge (well many plunges) and learn to wing foil. Matt was an awesome instructor for my first lesson. I was hooked. The next day, I met with Jane to buy gear. She was very patient ( as I barely knew which end was up ) and made recommendations for an appropriate board and wing for my size. Again, she remained very patient as she walked me through the set up and inflation process. We were rewarded at the end of our session with a beautiful onshore wind and we were both able to get out on the water. (Well, I was more in than on). There is nothing that can compare to the personal service provided by Boardsports California. As I progress, and my equipment needs change, I will be consulting with Boardsports (by phone , chat or Zoom) since I’m not local to the Bay Area) . They are experts on the water and experts in passing their knowledge to their customers.”
