“Only in California General Store is a fun shop just off Main Street that’s packed with all kinds of knick-knacks, souvenirs, gifts, and plenty of funny socks. There’s a huge variety of stuff to look through, so it’s the kind of place where you can walk in just to browse and end up finding something you didn’t know you needed.
The store is definitely full of merchandise, but surprisingly, it never felt crowded or difficult to walk around. There’s plenty to look at without feeling overwhelmed.
The employees said hello when we walked in, which was nice, but otherwise mostly stayed behind the register and let us browse on our own.
Overall, it’s a fun little stop if you’re walking around Main Street and looking for a unique souvenir, a silly gift, or just something that screams California. Definitely worth popping in for a look.”

“This is my fav UO in the area! The layout of the store is spacious and all of the merchandise is displayed beautifully which makes it too easy to shop. The sales associates are always in the best mood and more than willing to help. The managers here are always friendly and helpful as well. I came in before my online order was ready and the whole team did their best to have my items ready when I got there. There was a little bit of a complication with my order but the manager was amazing at figuring it out. It’s hard to visit any other location when this one is so pleasant!”

I discovered Open Market OC this past November just in time for the holiday season. My absolute favorite thing about this store is that I am supporting local small businesses like crafters, jewelry makers, chandlers, and sooo much more. During my many visits to the store, I was always greeted and offered information about the products. The staff is just so friendly and knowledgeable about each vendor. It’s a great place for gifts. You have to check it out when you are at Pacific City.”
“My go-to place when I need something new quick. They usually have a great selection and so I rarely leave empty handed. Be kind to everyone working there. It's a very stressful time to be working retail and they show so much patience when assisting shoppers.”
“I needed scrubs for a new job and they had several brands, different styles and a variety of colors. As for pricing, pants & shirts sold separately it ranged from $15-$40, I think price was fair.”

“21/7-2025, I was there looking for the Move Zipper up Jacket, in Size M. Then I went up and asked a worker named ‘Frank’, he helped me by looking it up on the app and he said it would be somewhere in the store. I was in a hurry, cause I needed to make it in time for work. I asked him if he saw the jacket and he could hold it for me. So later after work I headed back to the Store and I went to the cashier girl(Alexia) who was super super sweet if she’s been seeing the jacket or if the jacket has been on hold or any. Suddenly I heard Frank behind me and said that they found the jacket after I left in a hurry for work! I’m so beyond grateful and happy that Frank and Alexia was helping me with positive thoughts and such great customers from these two! I will always remember this moment!!
