I used to take my dog to Petco but I stopped taking her there after she had random cuts all over her body. I’m so happy I found this place. I’ve explained to the groomers that my dog has a heart conditions and gets very nervous. I feel safe when she is getting her haircut and the end result is always amazing !

I transferred my dog here after he was diagnosed with diabetes, I didn’t feel his previous vet clinic was doing enough for him since it had been months and we couldn’t get his glucose managed. Immediately after switching over to Dr Nawar, my dog Dexter improved substantially. He was energetic and playful again, glucose is controlled, and he just seems like his old self again. Dr N takes the time to have a conversation about options and encourages a collaborative effort on my dogs care. I can’t thank the team here enough for their dedication, attention to detail and AMAZING customer service! I bring both my dogs here now and it’s the best decision I’ve made for them.

Economico Animal Hospital
1451 Artesia Boulevard Suite 3, GardenaMy cat Loki had an emergency PU surgery here about 2 months ago, performed by Dr. Seo and Dr. Yoon. Although his surgery was quite complicated, they reassured us that he would recover well with the right attention and care. Loki’s recovery took a little over a month and required almost everyday follow-up visits for incision checks and cleaning.
Fast forward to today: his incision is healed, and Loki is peeing normally as if nothing ever happened! I am incredibly grateful to all the doctors and vet techs who were part of his recovery journey.
I am especially thankful for Dr. Seo. He was deeply attentive, closely followed Loki’s healing process, and addressed every single one of our concerns regarding the incision site. He saw me cry quite a few times because I was so worried, but he was always comforting, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process.
I highly recommend Economico Animal Hospital to everyone! ❤

He and his team feel like family and extend that inclusion to their furry patients and their owners. I brought a stray cat that I feed into their office and they treated her with the same kindness that all of their other patients receive, and they saved her life! Everyone in the office is patient and understanding, but Bri goes above and beyond. I can’t thank this team enough for their kindness and expertise! Raven and I are forever grateful!

The assortment of dogs are mouthwatering, add Garlic Fries and a drink and you’re in for a great meal. The employees are very friendly and polite, you feel like you’re a regular there. This is a fast casual restaurant, with a very clean dining room. The music is kicking, it creates a chill place to enjoy a meal and hang out with friends. I’ve never had Garlic Fries this good. These have a great garlic flavor without being harsh or oily, just thin, crispy, garlicky fries!

18517 South Western Avenue, GardenaBest yakitori and grilled skewers around! Shin-Sen-Gumi is hands-down the most reliable chain for Japanese street-food-style dishes. Their yakitori selection is huge, and everything is seasoned well. Prices are reasonable, too. The atmosphere and flavors feel authentically Japanese — it reminds me of the energetic yakitori bars that define Tokyo nightlife. Be prepared to wait in line!
The quality varies based on who's behind the grill and days/timing. But it's always reliable with larger menu and more options than other places.
I love animal internal organs, but for a safe and crowd-pleasing choice, try the beef, chicken thighs or wings, potatoes, rice balls, meatballs, and sausages.
I don't recommend taking leftovers or to go orders with most yakitori. Reheating ruined the flavor.
FYI: offal (aka internal organs) is packed with iron, zinc, vitamin B12, protein, and vitamin A. So be bold and experiment — bring a friend along to share, or to hand off anything you don’t love. After all, what are friends for if not to be your food trash cans… I mean, sharing is caring, right?

This place hits it out the park every time! Be careful how to navigate the parking. The spot in the corner incognito are the best.
