18226 Prairie Ave, TorranceI used to be a dog groomer, so I know that there are a lot of frustrated, short tempered dog groomers out there unfortunately. The groomers at petite tails are so gentle and good at what they do. They have the perfect standard cuts and fusion styles.
I still groom my own dog to save money, but I am alway lazy on nail trims, so I bring them in to the sweet groomers at petite. There are alway dogs with the most perfect Asian fusion cuts in the waiting area. Their scissor work is perfection and they have the awards to prove it.
The prices are pretty good too if you are used to paying to get your dog groomed.
If you have a small dog, I could not recommend them enough.

She is very nice, very gentle with my puppy 7 month chow chow puppy Leo. He absolutely loves her. He always looks for her at her location when he has training there. The other person that deserves recognition is Hector the trainer. Hector is very knowledgeable about his job and has patience in training my chow chow since this breed can be stubborn at times. Leo loves these 2 people at Petsmart. If anyone ever needs their pet groomed or need training these 2 are very good at their jobs.

I am writing to report a deeply disturbing incident of animal cruelty that I witnessed at your Torrance location on Pacific Coast Highway.
While I was at the store, an unleashed husky puppy ran up to greet me. Shortly after, a woman grabbed the puppy very aggressively by the scruff, causing it to cry out. Following this, the man she was with proceeded to choke the puppy and yell at it. When I confronted them and stated that their actions were wrong and that the authorities should be called, the man began yelling at me.
This was a horrific experience, and I am incredibly shaken by what I saw. I urge you to review your security camera footage from today to identify these individuals, as this incident needs to be reported to the authorities immediately.

Miranda was wonderful: I wanted a LID bag of kibbles and Miranda took the time to research the brands that were available in the store. A few more requests and Miranda got freeze dried sardines, fresh/raw food, bone broth and a Kong toy. All this was done so fast and easy and I appreciated Miranda's knowledge and professionalism throughout.

We found Dashing Doggies as they are close by, so we called and made an appointment! We were not disappointed! They had great availability, the price was in line what we had been paying at a salon, and most importantly, for us, we needed to have someone come to us. It was a great experience! We have two dogs and they both were groomed. They both look adorable! 2551 W 190th St, TorranceI have never met Dr. Fahrer in person since we started visiting here in the pandemic, but she has diagnosed and cared for my dog’s two eye problems and she and the staff there have been very kind and helpful. My dog’s eyes looked terrible and were itchy even though We had seen two vets for his eyes prior, but once we went to Eye Care for Animals, he was diagnosed and has drops that have improved him to the point that his eyes look good and don’t seem to bother him any longer. Much appreciated! They are only in Torrance on Monday just FYI.

Every person and pet I encounter here has such a genuinely calm, happy, and welcoming vibe, which feels great for a veterinary place.
Our first cat fam, Clem, has been coming here for about three years now. We first brought him in as a stray we had taken in, and I still remember how kind, patient, and supportive the staff were during that experience. As someone navigating the uncertainty of helping a stray cat for the first time, their reassurance and compassion meant so much to me.
I can say that because of that experience, we recently brought in our newest family member- another rescue unhoused community cat, and the staff were just as wonderful as they were/they have been. They were calm, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly understanding while answering all of my noob “new cat in the house” questions.
It’s rare to find a place that consistently treats both animals and people with so much warmth and kindness. I’m genuinely grateful for the care, compassion, and support this team has shown our little family over the years. I was honestly very anxious about bringing my dog here because of some negative reviews I had read about the place and the veterinarian. However, my experience was completely the opposite, and I was truly impressed.
From the moment we arrived, everyone was wonderful. The veterinarian, the nurses, and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. They treated my dog with so much love and professionalism, and I felt supported and listened to the whole time.
They were able to properly identify my dog’s problem, and now we finally have a clear treatment plan moving forward. That alone gave me so much peace of mind.
Yes, the price is a bit higher than average, but it is absolutely worth it. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and genuinely care about the animals they treat. My dog was extremely well taken care of — truly, very well.
I left feeling very happy, relieved, and impressed with their professionalism. I would definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to come back.

18305 Hawthorne Boulevard, TorranceWe only go to Clarmar! We’ve been driving from Orange County to VCA Clarmar in Torrance for 30 years. Our pets show up in our yard and adopt us and seem to come to us with allergies to food and/or the environment. Everyone at Clarmar is really nice and loves animals. We’ve been there a lot so we know if it’s urgent, let them know.
Our favorite doctors are Dr. Miller and now Dr. Trey Shimizu. (We haven’t seen the other doctors). All the receptionists have a calm voice and the technicians are amazing! If you or your pet gets really anxious going to the vet, let them know when you make your appointment and they can advise you. They have a dedicated cat room too!
Your fur babies are in good hands at Clarmar! Highly recommend them!

2964 Columbia Street, TorranceI attended a baby shower here, and the venue was definitely a unique and interesting choice. The brewery has a really nice patio area with an attached indoor, garage-style space that gave the event a fun, casual atmosphere.
There was plenty of patio seating, and the chairs were surprisingly comfortable. They also had picnic tables with umbrellas, along with a few standalone umbrellas. My biggest complaint was the lack of shade. It was extremely hot the day we were there, and there simply weren’t enough umbrellas to keep everyone comfortable.
Unfortunately, moving indoors didn’t really solve the problem either. Even though we were out of the direct sun, the indoor garage-style area was still incredibly hot and didn’t provide much relief.
Overall, I liked the unique setup and the amount of seating, and I could see this being a great place for gatherings and events. However, on a hot day, they definitely need more shade and better cooling, especially for people attending larger events.

1879 Del Amo Boulevard, TorranceMy friends and I have been a big fan of this brewery for years. A bunch of my friends used to be members in their old location in the valley. They still could be members. I'm just not sure. They specialize in barrel-fermented sour beers here. Although personally, I can't say those are my favorite types of bears, I found plenty of them from this place that I really enjoyed. The folks here are very friendly, and I think a few of my friends are personal friends of the people here. The vibe was super chill on my visit. This was my first trip to the new location and it was for a special raclette night - which they have from time to time and I missed the last one at the old location. I ordered the raclette platter (potatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, pickled peppers) with prosciutto. it was so delicious and especially for a very reasonable price. I got to enjoy it with some of their beers which pair really well. I even got to try one of their newer beers that they just produced and was less acidic and sour than their usual offerings. I really enjoyed that one a lot!

I am glad my friend wanted a drink and the place I knew and liked was closed so we walked back up to your shop in Hermosa. I tried your coffee and it was surprisingly great says this life-long Dunkin Donut user (I'm from the East Coast).
Suggestion: I would definitely up your ante and get your logo to the left of your COFFEE sign so others see it's a brand AND in case someone else is hesitant like me they would know to come in initially and not by default as my first time. I really think you are selling yourself short with your signage!
The other day when out in Torrance, I specifically looked for your store as I knew there were 4 and Torrance had 1. The parking was awful (I got stuck in the lot, hard to turn around and almost had to double park or to leave) as too small a lot (not your fault) but my cappuccino was great! I suggest a larger location and more accessible for the Torrance shop.
Overall very pleased and a happy accident to have initially stopped in and found you!
I'll be back again!
