But Claudia kept me updated the whole time and was just super sweet. She got me another car that satisfied my needs. This is usually my go to place for rentals in Long Beach. “The day before I was supposed to return my car rental I received notification from the airline that due to bad weather i ad to change my flight. I tried to contact Enterprise at the Downtown Long Beach but they were closed. I called customer service and I was told that the offices were closed and that I had to wait until the next day at 8am to speak with someone. Customer service also told me that there would be a fee to drop the car off at a different location and they couldn’t provide the fee because they did not know. Well, my flight departure was changed to 9:05 am boarding at 8:35am and I couldn’t wait. I was disappointed that Enterprise did not have something in place to assist its customers after hours. So, I emailed the CEO, President and VP the next morning and I never received a reply. I then decided I would return the car to the Enterprise at Long Beach airport and I shared with Karen Mason at Enterprise what happened and she accepted the car and waived the fee. Thank you Karen Mason for allowing me to return my rental and waiving the fee. It’s people like you Ms. Mason that make the world a better place.”

“Great customer service, and I love the short walk from the gate to the counter. No Emerald Executive Aisle, but you don't miss it. The cars are right beside the counter. Super quick and easy. The only problem is I cannot, for the life of me, get through to anyone by calling the local number. I left my makeup bag on the floor in the front passenger seat upon returning the car. My 15 year old just gifted it to me for my birthday, along with all of the makeup inside of it. The website lost and found process is not returning any results, but this location is so small and personal, I know that I could just speak to someone live, they would find it. I am so sad. There's also a fake diamond tennis bracelet in there my mother in law just gave me. I'm so sad. Please please return it. I will send you a prepaid FedEx packing label or UPS. Please respond.”

“Update on below. Avis responded and resolved the issues. Everyone makes mistakes (companies too) and if they fix them, i'm ok with it. They did.Avis is terrible. Didn't have the car i reserved. Wouldn't give me refund for lesser car. charged me for fuel AFTER i had just filled it up before dropping off. Literally got the fuel surcharge on my e-receipt 1 minute after dropping car off. They didin't even check it!Automatically charged it to make more money i guess....”

“I have only used Zipcar three times but all three of those times I had little to no issue and the small issue I had was promptly resolved. The issues I have/had are1. There aren't any cars in Torrance where I live. I have to Uber to the car which is either in el Segundo or lax. Which whatever that's not that big of a deal. I have more of an issue with Ubers prices being so high but that's beside the point. 2. I was charged a late fee of $50. I was at the location at the correct time. I was waiting in the car for my Uber because it was pouring rain and I would have been soaked. My Uber showed up 6 minutes after my drop off time. I called customer service and easily got someone on the phone. The lady was extremely nice and removed the fee after I explained to her the situation. So all good.I like Zipcar. The prices are affordable, cars have been clean with the exception of one that smelled like smoke but it wasn't that bad and that's not Zipcars fault that's on the dip s**t that smoked in it. The gas is covered which is awesome!! I actually got a Toyota Tacoma last time and it was NICE!! I honestly don't know what everyone is complaining about because the Zipcar I use is awesome and convenient ish. So Zipcar if you're reading this maybe have some cars in Torrance but if that's not an option fine. Keep up the good work!!!”
