I came to pick up my dog on a hot day and the dogs were in an AC room, which I really appreciated. Great for social dogs because there are other dogs to play with.

Bianco's Italian Cuisine
935 S La Brea Ave, InglewoodReally liked Bianco's. The antipasto salad was a rock solid choice. Plenty of meat. Extremely fresh vegetables. I loved the way they cut the peppers. The seeds had been nicely removed leaving larger pieces of the pepperoncini easily removed in case they are too hot for lightweights like me. Fortunately they were absolutely the perfect spicy level. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with the breaded chicken. It was so good and a generous portion that I had for my lunch the next day. The garlic bread was very good. Kind of the old fashioned style. But to me, the real star was my Italian Sausage sandwich. Lots of places make a similar sandwich but somehow they always find some way to mess it up. Not at Bianco's. It's very classic. Perfect roll, lots of (really good) sauce, plenty of sausage and TONS! of cheese! Just the way I like it. I couldn't finish it all with the antipasto salad so I took half of it home and ate the rest of it later. What could I do? It kept calling my name. Will definitely be back for another one soon.

Awakening
231 S La Brea Ave, InglewoodI was in town for a quick layover at LAX and was meeting up with a friend in the early morning. This place was near the airport, open, and was pretty cool to check out. Their food selection was great and it was easy to order and find a place to settle in. Everything seems to be credit card only, since you order off of tablets. Also we were really lucky with parking. Super fun!

The bartender who helped us out was so so kind and enthusiastic about sharing the beers with us and having us try them. They have a lot of variants of their west coast IPA, which works out for us as we love them. We will be coming back often!!!

(Garlic-honey steak & shrimp fries) There were no other customers while I was there at the height of lunch time, but the guy working there was super friendly and helpful. You might as well order through the website before going in because you end up ordering via a Toast kiosk anyway.

Our waitress was great, very attentive. Also, as someone who lives in Silverlake, the amount of good food and wine we got for what we spent blows my mind. Will definitely be coming back soon.
