“The people at Banner Bank, and especially the Escondido branch have always been amazing to work with. I have been with them since 2010 and am sadly switching banks (moved to a different state with no Banner branches). A few automatic payments that I had forgotten to switch over to the new account went through and over drafted my account. Roxanne, the branch manager, called me completely unprompted to let me know what was going on, and she and Theresa worked with me to get some of the charges refunded. She was also super helpful explaining the easiest way to move my savings over to the new bank. I am sad to be closing my accounts with Banner, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone else.”

“Pacific Premier Bank had the best rates, of anywhere else I checked, for CD’s. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional and they treat their customers better than any other bank I’ve used. I would recommend this bank to anyone that wants personal service and wants the feeling that you’re not just another account.”
“I have a very good experience with MFCU when i open a savings and checking account. The lady that heps me to open an account is very helpful. When i went to SDCCU to open a personal account, they turn me down because of my low credit score, but with MFCU they gave me a chance. And i was grateful for that.”
“I was at the bank this past Saturday and saw a female teller handle an unnecessarily difficult customer. A Caucasian man in front of me was talking down to her and acting like he was some VIP, but from what I overheard he didn’t even have an account with Chase.
Despite his poor attitude, the teller stayed calm, professional, and patient the entire time. She genuinely did her best to help someone who clearly just wanted to make her job harder. Meanwhile, after all that posturing, he ended up doing the walk of shame right out of the bank when he realized he didn’t have what he claimed he did.
Much props to the teller for handling herself with professionalism and composure under pressure.”
“Excellent service and follow up. I am having some issues with AutoNation Mazda pushing my loan through as needed and agreed upon (they are sitting on it and delaying the process on their end with no issues on my or SDCCU's end) and I had called SDCCU to see if and what I can do, and if this normal for the process to take this long. The VP/Branch Manager-MLO, Molly, took the time to call me, advise me, tell me not to worry and that they will follow up to assist in getting AutoNation to follow up on their end and complete the loan process. She followed up with a couple phone calls and emails and has already done more than AutoNation has. EXCELLENT service with taking the time and having the knowledge on the process is so much appreciated with something that was supposed to go smoothly on the dealer's end. Thank you, Molly!”
“I have been with this bank since they were Grossmont bank back in the 90s, and customer service has always been excellence, small lines, never waiting very long, and once when my debit card was hijacked, they called me immediately.”

“I have always liked this branch but because of travel not here often. Yesterday I had an opportunity to stop in and now I say, I love this branch. I had two small transactions but the service I received from Patricia was nothing small. I felt so good during my visit asked if I could fill out a survey. There wasn't one available so I'm telling Patricia and her coworkers that service is not dead and that this employee was outstanding. Patricia greeted me , quickly took care of my transactions flawlessly thanked me for my visit and then smiled at me. She was courteous, professional and in times when service is all the employees can give a customer, she knocked it out of the park. Cal Coast , you need more Patricia's!!!”

But that’s not all. Around the world, bankers have just learned about a new technology. Something called an automated teller machine has been deployed in London and it’s going to allow consumers to get cash...without anyone having to walk into a branch. It was a big deal for financial institutions (FIs) and their customers. No longer bound to banking hours when they just needed some cash, customers widely embraced ATMs—which probably didn’t surprise the man most often credited for its invention: British inventor John Shepherd-Brown. But where he got the idea might surprise you. As the story goes, Shepherd-Barron was in the bath when he had a thought: If a vending machine could dispense candy bars, why couldn’t another type of machine distribute cash?”
“This is a very friendly "local feel" bank. Not everything is handled like the big banks,ie phone deposits take longer to go through but they are very nice and it pretty much makes up for any inconvenience.”
“The general manager was a great help and gave us a courtesy call before we went to go speak to our appointment David. He was also a great help and helped us with what we needed to get done for that day. Definitely go back for good services. Very nice staff as well thank you guys very much for the help and support!”
“I am shocked at the bad reviews. This branch is one of the best I have experienced. The whole team is helpful, friendly, professional and attentive. From the staff at the counter to the bankers everyone has been fantastic”

“Came in to get some cash after visiting Ace and sunny massage. Someone was taking forever at the atm, and there was no line. The young man who helped me was very friendly and it was a quick transaction. I like when they offer a bank inside a grocery store. Excellent service and fast! I was finished before the dude at the atm was. Lol.”
“Every time I come in here, it is straight to the point and the environment going inside is always tranquil and welcoming. Maddy in particular always gives me good customer service and is a convicted bank teller. Whatever this Chase location is doing, keep up the good work and build up from there!”
“Dunno what all the wild reviews are about. The corporation indeed has a heck of a history - but I gotta tell you, Daisy Mena-Mendez is one of the most naturally kind people I've ever met. She's down to earth, speaks to you like a real human being, and man, at least for me. I felt heard and taken care of. Folks like that aren't common these days.”
“Very good experience with Raegan Beckham !! She went above and beyond to help me. She spent over 2 hours helping me and much appreciated !! Thank you again Raegan”
“Great location great staff. Would be five starts if the wait wasn’t so long. They need more tellers. Plan ahead sometimes there are 20 people in line with only 3 tellers. Plan for a 15-20 min wait.”

“I want to say big Thank you, to relationship banker Ana Desantiago for helping me and my mother in law to make bank accounts. Ana is a very nice person and great professional!”
“I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Jorge, one of the bank tellers at Frontwave.
Jorge greeted me with a friendly demeanor that instantly made me feel at ease. His professionalism and efficiency were evident throughout our interaction.
Jorge handled my transactions swiftly and accurately, ensuring that all my needs were met without any hassle. He was patient and took the time to answer all my questions, providing clear and helpful explanations. It’s rare to find such exceptional customer service, and Jorge truly went above and beyond to make my banking experience a positive one.
Thank you, Jorge, for your outstanding service. You are a valuable asset to the bank, and I look forward to being assisted by you again in the future!”
“Please go see Mr. Rich Purdue for your banking needs, at the Wells Fargo in downtown Escondido! He was extremely knowledgeable and professional when my wife and I opened our resent account, as well as helping us with some family banking issues! I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family for all their financial banking needs!

“Today just wasn't a day I wanted to deal with. Walked into this branch and was greeted by Pamela. I was having issues with a payment from a company she made sure to keep a smile on her face and as well make me laugh!! A good hard laugh is definitely what I needed today. Usually I'm the one that makes sense a person smile or laugh but today it was return. Thank you Pamela for your service.”
