I used to take my dog to Petco but I stopped taking her there after she had random cuts all over her body. I’m so happy I found this place. I’ve explained to the groomers that my dog has a heart conditions and gets very nervous. I feel safe when she is getting her haircut and the end result is always amazing !

360 Rosecrans Ave, GardenaBrought my girl Nora to Wolfgangs for training as she was the only dog I was not able to train myself. she was aggressive towards anything that moved during our walks. The crew at Wolfgangs helped turn her into a dog I am proud to walk now. Protection training also helped as I know she has my back now. I miss training with them, and I know Nora does too.

Hollypark Pet Clinic
1415 W El Segundo Blvd, GardenaThe receptionist was super friendly and easy to explain the reason for the visit. They do accept care credit, cash and cc. The vet was sweet and took her time with our dog. She prescribed medication and was really specific of each test that was recommended. Park in is very limited in the front but they do have parking in the back, it’s just a bit hard/narrow driving into the lot.

1330 Rosecrans Ave, GardenaThe food here is spot on! Definitely one of the better shawarma places I've been to for authentic shawarma- that includes places like Dearborn and Toronto. The flavors are on point. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and my wife got the falafel. Both were delicious. The chicken, the pickles, the toum..it all comes together really nicely. The falafel is actually flavorful, it tastes fresh, and it isn't dry. Fries were a nice touch. Guys behind the counter were really friendly too. And it took us probably less than 10 minutes to get our order.

I ordered ahead and asked for a 12-piece mixed box and the woman on the phone confirmed it would be $21. The sushi is simple and delicious. I loved every piece the inari, mackerel, tamago, it was all so light, tasty, fresh, and well made. When I arrived, a sweet lady managing the window asked for my name, and she said it would be a few minutes, no problem! But when she brought my box she said $17, said the phone order taker told me $21 but the woman insisted $17. I thought one or the other made a mistake and didn't count my pieces but then I get a call saying I was given the wrong box and they apologized; of course, I apologized too for grabbing the wrong one. SO I am just sharing this as they do take pride in customer service and want to make sure you get what you ordered, I was okay with a slightly smaller box but I'm glad they offered to resolve it! A great place that should last another century at least!

Ramen was surprisingly good although the chashu and the egg were cold. The noodles were REALLY WELL COOKED and the broth was rich but not too salty

1630 W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardenai enjoy this spot for both studying and spending time with friends. they have a great amount and variety of both indoor and outdoor seating. the drinks they serve also have a wide selection to choose from, with the mango mochi being one of my favorites. i recently tried the pistachio croissant which was so balanced in not being too sweet while being a perfect treat/dessert after our meal right before. definitely a spot i enjoy returning to frequently

From simple carbonara and garlic and chile noodles to very creative Japanese inspired dishes. Also, they have a huge ribeye steak! Love everything there with the ice tea too! I'm a regular for more than 15 years as you can tell. Go!

18517 S Western Ave, GardenaOne of my favorite places to go and get yakitori in the area! The restaurant is located in a strip mall along with ample parking. This place is a hot spot on weekend nights, as wait times can go as high as an hour to an hour hour and a half. I got here on Saturday at about 7:30 and had to wait 25 minutes for a table for two. We opted for the bar seating and get a bunch of yakitori along with the yakitori fries, cucumber tataki, and the pork omelette. All of the food was absolutely exceptional! The one thing I always come for when I am here is the yaki-onigiri, and I am happy to report that it is still just as good as it was the last time I was here. The inside is quite small but the atmosphere is so lively, almost like you're eitting at an izakaya in Osaka. Overall, glad that I got to enjoy the food and the vibes again!

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles
16829 S Broadway, GardenaWe have a senior pug and wanted to adopt another pug so he would have a buddy. We went through pug nation and adopted Myles who has been a wonderful addition to our family. The rescue group is very thorough so the process does take time (6 weeks for us!) but it's worth it in the end. They take good care of their pugs having a comprehensive vet exam, spay/neuter, vaccinations and they are fed high quality food. I would definitely adopt from them again. I will always adopt, never shop!
