I recently brought my Shih Tzu to your shop for a full-service groom and teeth brushing because his regular groomer was booked out.
Although he usually struggles with going to the groomer, he was surprisingly relaxed, walked right in, and greeted your staff. He was ready for pickup in just 2.5 hours, and the service was well worth the price. As a longtime local living within walking distance, I cannot believe I had not brought my dogs to you sooner.

528 Pacific Coast Hwy, Hermosa BeachThe Puppy Academy in Hermosa Beach has been crucial in my family’s journey in raising a puppy. We have a Doberman Pinscher puppy who started at the Puppy Academy around almost 3 months old. They built a structured routine for our puppy which set the perfect foundation for good habits and positive behavior.
Our puppy learned many things from commands such as sit, stay, proper walking, come here, lay down, place, house.
I think the most important thing built though was the potty training and the socialization provided. Puppies NEED early socialization to develop into confident and friendly dogs. We have happy to see our puppy grow (and still growing) into a friendly, brave “teenager” puppy. Friendly play style!
A Doberman is a high energy and demanding dog breed. Normally I would train our puppy fully on my own as I did with prior Dobermans I had in the past, but due to demanding work hours and obligations, I am so grateful for the opportunity The Puppy Academy provided during these critical socialization and learning periods. They train and interact with the puppy all day until I pick him up after work. Then I can continue with following their training methods throughout our time at home and on the weekends. It made it so easy! I wish I had the Puppy Academy all along for my prior dogs too.
I’m impressed with the friendly staff and how well they did with our puppy! Even though our puppy has completed the program and graduated, we have still seen ease with the teenager/adolescent phase and training on our own again because of all the Puppy Academy set up for us. Thank you!!

The menu offers a fantastic variety of fresh, healthy, and hearty options. During our visit, I ordered the skillet scrambled eggs, which were cooked flawlessly, generously portioned, and packed with great flavor. The restaurant is incredibly accommodating for kids, and my five-year-old daughter absolutely loved her beef sliders; the patties were juicy, well-seasoned, and the perfect size for a younger appetite.
To round out the meal, we shared a freshly blended protein shake, which tasted fantastic and was an excellent, refreshing way to ensure we had a high-protein addition to our breakfast. The waitstaff was highly attentive, quick with our orders, and genuinely kind. The dining area is bright, extremely clean, and captures that classic, laid-back Southern California beach town atmosphere perfectly. Between the nutritious menu options, the excellent service, and the great location, it is an ideal spot for anyone looking for a high-quality and thoroughly enjoyable casual meal.

We got the avgolemono soup that was on the special board, the jumbo wings, and short rib Korean tacos. All had insane good flavor and Veronica was such a down to earth server with great beer recommendations. The chef has new specials on rotation all of the time highly recommend.

My fiancé and I visited on a Friday night for date night and were seated in the wine cellar, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana. It was absolutely delicious without feeling too heavy. Our server, Deanna, was wonderful and offered excellent wine recommendations from their extensive wine list. Just a note: they serve wine and beer only. We will definitely be back! Be sure to make reservations, as this place is clearly adored by many. Highly recommend!

We thought we may have been underdressed but were welcomed with a smile and able to get a table right away without a reservation. Our table for two was quaint and in the main dining room, cozy, amazing table linens told us that we were in for an amazing food experience. The attention to tableware, linens, glassware let you know that they care about making you feel like a welcomed guest in their home. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. Our waiter was Sean and he was passionate about the specials, quick with our water and our cocktails. Highly recommend the Smoked Old Fasion, served and presented table side in it's own Decanter to make sure you have the best smoked experience! Our meals were cooked to perfection and the first bite made you smile and warmed your heart. Then the owner came to our table and introduced herself, asked how the food was and explained that all of the ingredients comes from Italy and the taste was proof! The braised short ribs her specialty over palenta was to die for!!! I am sure we will be back the next time we visit Hermosa Beach and we will try something new! If your not just looking for a place to eat, but have a dining experience with ambiance and food made with intent, please visit and support local and don't forget to ask for Momma she will be in the kitchen making sure that your meal is made with love!
