They are always participating in community events, the owner is very kind and always looking out for his customers. The only time they didn't have the big bag of the type of food I buy for my dogs, he discounted the smaller bags so I could get two at the same cost. You just don't get that kind of service elsewhere. I will always look for ways to bring my business to them!

But I wanted to take the time to write this review of Dr. A and all the people at Balboa Veterinary Medical Ctr. Dr. A. gave Jasper an extra year and a half of good quality life that we didn't think he'd get. We almost lost him at age 15 and Dr. A saved his life by correctly diagnosing a problem we didn't know he had, and getting him on a medication that got him walking again. Every time we went there, the women in the front of the office always treated him with care and kindness, and Dr. A was always responsive to questions that came up. I live a 20 minute drive from this office, but decided to come here instead of a closer vet for the past few years. It started with an emergency where we couldn't get in at any closer vet clinic, and I was so happy with the treatment we got there, that I continued to use Dr. A as our vet from that point on.

The reason I chose GDHB is because the way Denise is so thorough with her process, and cares so much about the safety of my 10yo Dane Daisy, I knew that is someone I can trust with her. The house is clean and is dedicated to the animals. it's super comfortable for her, shady. Daisy has not ever come back ill or with any problems whats so ever. She's always healthy and happy!

Your Best Companion Dog Training & Behavior
Granada HillsI recently got my 6 month golden back from Duane's 3 week program. He was sent there for basic obedience training for a puppy. Before his training he would march to his own drum, tune me out if he is at all distracted, only do things if I was going to give him a treat, pull on the leash etc. After the program, my boy looks to me for leadership, heals PERFECTLY when we go on walks (I can go for 2 miles now with him by my side effortlessly). Another thing to mention is I have had friends who took their dogs into the more commercial/brick and mortar training facilities and the dogs did not learn much. In comparison, Duane does the training in his home where he lives with his family, which I think transfers much more seamlessly when the dog goes home to its owner.

The service is fantastic the ambience is very new style trendy no nonsense basic. The only other similar place I know is in Templeton. We ordered the breakfast Burrito, pork belly hash and the pancake sandwich called "Junk" all of them were delicious. Great job!!!
