From the initial call to make an appointment to setting up an account, everyone we interacted with was helpful and friendly.You get a real sense of a local community focused bank here, one where the people working here actually care. “We needed to cash a cashier's check drawn on another branch of Bank of the West and Stan and Ly were so helpful and gracious. My husband went inside to cash the check while I walked our rescue Husky. She is a vocal girl. Immediately, Ly was out with treats and invited us inside. I was amazed. Stan took care of cashing the check and was so personable and professional. He and our son went to high school together. It was like a mini-reunion. Another woman came in and I offered to take my dog outside, but Ly made the woman very comfortable in a cubicle away from us. I spent my entire career in banking and never witnessed such genuine care for people by branch personnel. They are fantastic.”

“WELL I DEALT W THE ABSOLUTE WORST BANK OF ALL(WELLS FARGO) NOBODY LIKES THAT BANK THEN SECOND WORST(BANK OF AMERICA)BUT I WONT GO ON.REDWOOD CREDIT UNION IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES WHERE THEY REALLY DO THEIR BEST TO HELP YOU WO ANY MARIN ATTITUDE N BELIEVE ME THATS A VERY REAL ISSUE HERE.THEY ARE PROMP N QUICK TO HELP...THEY DONT LINGER N EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT TO DO N THEY ARE VERY PATIENT..IM NOT VERY SAVVY W BANK ISSUES N HAVE SCREWED UP WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES N HAD LATE FEES UP TO 800 BUCKS N DIDNT KNOW IT...I REALLY DIDNT..THEY BELIEVED ME N I WAS SO GRDTEFUL I COULD HAVE CRIED..WHEN THAT HAPPENED IN WELLS FARGO THEY TREATED ME LIKE A CRIMINAL N A LIAR N WOULNT EVEN LISTENED TO ME N WERE THE RUDEST MEANEST PEOPLE I EVER SAW N TOOK PLEASURE N PUTTING ME DOWN...I EXPOSED THEM FOR BEING INCOMPETENT N HAD TO AGREED W ME BUT I LET THEM HAVE IT N THEN LEFT THE BANK BUT NOT BEFORE IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE DID I TOLD THEM WHAT I THOUGH OF THEIR BANK N NO WONDER THE GOVERMENT WANTED MILLIONS FROM THEM...ANYWAYS THE HORROR STORIES I COULD TELL..REDWOOD IS SO UNLIKE A BANK LIKE THAT I SWEAR I GO FOR FREE N GO ON A PUBLICITY CANPAIGN N TELL EVERYONE THEY ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST N NEVER HAVE THEY DISSAPOINTED ME...N I TELL EVERYONE TO GO OPEN AN ACCOUNT W THEM N IF THEY THINK IM LYING LET ME KNOW...EVERYONE THANKS ME FOR MY ADVISE TO THEM TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT THERE N THEY LET OTHERS KNOW...THERE IS NO BETTER BUSINESS IN MARIN.”

“This branch is actually beautifully designed with darker tones and having a more upscale, ballroom style motif going for them. Steven their banker, was super attentive to my situation when dealing with my account, while handling multiple issues around the teller line and still keeping the customer service at top grade. Customers coming in just need to realize that this is a bank and lines are natural to wait in. Just like everywhere we go in life. The wait here is not out of the ordinary and the personable interaction with the teller line and bankers are exceptional. Definitely one of the better Citibank branches.”

What makes this extra special and a super duper is that this bank has an inside location ATM has 1$ bills and 5$ bills they even have 2$ bills...the 2$ bills part is a joke...yet how often does one see an ATM inside a bank that dispenses smaller bills...that is way cool...”
“I've been with Wells Fargo since I left for China in 2012. They had an agreement with ABC Bank in China that allowed me to send funds back and forth which turned out to be a life saver more than once.
Also they came to the rescue several times when I had trouble getting a refund from venders who were being difficult, not every time but generally more than not. Getting money out of an ATM machine has made my life on the road possible in China, Malaysia, and now in Mexico. I had a personal relationship with my reginal manager, an Orthodox Muslim, who went way out of his way for me until his boss put a stop to it. On balance, I feel fortunate to have Wells Fargo at my back. They're not perfect but at least they don't steal money out of your account like they did in China and in Malaysia they won't even let foreigners open an account.”
