“Excellent Service at Westwood USPS
I am absolutely amazed by the service at the United States Postal Service in Westwood. Every single letter I send from this location reaches its recipient without any issues. In the past, my mail would often get lost when sent from other branches, but here everything works flawlessly!
The staff are wonderful — always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions. They work quickly and accurately, and they know exactly when to suggest additional services. Everything here is just perfect. Thank you!”

“Greatest Post Office on earth. Seriously, the entire team from Lupe to Daniel to Raul have allowed me to grow my business faster than I had ever hoped.Looking for a Post Office with actually super friendly employees and great service? Well, turns out it exists and it’s nestled nicely within Topanga.My only concern is that the team seems to be understaffed and overworked since the new Postmaster took over. The team works as hard as humanly possible, but there are still limits to what can be reasonably accomplished with only one or two employees at the front, especially as we approach the busiest time of the year for packages and mail.Thank you team!Andy”
“I went in to deliver a package to Wisconsin and the man at the desk, Mickey, was so kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to explain what the best option would be for delivering my fragile package. “Nelson Soto is a supervisor at North Hollywood Post Office, he is amazing.. He spoke like a true gentleman and went out on his own time to make sure my over night package was delivered..

“Only 4 stars because of the long wait ( 1hr outside, about 2 inside just waiting) but know that I did not have an appointment. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful AND friendly! (Though tired, they're dealing with a lot).
1. Make sure your documents are COMPLETELY filled out BEFORE coming. If not I guess do it in line outside but bring a clipboard or something to write on. They do have a LIMITED supply of paper applications and they run out so that's why they recommend coming with your own.
2. Be prepared to wait. Bring water, headphones, a portable charger for your phone, a book, playing cards, whatever. You're gonna have to kill some time. There is AC inside and god bless them a fan (and it's hot) but there's an outside area with tables should you brave the heat (some of them have umbrellas so it's not too bad). One lady brought lunch with her. Queen.
3. Be prepared to STAND too. There aren't enough chairs. Wear comfortable shoes.
4. There are NO public bathrooms.
5. There are vending machines that are cash/coin only. Not sure if it's expensive but at least those are an option.
6. There was a fruit vendor near here and that fruit looked glorious in this heat so BRING CASH and support your local vendor.
All in all, my partners appointment only took him like 5 mins lol. Other people's seem to take way longer.”
“Postal service gentleman is friendly and helpful. PO closes between 1-2 pm on weekdays. Crowded parking lot. Watch out for unsafe motorists who make unsafe turns against the direction of traffic flow.”
“This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. I agree with a fellow Yelper - Sandra has been a great. Recommended.”
“I came in with some assorted boxes and envelopes unsure about the exact postage to use, and Marisa was so patient and helpful. She gave the best advice to spend less money and even let me use some tape to seal up my box. I've been to many other LA post office branches and never left feeling happier than when I went in. Marisa is a treasure!”
“I stopped by this USPS office to drop of an Amazon return. I been to the plaza this USPS office is in so many times but never knew there was a USPS here. I found parking easily since this office is in a plaza with many parking spots. When I walked inside the post office, there was no one in line so I was able to walk up and hand my package since everything was paid for already. I got my receipt and left, it was a simple and easy process.”

Parking spots are sparse, but there are a couple of large parking lots nearby and the streets have parking too”

Postmasters on Riverside Dr is hands down my go-to for shipping. The two gentlemen there are always super helpful and really know the ins and outs—whether I’m shipping to family in New York or sending packages internationally.
I’m writing this review because they saved me big time. Today, FedEx wanted $180 per package (plus box fees) to ship two large boxes to Utah. I went to Postmasters instead and they got it down to $88.20 per package. Huge difference.
Honest, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. I won’t ship anywhere else.”
“The only thing wrong with this post office is chronic lack of staff. There was only one person working in the building when I was here two years ago, and it is still the case, despite long lines. I have found the staff to be polite and conscientious though they are under considerable stress. What is wrong with the US Postal Service? It is a lovely building, centrally located. Yes, there’s parking, but many users get there by bike or on foot. Lots of post boxes and I almost always see people picking up their mail. Plus there’s a mural! Please, USPS, provide the resources and a full staff so this facility can properly serve this lively community. And kudos to the staff that ARE there and serving the public in very difficult circumstances.”
“Idk what ppl are talking about, I scheduled an appointment for my passport came in, lady at the desk was very kind turns out I was missing a copy and she was super helpful told me to just go down the street and get a copy, came back and was in and out in 15 minutes workers were all cordial and nice, much much better than any DMV or passport office I’ve ever been to definitely will come here next time”
“My most favorite USPS location in the Westwood/West LA area. Always greeted with a smile by the postal workers. Never a long line. I find the workers here patient in answering questions unlike their counterparts at the Exposition Blvd location who never fail to give me attitude like I am bothering them on vacation.”
“Last week, I found myself in a bit of a pickle when I realized I had forgotten to mail a birthday card to my grandma in Slovakia. The main post office was closed, and only Feve was working. It was almost closing time, and there were at least four people ahead of me trying to use the self-mailing machine. I asked Feve if they had any birthday cards for sale, but she informed me that they did not. However, she kindly pointed me to a nearby store where I could purchase one. She also mentioned that the self-mailing machine doesn’t accept postcards to Europe unless I already have a forever stamp. Her suggestion was to try the UPS store next door.
I followed her advice and bought a card, but when I got to the UPS Store, I was shocked to learn that it would cost over $300 to ship it, outrageous!
I returned to the post office, hoping for a small miracle as it was just about 4:58 PM or maybe even 5 PM. When I explained how much the UPS store wanted to ship the card. Without hesitation, Feve stepped in to help me. She unlocked the door to the main post office and got me the forever stamps. Thanks to her quick actions, I didn't fail, and made my 90-year-old grandma happy.

The two fellows that seem to be there most often are so effusively friendly and helpful! To the point where one of them, I believe his name is Jackie, got me something green to wear on Saint Patrick's Day so I wouldn't get pinched. We've since moved and I genuinely miss having those nice moments when I'd run errands. To those who can frequent this post office, please take some time to appreciate it!”
