“Young man that came to help was not very knowledgeable, but had su h a great attitude I went with it and we got through my adapter problem. A woman employee came to help and she seemed more the expert, seasoned staff member casting a large shadow on th poor young man, but again, it all worked out. Friendly, competent staff, had what no one else carried in town, pruce was astronomical for a piece of brass.”

“I needed a small halogen lightbulb and couldn't find it anywhere. Light blubs plus employee looked it up for me on the phone and had it. When I went in they checked my light bulb under a magnifier and gave me the right bulb. They are so helpful and knowledgeable.”

“Very good selection for a small store. Prices are generally higherthan Home Depot or Lowes but the drive is much shorter. For buying a lot of items they do a better job than the big stores. Likefasteners and similar - you can buy them individually and the selection isactually better than the big stores.We just bought an electric chainsaw on sale and they were the cheapest.The staff is very helpful and you don't have to look around for 15 minutes.”
“The staff at Barnes welding is fantastic. I brought an old wore out MIG welding Torch ca looking for some parts and the guys behind the counter spent quite a while trying to figure out what unit we had. Parts were no longer available for the old Tweco Torch. The Miller 130 welder was really old so I went ahead and bought a brand new Hobart 140 unit Which is much more convenient than the old monster. LOL I have been very happy with a new machine and I have always used Barnes welding as my favorite welding store and you should too thanks so much William and Jamie”
“They give military discounts. They often have the stuff the other two big stores don't have. It's easy to find someone to help you there. I ordered a custom exterior door. You never know what they will have on clearance there. Today they had a skill radial arm saw for a hundred and fifty bucks . That's like 100 off.”

“First of all, this is a contractor store so I felt a bit apprehensive going in for the first time as I am just a DIY homeowner trying to fix my drip system. As soon as I walked in , Michael greeted me and made me feel right at home. He personally walked me thru my project and hand picked all the parts I needed himself! Later that day I had to go back for another part and Roberto provided me with the exact same level of service. It's clear that service is a big part of their store culture and they perform the lost art of customer service better than almost any other business I have encountered in the last year. “I can't say enough about the knowledge people who work there. Also, extremely patient. I had sprinkler valve issue. Slow leak to the front yard around drainage. I had Irritrol Control Valves and Normac carries them. I am not landscaper and was worried I will make things worse while working on sprinkler system. These guys were like Rob Schineder's character - "you can do it". Helped a lot in tackling it. I will be going here for all my lawn and irrigation projects. Thank you.”
