“Absolutely the best! My parents have been coming to Mark now for most of my life. So when the time came for me to propose to my now fiancée (she said yes! definitely because of the ring) Mark Schneider was the first and only jeweler I considered. I'll be honest and say I was a little nervous about the occasion having never looked for rings before, but the super knowledgeable and friendly staff (Mark included) put all that to rest within seconds of entering the store. That's no exaggeration. Within one minute of arrival, I was sitting in a comfy chair with a complementary craft beer. It was absolutely from start to finish an enjoyable experience.. Really made everything feel even more special and exciting. Truly. Oh yeah and the ring! His style and craftsmanship are extremely cool and elegant. We got engaged on Lake Como and with everything there was to see on our trip she couldn't stop checking out the ring. I couldn't recommend Mark Schneider enough. Superior people, prices, products and experience vs other competitors. Thanks for everything!”

“This was my first time there after a family member told me about. This was cutest store with a variety of unique items to choose from. We went for a customized etched cheese board for a retirement gift. The lady working couldn't have been nicer and explained how the machine worked. We ended up a few other items. Even though we drove an hour to drive all the way from South OC, I plan on coming back for the fun items and great vibes!”

“First as a husband that couch is very comfortable while your wife is shopping around. It was very welcoming the staff was very helpful. On our first trip in we didn't end up purchasing anything. But my wife was interested in a certain sweater. They got her number down added her to some type of list. When the sweater came back into stock she got a text message. We just happened to be on our way to a Tasting Room a few doors down from this store. So we decided to stop in check it out. On Second Glance my wife did not like the sweater. But they had a jacket that caught both of our eyes. We ended up getting that jacket. It was around $110 seemed a little high but the quality was there.”

“My sister introduced me to this thrift shop. I didn't know what to expect, but was so happily surprised. It's not a huge shop, which was perfect. You don't feel overwhelmed or feel likely to miss seeing something as with overstocked shops. Items are donated by locals and all proceeds go to benefit the city's homeless and low income.They sell lots of treasures- home goods, clothing, jewelry, and furniture. Things change daily and they have special deals going on weekly. Items are very reasonably priced and the store is run by super friendly volunteers. I bought a cool 1940s nurse book for $4 and a $2 Holland America tile. Vintage at its best!”

“This is my go-to spot for local, handmade body soaps. It's a family-owned business that has some clothing, but mainly skincare. For those familiar with downtown Long Beach, the company used to be Ash Bay Soap Co. and used to exist on Broadway. They're rebranding as Saffria and this is their forever home. They consistently run a special on soap bars where you get 4 for $25 and you can mix and match. You really have to plan ahead though as they sell out fragrances rather quickly, and if you don't have your stock, you have to explore other options. *we buy in bulk and stick in the fridge. They also usually have bath bombs, oils, etc as well. If you're looking for quality and care about ingredients, this is the place for you.”

[!]); AND, 2) not ONLY in customer service, but, in CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! Long Beach needs more places like this. When it comes to Bixby Knolls, this place is certainly the pearl of the quarter!”
